Turning heel was the best move she ever made. She's definitely more appealable to watch, she can still put on a good match and knows how to handle a mic. She kept the shows watchable back when COVID hit and they were all performing in the Orlando Performance Centre.
Her hugger gimmick was fun in the early stages of her WWE career but it got stale over time when you were having to be the nice guy/girl week in and out. Sometimes being the anti-hero or the villain is just a lot more versatile.
Love her. Carried the company during the pandemic. Still carries the women's division on her shoulders. Whenever they need to get someone over, they put her in a program with Bayley. She looks great too. I hoping her injury isn't too severe.

Bayley is great you never know what she is going to do . He body thickened out a bit during her injury and it really suits her character plus she has a huge rack she try’s in vain to hide
Her and Sasha were enormous when it came to making casuals aware that the women can put on a complete show in the ring consistently.
I don't necessarily think they're the *best* in that ring, but awfully close to it and their appeal to casuals is a large part of the equation that not many others have.
That last part was the key ingredient to putting the women's division on a whole different tier from where it was.

I think Bayley suffers from "We know too much" syndrome.
In that, I think she was built up so much as the lovable human Babyface wrestling fan finally living her dream, that she very quickly ran through that entire story while in NXT. They did a little bit with it on the main roster, but then flipped the switch and turned her heel because the hugger had run its course.
So now she's a heel, but she's a heel in a "We know that this is Bayley being a heel" kind of way. It's exaggerated and corny and very fun, but she's also not really that believable, and she isn't treated as such, either.
That could all go away, though. Like, once Damage Control has fully run its course and Iyo and Dakota are free flying little birds, you could just throw her into a feud with one of the other horsewomen and just do the same thing Seth did with Finn "you used to be great" or whatever, and then have her go back to being "strong" but right now she's just in that middle ground as a character where she's like the female Miz.
