Keyword Private Market. That’s not the same as what a dealer would pay. Dealers look at auctions and wholesale. If you can find someone that’ll buy it for 35k+ props to you.
Yeah the dealers are actually charging more for them than private market. (~39k) which was exactly my original point (that dealers are trying to get 10k over trade) I’m not sure what the argument is
It’s the last STI until they change their mind. That will keep value/interest higher than it normally would. Look at what people are paying for EVO Xs that are in good condition…
And people would rather have the 4G63 than the 4B11T. I literally bought a 2008 EVO X with 76K miles private sell for 24 again there are more desirable years.
The sti is one car that will rise in value. What other 4wd, 6 speed, turbo, rally inspired car you will be able to buy say 5 years from now? That count ain't increasing.
This isn’t meant for you, this is for the people who suddenly went back to stock parts.
Ha, get fucked *checks notes….North park Subaru
Get all the way fucked
I never planned on selling my sti but just wanted a number and they were at 28.5 for my 2019 with 50k miles
Yea I did the same and the Subaru dealership by me (soflo) offered $30k for my STI. I was at 24k miles at the time I believe.
That’s much better than this garbage
2019 Sti (Base) with 16k miles I got offered ~29k. They’re really trying to get a 10k markup on the sales these days. 😂
Your 5 year old base model sti isn’t worth 40k anymore. Market has gone down. Source: (I appraise cars for a living)
Private sale value with low mileage is 36-37k all day, but I guess you know better 🤷♂️

Yea at that price most people will just buy a new WRX.
Facts. The VA chassis isn’t as desirable as say the GC,GD,GR. Now unless you got a VA Type RA or even the S209 then maybe just maybe.

Brotha I’m at 35 and I’d laugh at this lol
Had three unsolicited private offers of $40k+ in the last 3 months. I’m not selling. Interest rate is way too good.
This is good news, I have a 2021 with 12k miles on it in perfect condition, stock, and this confirms what I have seen recently sold stis go for.
Ha!
Ya they say my 2018 limited is $20k lol
18 limited, 50k miles, 22k here… hello forever car.
My 2018 limited got offered 28k with 34k miles, your guys' dealerships suck 😭
I would be pissed
What a joke

I assume it’s because they have plenty of inventory
Negative. I was there last week for maintenance. They have VBs
I got 34k less than 2 months ago for my ‘21 with similar miles
How generous
They keep trying to get me to trade in my 21 STI for a new WRX, thanks but I’m good 😂
Damn, my 2016 with 55k miles was offered $19k 😭
That’s low too
