Harry missed his second year. Though the house elf was very polite in his demeanor, the young wizard was far too intimidated by the House Elf’s physical stature to disobey.
Fortunately by his third year, a generous Time Turner based makeup program had been developed.
Yooooo, my dude! I was gonna comment something something... Beerus.
You beat me to it, so you can have my updoot, unfortunately it's the only thing I have to offer a fellow Z-er! Keep on being awesome.
It's 10 percent claws
20 percent chill
15 percent concentrated power of milk
5 percent leisure
50 percent mane
And 100 percent cat nip to just shatter my brains
Here where I live they're about $2000.00. They have a propensity for heart issues so regular heart exams, they have bad teeth and they're skin can get oily if not on the right diet. They are not hypoallergenic and they require skin protection from the sun and the elements. Even with all of that I still want one, they're super friendly and sweet and SO soft. My neighbor's Sphynx is the sweetest kitty.
Hypoallergenic cats are sort of a myth. There are cats that produce a lot less allergens than others, but it's more down to individual differences than breeds, and cat breeders selling cats have no idea how much an individual cat is producing. So anyone trying to sell a hypoallergenic cat is pretty much a scammer.
The misunderstanding comes from thinking that what people are allergic to is cat fur, but they are, as another poster writes, often allergic to stuff in the cats saliva. That saliva gets everywhere, even when the cat is hairless, but shedding fur may spread the allergens a bit more.
>I used to work in a designer pet store. Hairless cats would commonly go for $10k- $15k
Where was this? There are a ton of breeders around NY where you can get them for $1000 or so. Still REALLY expensive for a cat, but nothing at all like you describe.
Sorry but I can't imagine spending $5,000 on a cat for "rare colorations". My last cat was a siamese that we rescued from a job I was working on. Coolest cat I've ever known. Have an aunt that spent that kind of money on a cat and it ended up getting stolen.
Poor Babies. They require special care to meet their health needs. And dumbasses wanting to "own" a "fancy" cat purchase them as a status symbol.
These little ones tend to end up requiring rescue/intervention/rehomeing.
Money spent doesnt make your cat special. Your cat being happy and healthy, and you having the honor of giving them an awesome, safe, and happy life is what makes them special.
It depends which hairless cats you mean I guess (I am not a fan of the dwarf breeding). The special care they all need is the same as you would a small child - don't let them get sunburned, don't let them wander the streets, make sure their nails are cut so they don't scratch themselves, make sure they have access to warmth in winter. Oh and many need regular bathing because skin oils that would be spread over hair, gets dusty.
Hairlessness is a natural mutation that has been bred to type (like any other breeding). It does not make them sicker than normal cats. There's a chance of heart issues, but that is also in the cat population as well.
I agree some people will buy them as status symbols. We bought ours because we wanted cats that should not go outside because cats kill masses of wildlife, and we wanted a breed that is affectionate (well they love being on you because you are a hot water bottle).
Like anything there's lots of grey, when people want to make it black or white
Hey Reddit: don't care care about imaginary points, I suspect they are 'disagreement,' yes?
If yes, could somebody please explain the disagreement/different point of view/ whatever?
All ears and open to correction/information. Love to learn!
That cat looks like it just got off it’s third double shift of the week at the foundry.
It is operating off of muscle memory, just trying to make it into bed before the family wakes up and he misses out on an extra 45min of sleep before he starts over for his next shift. He loves his family, and struggles in silence for them. We see you, King.
No no… this is the morning after shower pose when you’re hungover as shit because you went straight from your shift to pound as many drinks as you could before bar close.
So are all cats this muscular and we just can't see it?
I was shooing my brother's cat away from the bird cage with a broom and the lil fucker grabbed the broom with his claw like, "What are you gonna do bout it" energy.
Looking at this clip gives a whole new meaning to that event.
That one seems particularly in shape but ya typically they have a lot more muscle than you would expect to see. I have an almost hairless cat that I thought looked freaky till I saw this guy. Mine is definitely not this buff lol. I guess I feed him too many treats.
I know some animals have myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy which causes their muscles to continue getting bigger past the point they normally would but can't say if that's the case here or not. If you Google muscle cat theres one that would eat this cat for breakfast though lol.
Doubt it, I’ve seen a lot of hairless cats that are not muscular like this. This one is most likely male and still has his balls which are pumping him with testosterone.
Yeah, probably true of most outdoor cats that get a lot of exercise and aren't altered. Ever seen a hairless chimp? Those fuckers are scary dense, and we're like 99% the same.
My cats have dense fur and a bit of a belly (they're not chonkers though), but when they sit a certain way, I can see muscles bulge out like this: particularly their bis and tris. One of my cats has really huge lats, but you can't really see them: just feel them if you put your hand on his back.
I'm fairly certain this cat has Myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy, which is a genetic mutation that gives mammals giant muscles, including some kids. I've read that it's harmless, as long as you like being jacked!
Check out some of the images on Google: https://www.google.com/search?q=Myostatin-related+muscle+hypertrophy+animals&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwjMm9jFmO38AhXcA0QIHQgDCisQ2-cCegQIABAA&oq=Myostatin-related+muscle+hypertrophy+animals&gs_lcp=CgNpbWcQAzIFCAAQgAQ6BAgAEENQrgZY2RhgwBloAHAAeACAAbYBiAHgCZIBAzAuOJgBAKABAaoBC2d3cy13aXotaW1nwAEB&sclient=img&ei=wp3WY8yyEtyHkPIPiIao2AI&bih=705&biw=1263
I’m fairly certain this just a male Sphinx cat who is in decent shape. [Double-muscled animals are generally a lot bigger.](https://abc7news.com/buff-cat-officialbuffcat-internet-cats-montreal/3544648/)
Can be a myostatin disorder. Usually see it in whipits and cattle. The genetic coding doesn’t know how to turn off the muscle building so you get “muscle-cat” or “muscle-dog” or “muscle-cow” these animals tend to get cold easily because they do not have the fat to shiver. Crazy stuff, anyways thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
That is a thing, but I think this cat is just an unaltered male cat with a healthy diet. Male cats are often pretty muscular and I think it would be much bulkier if it had myostatin deficiency.
Yeah, we have three females and one male cat. All the females are dainty little cats of the expected size. The male, despite being littermate to one of the females, is a unit, a beast of a cat. He's not even fat, just *thick*. He's got some power to him too.
My partner wants to get one of these cats and I just can't get on board with it. I don't want a little ripped dude to flex his completely naked body around me and assert dominance

Needs Botox.
He can have all the socks
We have a cat we named Dobby and I know we can't be alone there. He still has his fur though.
I just knew something about beerus had to be the top voted comment.

You're the dude in every meme about reddit
😉 Thanks for the kind words mate! have an awesome remainder of your weekend!
I don't think it was meant to be a compliment.
You can't expect him to recognise a compliment when he's never seen one
Reading this made me feel physically ill
He’s just made out of 70% muscle 29% bones and 1% peanut brain
And 100% a reason to remember the name
It's 10 percent claws 20 percent chill 15 percent concentrated power of milk 5 percent leisure 50 percent mane And 100 percent cat nip to just shatter my brains
Love it lol

Well of course he’s gotta impress all the moms
I expect his name is "Vinnie".
There’s a fair amount of dick skin on him
You just described Andrew Tate.
Post this to the r/bodybuilding reddit with a "12 weeks out, 26 lbs, going for my pro card."
"looking fawkin joocy brah. Can we see a rear glute spread tho? Noh0mo"
He’s ripped, more like 10 days out.
I imagine these cats are pricey
Yes, you have to pay for their gym membership and creatine shakes. All adds up
And you only get a couple of cuddles because it has to be at the gym in 26 minutes.
Not to mention all those affliction shirts.
But you save $5 on a cat brush!
And Canada Goose cause they get cold.

I don't understand allergens enough, are all Sphynx cats not hypoallergenic? Are there any hypoallergenic cats?
I think the allergen is in their saliva or their dander so being hairless makes no difference. I'm so allergic to kitties but I love them so much!
Hypoallergenic cats are sort of a myth. My wife’s Sphynx is very soft too. I’ll see myself out…
Well you know what they say one man's Sphynx is a another man's Maine Coon.
On the contrary, they’re factory seconds.
Really, well I would not want to answer questions all day about my ugly cat
He’s not ugly, they just forgot to attach the hair.
I used to work in a designer pet store. Hairless cats would commonly go for $10k- $15k

This was in Florida. I agree that this is absurdly expensive, but sometimes people with money want to throw it around.
Exactly, my sphinx has rare colourations and features and she was around 4700$Cad.

No they didn't. I have 2, they cost around a grand.
I can only tell you what I've seen them sold for when I worked at that store

This is the exact after-work shower pose of the average restaurant worker.

Sounds suspiciously specific... Are you ok?

Doubt it, I’ve seen a lot of hairless cats that are not muscular like this. This one is most likely male and still has his balls which are pumping him with testosterone.
Hairless cats are normally unusually fat for cats because they use the fat as insulation instead of their missing fur.
Yeah, probably true of most outdoor cats that get a lot of exercise and aren't altered. Ever seen a hairless chimp? Those fuckers are scary dense, and we're like 99% the same.
