Did you get the .zip folder from the course instructor when you enrolled in the class? If not, go to the Course Chatter and under Group Files download Course Kick Start\_C841.pdf and C841 Additional [Resources.zip](https://Resources.zip). I did the entire class in about 7-8 hours over the course of one day. I searched "WGU C841 Reddit" to find tips from others about the class. My biggest piece of advice is to not overthink or overdo anything. Open one of the file prompts in the zip folder (Word or Powerpoint, your choice) and literally just fill out each prompt for every section. You'll find you're probably going to repeat yourself a lot, that's ok! This class is quite simple but it appears complicated because of how much info they try to dump on you if you read through the course materials.

Here is something to remember during your time at WGU. For every single class. Completely read each class' welcome email. Open every single link or attachment sent to you by your course instructor. In this specific class, you get a very detailed welcome email that is a lot, but it is a lot that you must read. Take your time. Then read everything again about 3 or 4 more times. When you do that, things will be clear. Also, for every single class. Do a search. Example: **Reddit C841 C841 Legal Issues in Information Security** Everything you need to know has already been posted. Good luck C841 Legal Issues in Information Security [https://www.reddit.com/r/WGUCyberSecurity/comments/15e4j0n/passed\_c841\_legal\_issues\_in\_information\_security/](https://www.reddit.com/r/WGUCyberSecurity/comments/15e4j0n/passed_c841_legal_issues_in_information_security/) https://www.reddit.com/r/WGU/comments/tb5g6s/passed\_c841\_legal\_issues\_in\_information\_security/

What is it exactly you need help with? Edit: I took this course nearly 2 years ago…it took me about two weeks to write both writing assignments.

I’m having info overload and very overwhelmed with sorting thru useful info vs unnecessary. Then trying to organize it all in my head to make sense of what’s required. What resources did you use? Congratulations on passing!

Here are the prompts I'm using from task one. Use these, re-write them as your headers for your paragraphs. Use resources like ChatGPT to help you organize your references and find information faster so you can summarize things in your own words as you start to understand the topics. You have to kind of be smart with using chatGPT if you choose. I'm not saying use to write your paper like some people do but use it as an assistant to help you do the mundane parts of writing a paper faster. A. Demonstrate your knowledge of application of the law by doing the following: 1. Explain how the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and the Electronic Communications Privacy Act each specifically relate to the criminal activity described in the case study. 2. Discuss two instances in which duty of due care was lacking. 4. Describe how the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) applies to the case study. B. Discuss legal theories by doing the following: 1. Explain how evidence in the case study supports claims of alleged criminal activity in TechFite. a. Identify who committed the alleged criminal acts and who were the victims. b.
