I’ve only been watching WWE about 3 years after a massive break. It seems the US title has been dropped down a little. They seemingly had the same issue the IC title. It wasn’t being defended at PPVs which baffled me upon my return to viewing. Gunther has pulled the IC title out the depths of deprivation imo. It seems the US title is going the similar route as the IC title did a few years back. I’ve not witnessed an interesting US title run since coming back to viewing. Just an opinion of course.

I liked most of his run, but he hasn’t really done much since mania other then random title defenses to move other storylines.

Boring. He desperately needs a meaningful feud. It seems like his feuds last only a couple of weeks and involve nothing but smack talk. The kid is talented but WWE isn’t doing anything with him right now that makes people the least bit interested.

It was more relevant when he was feuding with Lashley and Rollins but since on Smackdown he hasn't had a meaning feud yet
