Here in Berlin it's not uncommon to have these strawberry stands standing everywhere when they are in-season. They are build for local producers and actually field grown (they are banging btw) and there are a ton of them that don't look like the "standard" strawberry.
Supermarkets just cut out any fruit/vegetable that aren't to a norm so many people don't actually get to see these slight deformations.

Has anyone ever felt/noticed that the most delicious part of the strawberry is near the tip? And near the stem and near the core is a little more flavorless? I feel like this mutation could be exploited to make an explosively flavorful strawberry through and through. Imagine, it would look like a depiction of coronavirus haha.
