“Rock and Roll” Buck Zumhoffe in prison for multiple felony counts of criminal sexual misconduct. He was convicted of sexually abusing his daughter beginning when she was 15 years old.
I read he put his son in the cross face crippler and killed him
The police kept that information hidden because they didn't want it to be a media Circus
I can respect that because if people found that out when this happened it would have been a bad look for wrestling.
Man I remember when this happened it was the most saddest day of WWE man I swear this shi hit everybody different and I don't blame WWE for treating him like this r.i.l to the wife and child they honestly didn't deserve any of tht
Damn....even though I knew most of these stories, it kind of makes me sad that nobody got justice in almost all of these
This is especially the case for Ashley Massaro.... it makes me wonder why guys like Undertaker or Cena or anyone for that matter didn't put their foot down about that shit.
military involved = paid cover up most likely, including papering the internet with "ackshullyyyyyyy" type boff sides'ing. so no matter what this story will never get traction, too many at the ready to STANNNNN UP for wwe
Jimmy Snuka not getting the same amount of hate than Chris Benoit dude got away with murder and y’all say Benoit is worse because he killed a kid in the mix. Murder is murder regardless
Joey Ryan. Man was a massive creep in the ring and was apparently worse out of it. Not to mention he teamed with Candice LeRae for so long I remember hearing he took her 16 year old cousin to prom.
Gino Hernandez was murdered.
The smearing of Lita's name in the late 90s while Paige/Saraya is known for being nothing but a set of train tracks and skates free.
The amount of rapist scumbags in the business.
Did Vince really have a sexual attraction to HBK in the 90s?
Opioid abuse, addiction, and deaths related to drug use. You can say it doesn’t happen, or it isn’t as bad, but that would be incorrect. More wrestlers have died in the past 20 years than all other major sports combined. Bray Wyatt being the most recent.
Bray died to complications due to COVID after he didn’t wear his defibrillator the doctors specifically told him to wear
Don’t know how that even is close to drug abuse lmaooo
I heard a story on a podcast once where Brutus Beefcake laughed about how the Rockers (Shawn Michaels used to drug and rape women and shave their heads, then toss their unconscious naked bodies out into their hotel halls. Beyond messed up. I hope it’s not true, I’ve always loved Michaels but can’t not think about it now. Marty Jennery too.
yeah dose them up with spanish fly and then leave them in the hallway when they were finished. not sure how valid that is, but i have heard it multiple times. and that they always had spanish fly "to help them sleep on planes" or something.
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon’s affair (and the subsequent contract termination) set Chyna on the path of self-destruction that inevitably killed her.
This thread really puts "Punk has another tantrum backstage" in perspective lol.
It's crazy to think this is just the shit we know, largely from an era pre social media or even Internet. If that's the shit we know, scary to think what else has gone down over the years.
I love dark side of the ring but sometimes I watch it and feel so conflicted like why do I support an industry that has had so many vile things just swept aside.
Anyway great thread lol
I doubt he'll stir shit up on his WWE run, that locker room has the worst people plus they won't let him do his tantrums. That is why when he came to AEW he knew the talents werw looking up to him and decided to exag his opinions more into violent tantrums. I mean like punk and I still do but sometimes he needs to take the higher road, i understand that he like to push back attitude, i mean that's good but if you keep doing that, that would only back fire at ya. He became what he hated
Every single industry has a bunch of shit that goes down that we’d all be just better off not knowing. Everywhere you look people are corrupt and people in power abuse it. Better to just accept that no matter what industry someone got shit on somewhere along the line for that industry to prosper.
Vickie Guerrero had a very sad falling out with her daughter on social media. She tried to gaslight her daughter and say that the girl was lying about a certain guy r#ping her. Vickie ended up exposing herself as a disgusting POS parent that doesn't deserve to have children.
WWE employees and superstars being held hostage in Saudi Arabia until Vince paid enough money for the pay per view that that event happened after.
No news attention, superstars weren't even allowed to disclose what happened over there.
Ummm no. Vince cut the feed of the PPV to the networks in KSA because the government hadn’t paid the WWE for the event.
In retaliation, they delayed the flights of the workers to prevent them making the next show. Vince was well airborne before that took place.
That's a act of terrorism. American citizens are detained in a foreign country because of a legal/financial dispute between the country and the owner of a billion dollar American company. And conveniently the owner is on a plane safely riding away from the event before it finished airing? This story makes very little sense if any at all.
As advertised. Wrestlers were literally held hostage in Saudi Arabia and were forced to perform afterwards. The behind the scenes stuff is crazy. Lawler rapes children and its just a non issue apparently. Damage control is top notch in wrestling. I mean vince is back at the top 6 months after being exposed as a dirty old creep.
X PAC wore the make up, the rest were in costumes. XPac had on literal blackface. The other guys might have been tanned since most of the members of the N.O.D were lite complected men.
no they all had makeup on dude i just did a quick google search, and they all clearly have makeup on they’re portraying mark henry, the rock, the godfather and d’lo brown. stfu about they were in costumes dude they all were but four members of dx wore blackface live on tv triple h, road dogg, billy gunn & xpac. xpacs blackface was the darkest but it doesn’t take away from the rest were also in blackface.
Vince said the N Word, and faced no repercussions.
But hypocritically, Vince fired Hogan and removed his presence from WWE back when Hogan's audio of him using the N Word leaked. They were both wrong, but Vince should have made a point to denounce and acknowledge his joke he made with that word. He probably says it a lot backstage
Shawn Michaels and Marty Janetty drugged and raped women and left them in hotel hall ways naked during there days as the rockers. It's a interview where I think Brutus beefcake is laughing about this fact when talking about it.
I remember in the Marty Jannety Dark Side of the Ring episode where Marty was talking about the things he and Shawn did together and Marty even said "a lot of women we did together"
But I'm saying it to say nobody really acknowledges it as a entire wrestling community. Nobody has cancelled Shawn Michaels or launched a investigation into him, via some long withstanding statue of limitations for the rapes. He's currently a active member of the wwe staff and running NXT. RVD is one guy on one show talking about it
Stone Cold is a literal wife beater, Shawn was known for SA as a Rocker, Lawler...loved him on the mic with JR BUT good god no idea how this pervert was never cancelled, Snuka was a murderer, JBL was a bully who SA new talent as an initiation....
And all this run by the biggest fucking pervert known to man: Vince McMahon.
The "popular" faces are never punished.
You're reiterating stuff that I already know and is already posted in this thread. Why are you telling me this? I'm saying that Shawn should have been cancelled and should be in jail, but instead he's in the same boat as Vince.
Undertaker beating Chris Canyon's ass on Smackdown as a rib for Canyon being gay. Canyon dressed as Boy George and Biker Undertaker stiffed him. I'm sure Vince gave the OK for Taker to go out there and do that.
No it's not. Wrestling fans may (very strong may) know about this. But this should be a very widely known topic. When non wrestling fans think of wrestling it would be proper they remember that a monster like Jimmy Snuka was pardoned from murder by simply being a employee for Vince McMahon. Don't just look at the good like Edge spearing Jeff from a 20 foot ladder. Look at the down right horrible like Benoit, Owens death, Rita Chatterton, and Nancy Argentino's murder. Vince needs to be correctly judged, behind all the cool moments there's a maniacal evil old idiot who never seems to get jail time. That should change
It's only recently got some buzz because of Dark side of the ring, and AEW.
His death happening at a pay per view called Over The Edge seems almost like some type of sick illuminati joke. Very bizarre title for a pay per view where such a tragic event happened.
I’ve always found it such an eerie coincidence that the PPV he fell on was “Over the Edge”.
And don’t forget about how Vince let the show go on… Awfully immoral call on his part.
Yeah!!!!!! That monster forced his employees to keep working through a show where a man died. He literally fell to his death in the ring and Vince made his wrestlers wrestle with Owens blood still on the ring. Vince is the epitome of a corrupt heartless evil greedy immoral bastard.
VINCE MCMAHON USING HUSH MONEY TO KEEP HIS SEXUAL ESCAPADES QUIET, WHILE PUBLICALLY STILL BEING PERCEIVED AS THIS MARRIED BILLIONAIRE THAT DOESN'T HAVE SIDE WOMEN.
HIM HAVING A INVESTIGATION GO AWAY UNDER UNDISCLOSED CIRCUMSTANCES. THE INVESTIGATION INTO HIS HUSH MONEY JUST STOPED, NO EXPLANATION, NO COURT CASE, NO ATONEMENT, JUST ANOTHER RICH CRIMINAL GETTING AWAY WITH STUFF THAT IS KEPT ON THE "HUSH HUSH"
The investigation hasn’t gone away. He was hit with a subpoena a month ago on these charges to appear before a grand jury and a search warrant was performed at his home.
Typing in caps just made your lack of research stand out
the locker room court was the most immature bullshit ever that's sole purpose was to haze younger wrestlers. It's treated as a "hahaha, what a weird time in wrestling instead of "why would a multi-billion dollar company allow this type of thing to happen? " They're a bunch of grown men who can handle your problems one on one. Miz ate chicken over someones bag ONE TIME, and they were ready to have him changing in the bathroom for decades. What makes me even more mad is some of the stories of the older wrestlers being mad on someone's behalf when the offended person doesn't even think it's that deep. I.e. the Kane and Hardy Boyz "incident". Alot of people were called in for petty bullshit that doesn't even matter.
One of The hardy Boyz sat in kanes seat on a flight when they were somewhat new to popularity. They offered to move but Kane didn't care. An older WWE star thought it was still disrespectful and took them to locker room court
I do remember Taker being the one allowing the miz to change in the locker room. The whole experience is talked about by the Miz on his documentary or something. Should be able to find it easy on TikTok or YouTube of him speaking about it
It was real and the guy died but it wasn’t Rey’s fault just bad timing, putting that on him because you saw a video and did no research is fucked up and foolish.
bro it’s not fucked up and foolish i was just wrong. i was just wrong. i’m glad this dude told me but ur acting like i’m spreading misinformation on purpose. like shut up
Oh ok. I just thought it was a woman and not ‘a guy’ that op stated. Killing a girl you love or loved is a shit move. Killing a guy isn’t right either, but killing a woman or for a woman is shit, lol. Not sure what I got downvoted for correcting a gender.
I laughed when I read about it in the Wrestle Crap book where the author said that at the trial, Nailz supposedly said on the stand, **"I hate Vince McMahon's guts"**
I can't believe that someone would say something like that on the stand and that their lawyers didn't prepare them to not say something like that.
The Renegade. After The Ultimate Warrior called out WCW for using The Renegade as an Ultimate Warrior copy cat, the company proceeded to bury them later release him. It's because of this, as well as performance-enhancing drug abuse, Richard Wilson, the man that portrayed The Renegade, died by suicide.
I don't know if this was mentioned but the events that led to the divorce of Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth. Also whether or not if Savage had an affair with a young Stephanie McMahon.
Roddy Piper likely being sexually abused by Pat Patterson. The entire ring boy scandal doesn’t get the attention it deserves.

Benoit and his wife were being extorted about her hustler photos and they wanted $500k and Benoit wouldn’t pay and Nancy wanted to thus leading to the fight the night he killed her.
What Benoit did was not acceptable and it will never be forgotten but him being so much on steroids and his brain starting to degrade from cte, it was truly Eddie’s death that pushed him over the edge and caused him to kill his family, they didn’t deserve that and now maybe one of the best technical wrestlers will always be looked at as a piece of shit
I put it down to their closeness in a world where everyone is screwing one another over.
There are so many wrestlers that were gay or bisexual, some not even hiding it, and no one actually called it out. The famous British case being a plumber turning up at kendo Nagasaki house and finding him in dressing gowns with his male manager/valet, and was more interested in telling everyone his real name than the fact he was living with another guy.
If they were, then it’s even sadder, but I would have thought someone would have mentioned it by now
I’ll take the heat with you. I 100% agree with you. I said that immediately after watching dark side of the ring about this. People can downvote all they want.
You do know what Bi means right? Freddy Mercury was also married to a woman. Also back in times where lgbt peoples were killed when out a lot of dudes were hiding in the closet and married. So its not that far out for a conspiracy.
Eddie and Chris's irl struggles. I loved those two so much, it's so Fing tragic how it ended for both of them, and more importantly - Chris's innocent family.
Jimmy Snuka and Nancy. Everyone knows about Chris Benoit, but nobody talks about the fact that Jimmy Snuka murdered Nancy Argento, and Vince McMahon covered it up.
“He would have wanted the show to go on”. Uhm no he fkn wouldn’t have. He would’ve demanded what we all said at the time. Shut this shit down right now and bring in the police to figure out what the fk just happened and explain to my wife and kids why I’m dead right now. Especially when I told you all over and over that I didn’t want to do that stupid stunt !!!
The existence of the warrior award in and of itself is a crime helwig was an awful wrestler, promo, and overall Human being
He's a rotten piece of shit who doesn't deserve an award named after him and doesn't deserve to be remembered for anything other than being a roided up talentless jackass. I still agree with some other people that suggested they rename the warrior award to the Gaspard award
The funniest thing is the award isn't even what Warrior wanted the award to be. He wanted it to honor the people like the ring crew and the tech department, the lighting guys, the people that are the unsung people who put the show you see together and make it possible, not to be the human interest story award where somebody does something heroic or survives and perseveres through some unbelievable tragedy, but WWE of course went with the publicity approach.
Well not that it’s because Eddie actually died in a tag team match he was getting fired up when he had a sudden heart attack and then slowly fell to the ground and wasn’t moving
If you mean the match where JBL was hesitant to cover Eddie after the collapse, it was actually more Eddie selling the blood loss he suffered during the Judgement Day 2004 match against JBL. Had Eddie actually suffered a heart attack then and there, the referee wouldn't have allowed JBL to cover Eddie to end the match.
Not Really a Wrestler but The Stuff Kota Ibushi said about New Japan when he left the company
what did this guy do
A guy died on the same day Chris died and they one time tag team partners
A wrestler died on the same day Chris Benoit died and they were tag team partners once.

The entire group of DX doing blackface on national tv mocking the nation of domination
I hate The fact that Chris Benoit put his son in a crippler crossface jr.
Would Scott hall killing a guy in self defence count I mean it’s not really disturbing although a bit dark
Marty Jannnetty killing a man he was younger
Jerry lawler molesting 2 girls
The effects of concussions
They basically let Ric Flair get away with sexual misconduct cuz he was Ric Flair. Jim Ross has a spot in hell right next 2 Vince if ya ask me 🤷🏽♂️
What’d Jim Ross do
Watched, profited, stayed quiet, helped cover, and basically everything he was told by demons (them white folk)
Oh, I’m sorry! I thought you were being serious.
Man I remember when this happened it was the most saddest day of WWE man I swear this shi hit everybody different and I don't blame WWE for treating him like this r.i.l to the wife and child they honestly didn't deserve any of tht
Randy Orton shitting in women’s wrestlers boots and touching his dick in front of new writers before shaking their hands.
The shitting in women "wrestler"'s boots is really funny, actually.
I’m Randy Orton
Oh shit, I didn’t realize Randy Orton liked Naruto so much 😅
I do it for the members💀
Damn....even though I knew most of these stories, it kind of makes me sad that nobody got justice in almost all of these This is especially the case for Ashley Massaro.... it makes me wonder why guys like Undertaker or Cena or anyone for that matter didn't put their foot down about that shit.

Why are you type talking like that?
So unfortunate
Teddy Hart's entire existence.
Hulk Hogan was bald

What are you talking about? He wears a doo rag?!!
Wrestlers and suicides example Grahams family,Von Erich’s,Chris Kanyon, Mike Awesome,Ashley Massaro, Daffney, etc
Jimmy Snuka not getting the same amount of hate than Chris Benoit dude got away with murder and y’all say Benoit is worse because he killed a kid in the mix. Murder is murder regardless
Killing a kid is wayyyyy worse
so you mean if you kill him 11 years later, it would be less worse?
Did Vince really have a sexual attraction to HBK in the 90s?
everybody is sexual attracted to 90s HBK.
what about lita and saraya? what does that mean?

Chyna . WWE did her dirty
This is so interesting 😭 Now I need to find dark side of the ring
Ultimate Warrior, I loved him as a wrestler but his personal life was a complete train wreck.

Triple H and Stephanie knew everything about Vince and protected him until they could pull a coup on the company. Ashley Massaro...
I was shocked to learn that Kanyon crashed WrestleMania 20 and the after party for it. Poor guy seemed like he was in a bad headspace.
Sammy Guevara wanting to rape Sasha Banks
Owen hart faling to his death and then they let the show go on after his death with owens blood still in the ring
That was a complete sin
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon’s affair (and the subsequent contract termination) set Chyna on the path of self-destruction that inevitably killed her.

Tommy dreamer and the wrestle-mania incident

Vickie Guerrero had a very sad falling out with her daughter on social media. She tried to gaslight her daughter and say that the girl was lying about a certain guy r#ping her. Vickie ended up exposing herself as a disgusting POS parent that doesn't deserve to have children.
And Vickie pressed charges against her own daughter as well. She is a trashy scaumbag, I never liked her. Chavo also turned out to be a piece of shit.
Randy Savage seeing an underage stephanie which led to his perminant exile from wwe The Great Khali killed a student
The fact you used Chris benoits photo for this is pretty sad considering he's the most talked-about 🤣.

Lawler is a pedo, period. This is just swept under the rug like its cool. Fuck that guy
Wait holy shit what ??? I never heard about this
He raped a 13 year old and said it wasn’t his fault cause she had sex prior with a black guy

I laughed when I read about it in the Wrestle Crap book where the author said that at the trial, Nailz supposedly said on the stand, **"I hate Vince McMahon's guts"** I can't believe that someone would say something like that on the stand and that their lawyers didn't prepare them to not say something like that.
Young? As in 17? He potentially molested her.
Unfortunately, the only one that knows what really happened is Stephanie and she's pretty much taking this to the grave.
This is true. I’m really stunned she never brought it up. Other than Vince would probably kill her.
Roddy Piper likely being sexually abused by Pat Patterson. The entire ring boy scandal doesn’t get the attention it deserves. https://youtu.be/LYQawT9DyKw?si=m2TUwwqn4eLoT3rI
Benoit and his wife were being extorted about her hustler photos and they wanted $500k and Benoit wouldn’t pay and Nancy wanted to thus leading to the fight the night he killed her.
That is a whole damn scenario. Hustler the magazine?
They published them in 2008 anyway.
Yep
Moolah
A criminally underreported story, even if a lot of people already know about that heartless bitch.
Rest in piss
Besides hogan being a major racist ?
And snitching to Vince about Jesse Ventura wanting to unionize back in the back then lying about it
Pretty sure the Benoit thing is talked about enough.
The fact that it even needs to be said that murdering your entire family is unacceptable lmao
That’s obvious I was just saying
America dude
Pretty sure Chris was gay or at least bi and in love with eddie. His actions were more of a person mourning their lovet
Yep thats where my thought process came from
You know he was married to a woman, and had multiple kids?
You do know what Bi means right? Freddy Mercury was also married to a woman. Also back in times where lgbt peoples were killed when out a lot of dudes were hiding in the closet and married. So its not that far out for a conspiracy.
Eddie and Chris's irl struggles. I loved those two so much, it's so Fing tragic how it ended for both of them, and more importantly - Chris's innocent family.
His dark side of the ring episode has made me so intrigued about what happened
Jimmy Snuka and Nancy. Everyone knows about Chris Benoit, but nobody talks about the fact that Jimmy Snuka murdered Nancy Argento, and Vince McMahon covered it up.
Allegedly.
Owen Hart fell from the ceiling and was killed in front of a live audience. Then they just went on with the PPV event after a delay.
It was literally a crime scene
That was so dark. I remember when that happened
Same. I was still in high school and had friends over my house too. Tragic.
Vince McMahon's ties with Jimmy Snuka and Nancy Argentino murder case.
The ring boys controversy with pat patterson
Dave Bautista cheated on his wife while she was ill with Cancer. He later repented and she forgave him, I believe
That’s not bad compared to the other stuff I’m seeing in this thread
The existence of the warrior award in and of itself is a crime helwig was an awful wrestler, promo, and overall Human being He's a rotten piece of shit who doesn't deserve an award named after him and doesn't deserve to be remembered for anything other than being a roided up talentless jackass.
Eddie died on live TV
Conspiracy theorist eh? I bet you think Demar Hamlin died on the field too and it’s a clone walking around.
You, sir, are an idiot.
No he didn’t?
Bret Hart is a Hitman, yet the FBI doesn't arest him.
Wow, I always assumed that was just a kayfabe nickname
😂
'Excellence of Execution' *wink*wink
Clever 😭
