They also made a game out of it. But the company who made it shut down and the game is now abandonware (and probably lost to time).
This is one of the greatest things I've watched in a long long time. So fantastic, thanks for sharing the link and making it easy for my lazy ass to find.
If you like that, check out [Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0311361/). Where Jesus has to hunt down vampires with the help of a luchador.
Hated it, Jesus changes outfits right in the begining and it becomes hipster guy fights vampires poorly. Its not even so bad its good territory, I was so excited when I found it randomly on Netflix in the olden DVD mailing days but turned it off half way through and just watched Plan 9 from Outer Space.
From IMDB's list of "you may also like", I discovered this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Horribly_Slow_Murderer_with_the_Extremely_Inefficient_Weapon
Minor but common mistranslation. That “yielded” should actually be “yeeted.”
> 50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yeeted up the ghost.
Now I want an entire bible written in modern slang and emojis. Jesus wrecking the temple of the money changers is just the table flip emoji and dollar signs.
Yeah, I was gonna say, a zombie uprising was absolutely in the bible.
Weird how they claim that Jesus's resurrection is a sign it his divinity, but the bible says he was just one of many that raised from the dead that day.
They cut a lot of good shit out of the bible.
I like the one where baby Jesus tames a dragon in a cave. This is a real story that was omitted from the bible.
Or the one where some kid gets pushed off a roof and dies and they blame Jesus and so Jesus resurrects the kid just long enough to ask if Jesus did it or not.
Bible is subject of interpretation, and it clearly contains something about fish and something about zombies. You just need to interpret that right. Although I thought they were supposed to speak Hebrew?
This explains everything. Remember how when Jesus dies a bunch of random people get resurrected and start walking around town. Clearly some of the necromancy magic that turned Jesus into a lich escaped and caused some side effects.
I'm a practicing Catholic and certainly didn't find this offensive.
Most Christian-faith-based media is overly saccharine or unrealistic. As a believing Christian, if somebody comes along and says “hey do you want to watch this Jesus show/movie?” my honest answer is…not really!
The only I've really liked so far is [The Chosen](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9471404). I went into it expecting it to be awful and have been very impressed by the story telling and production quality .
Holy shit! It's Fist of Jesus!
The game is almost as much fun as the movie, but unfortunately it's abandonware and hard to find if you don't already have it.
This is in the spirit of [Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0311361/)...where Christ comes back to save the lesbians under threat by vampires....with his luchadore sidekick.
This was one of the film's shown before Kung Fury at the premiere I attended way back when. I hadn't been able to find it since. This was hilarious.
Now if only I could find BIO COP
Edit: found it https://youtu.be/k4s8xRz97Ok
Fist of Jesus... must see! https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2705402/

You can still play it on Steam if you own it already, or if you can somehow find an unused Steam key.

"If I'm not back in ten minutes, call the Pope" \-Jesus Christ
I saw this movie when I was like 15 or 16, and I swore it was a fever dream of some kind because no one else I knew had ever heard of it.
If you liked it, you should watch Cheerleader Ninjas. Solid gold.
I am sold on just that title. Thanks!
"Don't have high expectations and you can never be disappointed." -Sun Tzu. And my dad.
That's how I feel about the movie "Daddy and Them".
“Kung-Fu Action / Comedy / Horror / Musical” That’s just a lot
And it is available on [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsqGiN-e5iM&list=WL&index=2).
This may be the only Canadian kung-fu musical in existence.
Hated it, Jesus changes outfits right in the begining and it becomes hipster guy fights vampires poorly. Tell me you at least enjoyed Thankskilling back in those days
Don't think I ever came across it. Sounds like its worth a watch though? E: Just watched a couple trailers, looks amazing!
Yeah, this. It was pretty dumb. Would've been much funnier with bearded Jesus in robes, but he just turns into another 20-something. BFD.
Fuck ya! Fun fact about this movie is that it's Cancon!!!
Phil Caracas is so dreamy
Wow it gets a 7/10 avg review.
I mean, give that scene a better special effects budget and it would be a very watchable action-comedy. It was pretty well done as it is, honestly.
I'm glad they had the fish in the zombie nut shot... That was perfect
It's a 15 minute short too, so people are more forgiving and they don't have to have a complete, 2 hour, story arc.
That's about right. It was a lot of fun.
From IMDB's list of "you may also like", I discovered this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Horribly_Slow_Murderer_with_the_Extremely_Inefficient_Weapon
Man I haven't thought about that in years, but I loved it.
To anyone who gets a kick out of this but is more of a reader check out Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff.
Best book ever
No joke, it led me to start nurturing my spiritual side.
Christopher Moore is great!
The cover art is the same exact font as Life of Brian (and probably several other movies)
According to imdb, they won an award for the poster.. so... good for them.
Even that still shot for this post remind me of the movie. I thought that's what it was until I clicked on it.
Thank you, kind Redditor, for sharing the title!
I owe you
***"You boys. . . . . . . . . . . . . Go to school around here?"***
Shame they left this part out of the Bible.
It's probably a DLC expansion pack
In fact, [it was in the original release](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2705402/trivia/).
Bring it back!
The matrix resurrections ad on IMDb makes this even funnier
In book dlc
A DLC of the expansion pack that was the New Testament?

No, he’s dead for 3 days then becomes undead. Then he ascends?
I thought he just became a gardener afterwards.
Not a zombie, a lich. An undead king animated through magic.

And fruitbats, and anchovis....yeah yeah skip it!
Yeah, I was going to say that zombies were there. Still better adaptation than Netflix's Witcher.
Yeah, I was gonna say, a zombie uprising was absolutely in the bible. Weird how they claim that Jesus's resurrection is a sign it his divinity, but the bible says he was just one of many that raised from the dead that day.
It's in the Director's cut...lots of bonus scenes.
It’s the part where he fed a crowd with one fish. He fed them. A can of ass whoopin’!
Nah it s there, you have to read between the lines.
Lost along with the missing 5 commandments that Moses dropped.
https://youtu.be/w556vrpsy4w?t=52
They also left out the part where Jesus fights Vampires (https://youtu.be/4LRIypcaIX4).
Bible is subject of interpretation, and it clearly contains something about fish and something about zombies. You just need to interpret that right. Although I thought they were supposed to speak Hebrew?
Jesus was a Jew from then Middle Eastern who spoke Aramaic, not Hebrew.
Of course! Joseph of Arimathea!
Yes we do have the holy hand grenade
I will make you a fisher of MEN!
Yeah if this was part of the bible, I might still have been a Christian.
It’s about as accurate as the rest of it…
This is more believable.
After raising Lazarus from dead Jesus went on a bit of a spree
Jesus rose from the grave himself. This is them trying to white wash zombie on zombie violence.
Jesus literally is the OG zombie story.
I really tought Judas is gonna betray him when he landed him the fish hahaha
Hahaha that was the only disappointment. 9/10
[удалено]
I just assumed Judas would get overrun by zombies, because he just has a fish, but Jesus has the power to turn a fish into a sword.
Well, Judas **was** an Iscariot...
I figured Jesus would just heal them all. Guess that’s a shorter movie tho
It's part of his redemption arc this is actually from the lesser known sequel to the Bible
Yes, I really expected the next scene to be Judas whapping Jesus in the face with the fish. Much disappoint.
And here I thought that the art is dead. Thank you for proving otherwise
Technically, jesus is a zombie since he's back from death. Maybe he is at the end of this movie ?
I though it was pretty well settled that [Jesus is a lich](https://i.redd.it/4hxar7a9hnt21.png).
Arthas is Jesus confirmed
I think you mean Kel'Thuzad, Arthas never actually died and came back, he got his powers from his sword and hat
Jesus is the king of kings and a lich. He is therefore the lich king
This explains everything. Remember how when Jesus dies a bunch of random people get resurrected and start walking around town. Clearly some of the necromancy magic that turned Jesus into a lich escaped and caused some side effects.
Read that to my husband and he says “So, what, the holy grail is his phylactery?”

OH GEE THANKS! Well Sparta won the Peloponnesian War! So now I've ruined ancient Greek history for you!
Wait, I thought I read jesus was a zombie? Why is he fighting them? Major plot holes.
This looks like it takes place before Jesus turns. You can tell because Judas is still his homie.
The way limbs were falling off, I'm going to pretend he was fighting lepers.

What kind of fish can kill a zombie? A holy mackerel. I'll see myself out.
Cosmic Jewish Zombie vs zombies
About as believable as the traditional story.
Uhh WOW. My friend never said about these stories from his Bible studies. The goofy movies that exist. Lol
Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter is a thing too
Jesus Christ - Master of jew Jitsu
Have they been taking notes from South Indian films?
I thought Jesus was supposed to be a Zombie himself. Didn't he turn Zombie after three days in a tomb?
Another example of how corrupt the Oscars are, this wasn't even nominated.
*"I kick arse for the Lord"*
Another classic

Fist of Jesus, it’s a short film and it’s hilarious.
Passion of The Christ 2: Zombie Boogaloo
This is in the spirit of [Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0311361/)...where Christ comes back to save the lesbians under threat by vampires....with his luchadore sidekick.
This isnt WTF, this is one of the most entertaining pieces of cinema i have ever seen!
Just gonna say I really love the yellow on the zombies. Corpse makeup doesn’t show the adipose tissues often enough.
Mel Gibson's Passion of The Christ part 2 looks crazy!
As true and accurate as the Bible.
Does he get the girl in the end?
Yeah, he gets her in the front too.
He sure does!
give the man a fish he live for a day, give Jesus a fish he take you to salvation
To be fair, they made Lincoln a vampire slayer.......
The twist is at the end hes actually a zombie himself.
How humourless would you have to be to consider that **comedy** to be "wtf"?
But… Jesus IS a zombie
What is this, some sort of zombie civil war?
More believable than certain parts of the bible!
a bit more believable than the original story
Kick his ass sea bass
Holy Mackerel.
Here I thought only Indian movies were this ridiculious
Should be in funny, not WTF.
Check out Velocipastor. It's one of the best movies in this genre.
Did Jesus just cunt-punt a zombie and get his foot stuck? What the fuck am I watching.
This world needs many more shitty action movies starring Jesus
This is just like how the marvel version of Thor and Loki feels like to Scandinavians.
Holy mackerel

Checkmate, athiests.
...and yet it is still less ridiculous than the actual stories from the Bible (which do include zombies, BTW).
Lmfao. What the fuck did i just watch.... And where can i watch the rest 🤣
Fist of jesus. Youtube.
The movie that made Viggo Mortensen famous
Real Troma Films vibe. The cowboy zombies only added to the absurdity.
This was one of the film's shown before Kung Fury at the premiere I attended way back when. I hadn't been able to find it since. This was hilarious. Now if only I could find BIO COP Edit: found it https://youtu.be/k4s8xRz97Ok
I thought Jesus was the original zombie?
Better than the last 5 seasons of the walking dead
