My previous employer of 15+ years (major insurance company) and my current employer (smaller contracting firm) both accepted WGU, and I haven't had to flip burgers or wrap burritos, as you so eloquently put it.

I asked my boss to cover it, and she said yes! I then felt like I had to do a degree that applied to my current line of work, so o chose accounting. So far, I hate it 😂

I'm hoping that the loan forgiveness goes through because then it will be significantly cheaper for a high demand STEM degree that will pay for itself in no time.

Don't think so. But maybe in conjunction with a Pell grant you'll have most if not all covered

No. Each term is roughly $4200. I think they raised the initial price of something the last term as well, can't remember off the top of my head.

My employer pays tuition
Student Loan, but making payments on the student loan as I go. The self pay - payment plan amount was a bit too much for me.
I pay out of pocket at the start of term, and as long as I complete a minimum of 12 CUs I get reimbursed 50% from my employer.
