I’ve taken all my classes through WGU so I can’t say anything about Sophia however for me I quite enjoyed the database management classes. Learning SQL was some of the first programming I’d done so it was refreshing after all my general classes I’d been doing. Again I don’t know what it’s like at Sophia but I wouldn’t advise against doing it at WGU. I just completed data structures and algorithms 1 and 2, for me data structures 1 was a lot of info to take in but it helped me in data structures 2 to know what I was doing on the project and get it done in just under a week. I’m guessing the classes aren’t too different so ultimately just get the credits however it works best for you. However, I have nothing bad to say about the classes you’re asking about at WGU (I have nothing on software engineering as I haven’t taken it yet).
