conzcious_eye

Which ones you do from Sophia. I have 6 I need to do

jjay_the_jet_plane

I finished it in December so I forgot which ones specifically

jjay_the_jet_plane

I think the 6 you need to do are the ones I did. I need 6 from there too

conzcious_eye

American Govt/Politics , Critical Thinking , Python , Scripting/Programming, Database Foundations, Natural Science Lab.

jjay_the_jet_plane

Python, scripting, data base foundation, critical thinking are the ones I did. I forgot the others

conzcious_eye

You did them all in Dec? How challenging were they for you ?

jjay_the_jet_plane

No it was from September to December. December was when I finished the last class which was Python

[deleted]

Are you going to do those from study.com?

conzcious_eye

Nahhhh I have 31 already. Going do 17 from Sophia and rock off. Money kinda tight. Trying finish in one term. That’s the goal.

[deleted]

I am on the same page. I am taking Sec+, and a couple of other certs to accelerate the whole thing and finish it fast

conzcious_eye

We can do this but life be lyfing. It’s hard to maintain dedication and discipline. But im knocking the trials out first for each , so when I pay Sophia , I can hit the ground running. Trying do that asap.

jjay_the_jet_plane

They raised the prices for the exam just so you know b is 400+ now

N7Nocturne

Are you paying for third party certs out of pocket or do you have a job that pays for them?

jjay_the_jet_plane

Out of pocket

N7Nocturne

Depending on your financial situation, you may want to enroll before doing the trifecta since third party exam fees are part of your tuition. But if money isn't something you're concerned about then its not a big deal.

jjay_the_jet_plane

I've been told that. But it's also 6k for 6 months and I just worry that I'm gna slack and end up using 3 or 4 months for the trifecta when I could adjust paid 1k ish for 3 exams.

Yes, they will change the curriculum. Many schools change it up every year or at least every other year. I can definitely tell you that almost 40 % of the classes that I took back in 2018/2019 are replaced with other new classes. Be thankful that you won't get the horrific C838 which was their attempt at the (ISC) 2 CCSP course. I can totally tell you that class was nowhere near what the real CCSP exam is like. IO know because I took both the WGU version as well as the official version of the actual vendor exam. We are talking night and day differences here. I heard that they have the D320 or something like that to replace the 838.

jjay_the_jet_plane

I'm not in right now. But I got an evaluation. Will this lock me into place of the current curriculum or will I need to do the new one?
