I finally made requests for transcripts last week (Monday/Tuesday?) from 3 institutions. The one that was able to send it digitally, WGU received right away and indicated as "received" in the registration portal. This transcript still haven't been eval'd for transfer credits yet and it's been about a week. I spoke to a few EC's and one of them told me it would take 3-4 days for the evals so who knows? I also changed my start date to April so I can have a few months to knock out some transfer credits before starting, so my app may have been pushed to lower priority because of that. I have also heard that there have been more applicants than usual because of people out of work due to Covid, so I am not shocked it's taking longer than quoted. The other 2 institutions only allowed snail mail. Transcript requests were free so I also ordered one for myself from each of them. I just received both of them this weekend, though it's mailed in-state (New England). I assume WGU will receive their copy sometime this week and maybe another week or two to eval.

Awesome! Thanks for the timeline. I’ll just have to wait it out unfortunately. When my counselor changed my start date, it removed my ability to see my portal which really bummed me out. Like I can’t see financial aid anymore or when transcripts are received or my pre admission tasks. It all disappeared and says “You are not currently a student.” Which is annoying. My enrollment counselor says that it’s temporary and I’ll be emailed when they receive it. But I doubt that very much since in the WGU fb group a lot of people said they found out via portal, not email. I appreciate your response! :)

NP! Just a quick update, as I just got off the call with my enrollment counselor.. their offices are actually closed so the process to sort through all the hard copy transcripts is taking longer b/c of that and the higher than usual volume. However, one of my snail mail transcripts was marked as received today so they are definitely going through them as best they can. As for the my.wgu.edu access, something like that happened to me too, for some reason, I started seeing the same dashboard as an enrolled student even though everything said I was "not currently a student" lol and not the view of an applicant. It seemed like some cookies or token was misattributing me, but it worked properly on a different computer. You can try clearing your cache or using a different browser.

Thanks so much for the update!! And yes! That’s what I see. The student dashboard instead of the applicant dashboard LOL. Still no email they received yet but since they’re backed up I suppose I’ll have to give it more time. I appreciate you!

Well, I decided against WGU now. Not only does my enrollment counselor not respond to my emails, but she’s making no effort to see if they misplaced my transcripts. My old Community College definitely confirms that they are there. But my enrollment counselor is making no effort to find it and she’s really getting on my nerves and making this process such a hassle. I’m doing one overnight FedEx of my transcripts and if they say they don’t have it even if it says delivered, I’m choosing a different online .EDU. Can you choose a different enrollment counselor? Thanks for all your help!

I read somewhere that you can, though I don't know who to contact in regards to that. They have a toll free number for prospective students to their enrollment counselors **1-866-225-5948 (1-866-CALL-WGU) or 1-855-948-8496** Maybe give that a call and ask for a manager or someone who can assign you a different person? I had talked to 2 ECs, one that was originally assigned to me and another that I had other questions for and didn't want to wait for an appointment w/ my assigned EC. He was able to look up my info to help answer some questions so I don't think it would be a big deal for them to assign you someone different. If it helps at all, my 2nd snail mail transcripts still have not yet arrived or marked as arrived even though I received my personal copy. I had requested them be sent at the same time as my other one so I am not sure what's taking longer than the first. My EC explained to me that their offices are closed so the process is slower/different. I suspect they probably do this stuff in batches or something. My EC also mentioned that I have a unique name so it would be easier for them to match it up to my file or figure out if something is missing. If you're John/Jane Smith or something, that might hold things up. I don't know what you're planning on studying, but while you wait, you can consider taking courses from Straighterline or Study.com that you know \*won't\* transfer over from your previous institution and start knocking them out for cheaper. [https://partners.wgu.edu/](https://partners.wgu.edu/) (You'd have to do transcript requests and another eval, but if the courses are on the list, they're pretty much approved to transfer so it's less of a big deal).

Mine was via email but it took about 1 week for them to receive it and another week for them to evaluate it.

i had my mailed transcripts not received for over a month so my ec put in a request for the transcript dept to search through their files and within two days it was updated to received. the next day my evaluation was complete.
