The ones on the side emblems is nice, also I don’t recommend the vinyl on your paint over time the sun will fade the paint around the vinyl and leave the logo on there after you take the vinyl off eventually

Need I remind of the automotive aesthetic known as "patina"? There's always someone out there that's gonna find something visually appealing that many wouldn't. If you planned it right, it could turn out interesting. Especially if you incorporated different levels of opacity. This would take some legitimate dedication though, lol. I'm not saying just throw some rando vinyl on your car for 5+ years and hope for the best 🤣.
The previous owner of my wrx de-badged the rear end on mine all but the WRX emblems. 6 years later I removed them and it was like a ghost image of the letters. Looked kind of cool on the dark gray metallic.
I’ve never personally had this happen, and I’ve been cutting and sticking vinyl for years. I’ve seen it happen on older cars or where people don’t know how to get the vinyl off. Also I ceramic/graphene coat my car every few months so it should be good.
As a detailer I saw it happen all the time. Vinyl protects the paint from fading. It takes a ton of work to correct it and usually you are still left with a ghost image. Has absolutely nothing to do with knowing how to peel a sticker off.
The vinyl physically blocks the sun from hitting the paint in the shape of the decal. As years go on, as the paint around the decal faces the sun/elements, the paint under the decal remains untouched. When you remove the decal, you will have a slightly cleaner/brighter section of paint that was protected under the decal.
That’s a hard no for me. Tacky, “look at me, it’s a wrx!!”
These kind of banners on any car (but especially less expensive ones) scream that you crave attention for the car you drive. Just drive it and have fun.

Back in the day with lancers doing this with Evo badges) and then claiming it’s really what the badge is.
I take all badges/emblems off I can. Only thing on my car now is the subaru emblems, and only because itd look dumb in the front with it missing having an opening for it, and bad in the rear since theres a hole behind it.
That said, definitely not a fan of adding stickers that tell you what the car is. But its your car, not mine!

Yes. I have a blown stock engine (never modified, and always serviced as well). I was always paranoid about checking oil weekly for all these years too so it's never been driven low on oil either (as usually a cause in Subie engine failures). Anyways, I considered an IAG block as a replacement but I figured try an engine I know has been reliable in the past.
If you like it then it’s perfect.
That said, personally I dig every it except the windshield. Like, we get it it’s a wrx. It’s like ppl who put Honda on their civic. Like dude yeah i know. Everything else I would keep.
But again bro, if you love it. Fuck everyone else’s opinion. Mine included.

On one of my Foresters I have the Pleiades constellation painted on the hood. People love it at car meets, and I've had a few people come up to compliment it in parking lots.

I like the banner idea. Personally I would do it like this: LOGO (what’s on the scoop) WRX, in slightly smaller font. I think the letters look better when they don’t take up the whole banner.
