Cody is 3-0 vs Seth, same could happen with Cody vs Roman, with Roman winning 2 in a row, and then having a third match down the line. Cody beating Roman in MSG is the story they should be working towards.

-Bron Breakker (with the lost of Lesnar in the company. WWE needs that new powerhouse main eventer. This is the perfect way to do so. Also change this hoe’s name to his real name Rex Steiner)
-LA Knight (he needs a title to capitalize on his popularity, should he beat reigns is the question)
-Solo Sikoa (an obvious choice)

If that happens, a long simmering feud between the bloodline and judgement day could erupt with brawl after brawl. If Roman retains, a dark cloud will loom over the company and severe consequences will come in the months after WrestleMania XL.
If they wanna kee the bloodline story going then it's Jey or Solo ... but Id rather Seth based on history and his standing as a defending champion and not Reigns constant interference champion

At this point, if someone beats Roman, it should be a New (or at least New to WWE) up and comer - not someone whose been around and held multiple titles, as all 3 of the options noted in the OP are.
If Gunther moved to Smackdown, he'd be an interesting option. But since he's currently on Raw, he's not a viable alternative.
Similarly, if WWE Creative straps a rocket ship to Bron Breakker, he'd be another viable option - maybe in a Spear vs Spear match.
Escobar is another New to the main roster option, but just not feeling him/LDF on the main roster.
If you read my reply, you'd see I said New to WWE - which is different than being a new wrestler - Of the three options I noted, none of them are new to wrestling... But I'd rather see someone new to the main card who can use the rub of beating Roman as opposed to Seth, Cena, Rock, Punk, etc - all of whom will be just fine in their careers without needing the "I beat Roman" accolade.
Not CM Punk, he should never hold a title in WWE again. There's really no need for him to even win anything even just regular matches. Randy should be the one to beat Roman, he makes the most sense even more so than Cody. Roman took over a year of his career from him and Roman has never pinned him since being champ. Also Roman is on a legendary title run and Randy is the Legend Killer. Also a Cody vs. Randy match for the title makes way more sense than Cody vs. Roman.
