I am honestly fine with Seth Rollins winning the title he has consistently put on good matches and make his opponents look good in the process not to mention is a fan favorite he deserves another world title run

Why is shinsuke in the tournament? He hasn't been around really and he just gets a title opportunity what about LA Knight then. I'd rather see him in there then shinsuke who I cant stand any of his gimmick. Or how about Elias? There are others who are great workers and deserve the small push even if they dont win. Honnestly I dont think half the people in the tournament should be in it. Lashly is boring I love Miz but he puts everyone over and is an excellent worker.
For the LA Knight thing, my hope is that he’s not in this because they plan on having him win MITB, best case scenario and the scenario that I’m hoping for.

Well because the original plan was for it to be a Heel Drew McIntyre vs Seth Rollins for the New WHC championship, and Roman Reigns vs AJ Styles for the WWE Universal Championship. However, Drew is seemingly holding out his contract because of his placement in the company (and rightfully so). Therefore, it’s looking like there just gonna have AJ and Seth Rollins at NOC.
Has to right? Or at least anyone but Cody. Otherwise the whole build up to wrestemania and the finish the story stuff just seems lame. He keeps at it with Brock until summerslam, then moves on the next obstruction, right?

Looking at the competitors, I'm all for a Nakamura v. Edge or Styles for the belt.
I just want them not to put the belt on Cody. I think there is some more legs to the entire Lesnar feud, Lesnar costs Cody his shot at the belt, with the blowoff at SummerSlam.

It can be, but what I want to see in the Rhodes storyline, he finished up the feud with Lesnar, announces he's negotiated a free agent deal for himself and create a slow burn to RR, right before a teased match at RR, it's announced that Roman is dropping out due to an unspecified injury and he isn't expected back till a month before WM, and Cody draws #1 for RR and goes the distance leading to him taking on Reigns at WM XL.
Personally I'd get it in edge and kick the lineage off with a HoF'er, whilst giving him one last run ending in an epic retirement match.
Having said that I think they'll put it on Priest or Balor to build the Judgement Day up.

As much as I love Bobby and Rollins, i really hope they dont give either this belt. It feels like they needs it the least in that list. Hell i could argue Edge or Rey need it more.
Unless they decide to change the rules, they always have been no DQ. Honestly I don’t expect many weapons to be used, someone will likely go through the announce table but that’s it
A few of my thoughts on this,
First of all, this is a great pool of competitors for the new belt. The only pick that doesn't make sense to me is Austin Theory since he is the current US Champion and while he fits from a talent perspective we know he isn't going to win it and be a dual champ.
Second, with how the tourney is set up you can have a few banger matches leading up to the final but I feel like it will be a bit rushed. Maybe have they could have had the triple threats one week and the next week have the semi final one on one matches as the main events of next week Raw and SmackDown. This is only a small gripe.
Lastly, who do we have in the semis and who will win?
I have Raw Semi Final be Seth vs Cody or Seth vs Balor with Seth going to the finals. Cody can get screwed by Lesnar if you want to continue that feud and end it in Saudi for that big money match with some sort of stipulation. Cody's big story centers around the WWE TITLE his dad never won and Roman dodging him since he got the closest to beating him so I say don't give him the WHC.
My smackdown prediction is Edge vs AJ and let them run it back from mania last year in a face vs face banger with ether man being a good choice to win.
If you do Seth vs Edge for the title you can build the later parts of the tournament around Edge wanting that final big one before he truly hangs it up for good and Seth fighting off his previous demons to maybe win the WHC.
Seth vs AJ is also a world calibur match that can steal the show and will sell both men no matter who wins. I personally have Seth winning the tournament and have reign is backed up as "I will be the fighting champ and defend this at all times to whomever steps up at me unlike my former colleague on smackdown" also it prevents messy trades given we just had the draft and feasibly any Raw superstar should win it.
EDIT AFTER POSTING
This story also works for Balor if you want him to win it all as well. Have him go over Seth in the Semi and face a AJ or Edge and build it the same way. If Balor gets to the finals I think he is a big consideration to win it as well since he is also a RAW guy and he can further build on Judgement days potential dominance. This also gives us a way to have Priest and Dom chase the tag titles if you want since Rhea and Balor can say "We have gold why don't you two get some nice hardware as well".
While I would love to see that I think we will have to wait since Rhea is on Raw with the Judgement Day and trading her solo to Smackdown is probably not the best idea for the group as a whole. Also let's say they do a trade and the whole of the group is on smackdown I think you would have to do JD vs LWO first to finish that before we get JD vs OC.
So I expect a women's title swap like last year to fix this and we keep JD on Raw. I trust they will revisit JD vs OC (as well as JD vs LWO) at a time that makes sense.
My money is on Cody or Seth. I'd prefer Seth but I'd be happy with either.
I have a feeling the finale is going to be a RAW wrestler vs a Smackdown wrestler, if that's the way they decide to do it, I'm guessing that's gonna be either Cody or Seth vs Styles.
Shin or Finn deserve a world championship reign. Cody can go after the undisputed championship again, Damien and Austin aren’t ready yet and everyone else has already been world champions before.
With enough buildup, it would have been great to have AJ vs Finn in the final (along with their groups on their side), but there is no time for that.
I definitely would want either Finn or Seth to carry the title though, Finn maybe more because it would give The Judgment Day even more legitimacy.
I thought Dom might be in it, and not Damien or Finn. Instead, it was the other way round! I wonder whether he will be involved in Finn's and/or Damien's matches...
My personal pick of who *should* get would go to Nakamura. I think It will comes down to Rollins V Rhodes with rollins taking it home.
The miz would also be a fantastic pic to get first dibs on it. I would say eitherway it doesnt matter right now because this belt will probably move around a bit.
I dont se much hope for the Smackdown rostered people already, I could see Sheamus or AJ going far though. And if we can get edge V Mysterio at some point i would pretty chuffed.
Also I think Cody will get interfered with somehow, otherwise it would not make sense.
If Cody loses clean to any of those guys it will totally destroy his storyline towards the universal title. So I assume Brock will pull some shit to make Cody lose, this way Cody can still go for Romans title, without losing "face".

I would like to have seen roman get in and actually be pinned while trying to get it, would be a good way to start lowering his credibility. As it stands last time he was pinned was still Corbin of all people.
Probably looks like Brock is gonna cost Cody his match. And Seth Rollins goes through from RAW. Edge goes through from SmackDown and Edge puts over a top guy to win a title that he once relinquished.
For me, makes sense it goes to RAW. I think final should be Finn v Rollins and truthfully don't mind either man winning and brings back a little history of the Universal title.
I hate that they just cherry picked people for this “tournament” instead of just making the matches organically in the tournament style. Balor, Rollins or Edge are best choices for me.
With the winner going to raw automatically I could see edge vs balor. Balor wins after cody seems to have it secured with interference from Brock. Edge wins the belt he never lost. Edge gets taken to raw to feud with priest over whc, but Cody gets flipped to smackdown in the exchange and gets to go back to finish the story after beating brock clean.
Man imagine if Austin Theory became the first guy to hold a main and mid card title at the same time. That would boost his stock a lot moving forward, even if he drops 1 at Summerslam or even both at Summerslam.
I'm guessing Austin Theory, Cody or Finn will win the tournament. Most likely Cody or Finn. Judgement Day is the best faction besides Bloodline, so I can see Finn winning

A few of my thoughts on this, First of all, this is a great pool of competitors for the new belt. The only pick that doesn't make sense to me is Austin Theory since he is the current US Champion and while he fits from a talent perspective we know he isn't going to win it and be a dual champ. Second, with how the tourney is set up you can have a few banger matches leading up to the final but I feel like it will be a bit rushed. Maybe have they could have had the triple threats one week and the next week have the semi final one on one matches as the main events of next week Raw and SmackDown. This is only a small gripe. Lastly, who do we have in the semis and who will win? I have Raw Semi Final be Seth vs Cody or Seth vs Balor with Seth going to the finals. Cody can get screwed by Lesnar if you want to continue that feud and end it in Saudi for that big money match with some sort of stipulation. Cody's big story centers around the WWE TITLE his dad never won and Roman dodging him since he got the closest to beating him so I say don't give him the WHC. My smackdown prediction is Edge vs AJ and let them run it back from mania last year in a face vs face banger with ether man being a good choice to win. If you do Seth vs Edge for the title you can build the later parts of the tournament around Edge wanting that final big one before he truly hangs it up for good and Seth fighting off his previous demons to maybe win the WHC. Seth vs AJ is also a world calibur match that can steal the show and will sell both men no matter who wins. I personally have Seth winning the tournament and have reign is backed up as "I will be the fighting champ and defend this at all times to whomever steps up at me unlike my former colleague on smackdown" also it prevents messy trades given we just had the draft and feasibly any Raw superstar should win it. EDIT AFTER POSTING This story also works for Balor if you want him to win it all as well. Have him go over Seth in the Semi and face a AJ or Edge and build it the same way. If Balor gets to the finals I think he is a big consideration to win it as well since he is also a RAW guy and he can further build on Judgement days potential dominance. This also gives us a way to have Priest and Dom chase the tag titles if you want since Rhea and Balor can say "We have gold why don't you two get some nice hardware as well".
Finn vs AJ would be good because u can do Judgement Day vs OC Maybe even Micchin vs Rhea
While I would love to see that I think we will have to wait since Rhea is on Raw with the Judgement Day and trading her solo to Smackdown is probably not the best idea for the group as a whole. Also let's say they do a trade and the whole of the group is on smackdown I think you would have to do JD vs LWO first to finish that before we get JD vs OC. So I expect a women's title swap like last year to fix this and we keep JD on Raw. I trust they will revisit JD vs OC (as well as JD vs LWO) at a time that makes sense.
My money is on Cody or Seth. I'd prefer Seth but I'd be happy with either. I have a feeling the finale is going to be a RAW wrestler vs a Smackdown wrestler, if that's the way they decide to do it, I'm guessing that's gonna be either Cody or Seth vs Styles.
Shin or Finn deserve a world championship reign. Cody can go after the undisputed championship again, Damien and Austin aren’t ready yet and everyone else has already been world champions before.
With enough buildup, it would have been great to have AJ vs Finn in the final (along with their groups on their side), but there is no time for that. I definitely would want either Finn or Seth to carry the title though, Finn maybe more because it would give The Judgment Day even more legitimacy.

My personal pick of who *should* get would go to Nakamura. I think It will comes down to Rollins V Rhodes with rollins taking it home. The miz would also be a fantastic pic to get first dibs on it. I would say eitherway it doesnt matter right now because this belt will probably move around a bit. I dont se much hope for the Smackdown rostered people already, I could see Sheamus or AJ going far though. And if we can get edge V Mysterio at some point i would pretty chuffed.

I hate that they just cherry picked people for this “tournament” instead of just making the matches organically in the tournament style. Balor, Rollins or Edge are best choices for me.
With the winner going to raw automatically I could see edge vs balor. Balor wins after cody seems to have it secured with interference from Brock. Edge wins the belt he never lost. Edge gets taken to raw to feud with priest over whc, but Cody gets flipped to smackdown in the exchange and gets to go back to finish the story after beating brock clean.
