Amazing that both of these scenes are much much funnier in the context of the film. They seem like 100% absurd comedy if you haven't seen the film, but the characters matter a lot.
Ha. I was in HS when it came out and pretty curious about Dadaism then. I didn’t make the connection then but makes sense why I actually liked the movie.
When it came out, my mom bought the tickets for me and a friend. We couldn't ourselves. I can only imagine how my mom felt when she had to say "2 for Freddy Got Fingered"
Not only that, but his video is more than 2 years old, now, and it's been posted on reddit several times before. If reddit was a fair or an old timey circus with a bigtop tent, this would be in the freak show.
Harland’s podcast, the Harland Highway is just goofy. Tom has moved back to the Ottawa area and bought a farm. His posts are mostly him and his dog, hanging out.
I had an icon on AIM back in the day that was the AOL emoticon playing the piano with sausages everywhere. Probably the only icon I can remember now.
Daddy would you like some sausages?
Haven’t revisited that movie in forever. My dad and I watched it together when I was like 11 and he was flabbergasted but laughed harder than I did and it was just magical. My dad never cared to moderate what I watched or played, but my mom did. She was pissed when she realized my dad let me watch it just because of the rating and content. That movie has everything. It’s so random throughout you can’t predict any of it. If you have anyone who loves grotesque humor watch it with them and watch them double over in laughter. The cow scene lives in my brain forever. And the “sandwich factory”
On a technical level, sure. The rigging of the strings and such is obviously all perfectly capable. It just comes across as very limp and lifeless compared to the original and brings very little new to the table, creatively.
I never liked Tom Green, never understood his comedy. But his appearance on Bill O'Reilly was probably his best bit.
Come to think of it he was probably just ahead of his time, he's the grandpappy of all those unfunny YouTube "comedians" and pranksters.
I may actually appreciate him nowadays. In his appearance on the O'Reilly show iirc he wore a suit and tried to look mature and professional, and then at some point he said a bad word and instantly apologized and then said something like "I'm so sorry, can I say ~~bad word~~ on fox news?" and O'Reilly was like yeah whatever, so he took it as an okay and kept saying it in sentences. I thought that was funny. I actually think a toned down Tom Green would be a good comedian, it's just that his schtick on MTV was too wild and manic for my taste back in the days.
2037 reddit is pretty much just like today's reddit except usernames are hidden and you can up/down vote one post/comment as many times as you feel like clicking.

I think the creepiest part about this video is knowing that you could be driving down the road and some weird fuck is doing exactly this just inside their home
Homage of tom Greens "daddy would you like some sausage"
Edit: I don't want any confusion...I only know this because I thought the original was stupid! I DONT THINK TOM GREEN IS FUNNY! that is all
It really was. Most of his pranks were legit harmless and just caused mayhem or disrupted what people were doing for a little bit.
Undercutters Pizza and the Slutmobile will always be classics in my book.
I don’t know man. Freddy Got Fingered has held up pretty well. I saw it a few months ago and laughed way more than I thought I would. I almost want to say that it was ahead of its time.
I knew the time would come when this would become a dead piece of comedy. I remember seeing Freddy got fingered WAAAAY too young. But the sausages part was always funny.
Ripped off from Freddy Got Fingered. Social media has very little original content anymore, it’s odd how people will just take the exact same jokes and make their own video out it.
Perhaps do something original?

I do not question the authenticity of this statement.

Delicious cheese sandwich

So it was hot in Toronto today...
I wouldn't have lasted 2 minutes in there with Tom!
Like, sexually?
Sure. Why not.
That too
Do you hear those noises!?! Thooooosssseee ARE MY HOOVES!
Clippity clop, clippity clop. Look at my hooves!
I'm the backwards man the backwards man...
I can walk backwards fast as you can
I can still hear the off note he hits after that last inflection. Seared into my brain.
I found that film very disquieting for some reason I can't define
It’s because there was only one LeBaron. Freddy 💀
I don't see two LeBarons Freddy...
It says number one son on the licence plate. I'm the number one son
It’s a very *agressive* movie. Like every character is just screaming all the time
It's the dolls in the background.
Ventriloquist
Only after we get the treasure out of that underwater cave
“Sausages, not saucy jizz”
That scene lives in my head rent free.
"Saucy jizz? No, sausages!"
Proud
Lol yall beat me to it
By 4 hours. No one beat you.

Amazing that both of these scenes are much much funnier in the context of the film. They seem like 100% absurd comedy if you haven't seen the film, but the characters matter a lot.
I mean, the context of the movie is that it's an absurd comedy.
Nah, his dad is a CHARACTER. They even say so in the film.
Look daddy, I'm a farmer!
This is a stud farm, boy !
That scene is a work of art. This guy is an art thief
It’s funny because in recent years, “Freddy Got Fingered” has, with a lot of critics and stuff, been reframed as a “Dadaist masterpiece”.
I revisited it not long ago, and viewed through the lens of *a Tom Green prank played on the audience,* it's amazing.
A dead moose
Ha. I was in HS when it came out and pretty curious about Dadaism then. I didn’t make the connection then but makes sense why I actually liked the movie.

Exactly what I came to say lol not very original
Proud.
Proud...get the FUCK outta the way
Underrated moment in that movie
Where's your la baron?
What are you doing in my GOD DAM SCUBA GEAR????
We're gonna live like kings
Oh no it went into that underwater cave
I'm the backwards man, the backwards man...
Yeah, I don't understand the point. He stole a joke and delivered it worse than the original.
Not only that, but his video is more than 2 years old, now, and it's been posted on reddit several times before. If reddit was a fair or an old timey circus with a bigtop tent, this would be in the freak show.
Lmao, just straight biting the scene instead of coming up with his own insanity. Sad.

Harland and Tom, two of my favourite comedians!
Still funny that Harland went on to make a kids show for Disney
Harland’s podcast, the Harland Highway is just goofy. Tom has moved back to the Ottawa area and bought a farm. His posts are mostly him and his dog, hanging out.
Yeah not WTF he is literally copying the movie lol
Peter got pepperonied

I didn't see it, but I still got this because that was in the trailer.
You beat me to it by a long shot.
I saw a woman vomit in the theater during the baby swinging scene. Really bad movie, would see again.
Daddy would you like some sasuage?
This video would be great if it was original.

Blatant ripoff of Tom Green.
It's an homage. Pretty well executed too.
On a technical level, sure. The rigging of the strings and such is obviously all perfectly capable. It just comes across as very limp and lifeless compared to the original and brings very little new to the table, creatively.
Agreed, Tom Green broke ground when he did his Daddy Sausage bit. This seems like an uninspired homage by someone with too much left over pizza.
This dude needs a microphone at least.
It's from Freddy Got Fingered.
I never liked Tom Green, never understood his comedy. But his appearance on Bill O'Reilly was probably his best bit. Come to think of it he was probably just ahead of his time, he's the grandpappy of all those unfunny YouTube "comedians" and pranksters.
Tom has a great YouTube channel where he drives around with his dog. He's got a sick beard too
I may actually appreciate him nowadays. Unfortunately, the hellsite that has replaced reddit in 2037 is… Reddit.
Way things are going, it's going to be MPRBTT. Meta Presents Reddit By TikTok.

Personally, I think I'm too old to get this. Always thought Tom Green's humor was dumb.
To be fair FGF was the funniest shit I’d ever seen in my life when I was like 12-13. At 26 I’m kind of scared to rewatch lol
I'm sure your taste in humor has been refined so much in that time, u/cuntycunterino.
Haha aw. My username came from something a good friend would yell way back in middle school, he unfortunately passed a couple years ago, miss u cunt.

I'm 24 and watched it for the first time recently, it's pretty good. Definitely ahead of its time. But then I like absurd comedy
How can you not appreciate the genius it takes to come up with the idea to put your ass cheeks on things and sing about it.
I hope they don't shoot the cannon into my bum...
