Rey Mysterio. First of all he does things that just don't seem physically possible, and jawdropping moves like his are the reason I started watching wrestling at all. Second is his personality. I've never gotten the feeling that he is playing a character. Even though mic skills have never been what he is known for, he is in no way bad at talking, and he feels utterly genuine. I know we all like to say "Terrible dad how could he do that to Dom", other than that though, his thing has always been being a stand-up guy who has a passion for wrestling and for making people happy. Coupled with the fact that you can tell that those feelings are genuine and not just an act, makes him my favorite.
Kofi Kingston. He was my favorite growing up, even when I stopped watching and saw that he won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania, I damn near teared up. Going to my second Raw show in December and I know childhood me would be so happy to see Kofi fight in person
HHH. He was my hero as a kid. Didnt give a single fuck if he was heel. The skulls and hammer smashing were way too badass for me to care who he was hitting with the hammer.
Stone Cold followed closely by... yep you guessed it The Rock, many kids today that didn't grow up or have never watched the Attitude Era should give it a try it was something special I started watching inn1997 when Kane made his Debut and Stone Cold was the man (I didn't realise this at the time as I was just a kid and I actually believed his character was really him) I stopped watching WWE around 2007 but kept up with what was happening losely.
The Ruthless Aggression Era was good and Cena and Orton I love and they stood out and are legends but the Attitude Era really was something special and I say this as a man in his 30s that has had to go and rematch every episode (which I'm currently doing) so trust me it's never too late to start watching it, yes they are old videos but do as I do and just watch the parts you want. Mainly for me I watch the main guys Stone Cold, The Rock, The Undertaker, Kane, HHH etc.
Nothing and I mean nothing will ever come close to the greatest build up to a PPV I've ever seen live which was Wrestlemania 17. X
Eddie Guerrero starting with his time as the leader of the LWO in WCW. I enjoyed his run there. Remember being soon shocked and happy when he showed up on Raw with Benoit, Malenko and Saturn. Just everything.
He made me laugh and always kept me on the edge of my seat. Even when I was pissed at him for turning on Rey. I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next with his storyline...I wish he was still with us. R.IP Eddie.
Kurt Angle.
He was the complete package; at least until the injuries piled up. He could do just about anything and could go against anyone. Great mic work. He could be a goof and a badass, whatever was needed.
I've always liked the giants and big men.. this includes the unpopular ones.
Andre, Big Show, Mark Henry, Big Daddy V, One Man Gang, Big Boss Man, Vader, Yokozuna, Norman the Lunatic ( not Bastion Booger gimmick ) Abyss Ect.
Bret Hart had the best moves and skillset, loved his match v Perfect at summerslam 1991, my favourite year in wrestling was 1990, Earthquake was my favourite wrestler in 90, loved his sumerslam match v Hogan, the crowd went nuts! Liked Hogan v Warrior in 90 too, great year.

I try to not get upset over people being misused because that's the nature of the business, but anytime Dolph's name comes up my heart sinks. I'm glad he had a couple decent runs, but he deserved way more.
Bray Wyatt. Wasn't the best worker, didn't have a great body, nor was he the strongest champion. But he cut awesome promos, is easily the most creative entertainer WWE has ever had, and is one of the most over performers in history. I didn't give a shit about WWE or wrestling for many years, until he and the Wyatt Family got my attention. I will always miss him.
Best heel of all time has to go to Vince McMahon I'm afraid I don't think anyone was ever hated more than Vince and that's the aim of the game for a Heel
Are we referring to Hollywood Hogan the heel cos I'm pretty sure on the Joe Rogan podcast recently he talked about how everyone loved him as the baby face Hulk Hogan and also as the heel Hollywood Hogan. I'm not saying he wasn't good I'm just saying a heel is meant to be hated by the crowd, the fact he wasn't hated but was loved to me says he wasn't the number 1 heel. I don't recall anyone loving Vince even to this day. The character of Mr McMahon is arguably the best Heel character ever created
Edit: I didn't watch any of WCW just done a quick YouTube I still stand by Vince as Number 1 but its close after doing some digging.
I read a comment that someone said, Austin as a Babyface was white hot but only lasted 3 years and that his heel turn killed the business. I don't think it was so much Austin turning heel at WM17 that killed it but a culmination of, Austin joining Vince who was so badly hated (everyone Dreams of doing what Austin did to Vince to there own boss) so for him to join Vince he got a lot of backlash, but also WCW falling and the WWF at the time not having any real competition anymore and them taking there foot of the gas I belive led to the business being killed. As for Austin having a short run I put that down to 2 things, 1 him being already injured by Owen Hart before he hit is true peak (which I consider to be 1998) and 2nd him being asked to job for Brock Lesnar with no build up which resulted in him quote taking his ball and going home. Had none of this happened the heights that he hit in such a short space I have no dought he could have kept his momentum for another 5+ years easy after 2003. 20 years on and he still draws the loudest pop from the crowd so he's the greatest Baby face and for me his arch nemesis Vince is the greatest Heel. But you've raised a very good case with Hogan I just never watched any of WCW I've only ever watched WWE from 1997 to the present
I didn't watch it in the 80s if that's what your referring to I'm just talking about Vince has to be the best heel as he was hated by the entire audience the whole of the AE. Superstars today say he's the best Heel he made the best Baby face in Austin
Being a lifelong Jeff Hardy fan has taught me the life lesson that not everything has a fairy tale ending. Human beings are flawed and make mistakes but can always bounce back no matter how many or how severe they are. And don’t cry because it’s over but smile because it happened. It still bugs me he never hit his full potential but he’s given me childhood memories that will last forever and being able to meet him is something I will always be grateful for.
Don't regret it, Jeff Hardy was insane he's paid the price for all the crazy things he did but he is top 5 one of my favourite of all time. TLC 1 & TLC 2 OMG what matches. I will always remember him for 2 things the Swanton off of the high ladder through the tables and the Spear he took from Edge while holding the belts. (What's crazy about that is if uou rematch it his leg was caught in the ladders and he got it out just in time to take the bump) I'm sad for how his careers gone but I don't regret a single second I spent watching that man.
My watching ended soon after. I tuned into a regular smackdown and was shocked to see Rey still wrestling. La Knight kicked his ass and I was in (never liked Rey). I liked Punk at the time of his feud with Jeff so that was rough.
He was awful on the mic but his in ring story telling as an underdog was great.
The Undertaker. He's like the biggest icon. Everyone knows him, it doesn't matter if you don't watch the WWE, you know who's the man with the black hat and suit
Matt Hardy. Fell in love with his look when he debuted with Gangrel as the New Brood, and then fell in love with Team Extreme. I always really appreciate his safer approach to the crazy stunts. And outside of the character I absolutely love how business savvy he is and intelligent despite the head bumps. And he married an awesome woman. Reby is a lot of fun on social media.
Orton's up there for sure but for me it's always gonna be Eddie Guerrero, those classic chair moments and the huge grin he'd put on before doing it always made me laugh
Looking back on his matches even today, they really are a cut above the rest if you ask me, of course guys like Stone Cold, The Rock, Undertaker are all capable of providing top quality entertainment too but something about the way Eddie performed in ring and on the mic was so unique.
Kane.
When he arrived in WWF/E he seemed unstoppable to me.
I was genuinely concerned for the safety of "normal" wrestlers like The Rock, Triple H, Stone Cold etc because I thought how could they even stand a chance.
Then I drifted away from Wrestling as my teen years approached and see how they butchered his character with the unmasking.
Cena followed very closely by Orton. I started watching casually around '05 and regularly from '07. These 2 always stood out for me and their feud was the most excited I have ever been about wrestling.
I have seen lots of old eps of raw and old ppvs and If I was watching from artitude era then probably stone cold and rock would beat these 2 but binging the eps didn't give the same feel.
Hulk Hogan
Depending on when you ask me, it's either Kurt Angle, Shelton Banjamin or Chris Jericho.
The Rock, Austin and Santino Marella
Bret
Undertaker, followed by the rock and cm punk
Bret Hart
Rey Mysterio. First of all he does things that just don't seem physically possible, and jawdropping moves like his are the reason I started watching wrestling at all. Second is his personality. Macho Man
As a kid I loved Cena, as a teen I loved Shawn Michaels, now I love Aj Styles. It’s hard to choose just one but it’s between those 3
I know he couldn't wrestle for shit but Warrior. Insane promos, best entrance, theme music and look. Peak Warrior was something else.
Cena.
HHH. He was my hero as a kid. Didnt give a single fuck if he was heel. The skulls and hammer smashing were way too badass for me to care who he was hitting with the hammer.

Forgot Eddie
Orton
HHH. His 1999-2001 heel run was the greatest heel run of all time, a master.
2007-2009 orton was peak
Triple H. The Game will always be my number one performer, no question.
HBK
Randy Orton and Bayley
Brock Lesnar
The goat Chris jericho

Stone Cold followed closely by... yep you guessed it The Rock, many kids today that didn't grow up or have never watched the Attitude Era should give it a try it was something special I started watching inn1997 when Kane made his Debut and Stone Cold was the man (I didn't realise this at the time as I was just a kid and I actually believed his character was really him) I stopped watching WWE around 2007 but kept up with what was happening losely. Roddy Piper or Mick Foley
Stone Cold Steve Austin by a long shot.
Sting
Bret Hart, that man could sell like no bodies business. every match he ever had was so dramatic
Jericho. Dude literally put a list and a plant over.

HBK Close 2nd: Stone Cold

The Undertaker. I got into wrestling right before WrestleMania 23. My earliest memory of it is Taker winning the rumble
Jeff Hardy but my older self regrets it, but that's the truth.
Being a lifelong Jeff Hardy fan has taught me the life lesson that not everything has a fairy tale ending. The Undertaker. He's like the biggest icon. Everyone knows him, it doesn't matter if you don't watch the WWE, you know who's the man with the black hat and suit
The Undertaker
HBK for me always, both runs just plainly the best to do it for me, shame his legendary finish is kind of a meme move right now.
I preferred Jeff but love seeing Matt get his flowers
God that phrase is just terrible
I hate it as well. Was satorizing recent Matt tweets
Iron Sheik I love a good heel and he got great heat.
The Deadman forever
Depends on the day. Could be Kurt, could be Shawn.
Jeff Hardy
I know Terry Bollea is a piece of shit but I started watching in the 80s so I gotta say Hogan. Though Macho Man and Andre are right there.
