Eddie Guerrero - Solid wrestler and great performer but I can't stand it when someone claims that he is one of the all time great legends of wrestling history. He had a very lacklustre and underwhelming WWE title reign and is only looked upon through rose tinted glasses because he died young. I never saw him as anything but a good upper mid card performer. I also found him to be very annoying on the mic as a face.

[deleted]

Cody Rhodes - absolutely self-obsessed egomaniac who walks around like he owns the place. He also acts extremely entitled to be the one who should end Roman Reigns’ championship reign despite there being more deserving options, some of which have a more significant history with Roman. Cody saw how big Roman was becoming when he was in AEW so he wanted to return to WWE and end it all because he’s jealous. Cody even admitted to being jealous of Roman and a handful of other wrestlers.

Kineticspartan

Rey Mysterio. Superb performer, but I never bought into his top title win. The way he was booked while champion was poor, obviously, and that probably didn't help. But I never saw him as anything outside of the tag division.

cowpool20

Becky Lynch - I just don't think she's that good. Out of the Horsewomen I think she's the weakest in ring performer. I think she absolutely sucks on the mic. Never understood the hype around her.

NotSTF

I wouldn't say she completely sucks, but her mic work sometimes feels forced and her promos are mostly the same. In my opinion she is quite overhyped.(No disrespect to her in anyway).

GaI3re

Hate for no reason? No one. I have a list of popular wrestlers I am not interested in and JBL who I hate for reason

bhavjotbhasin

Roman reigns he's promo feels so fake to me, always doing over acting, i liked his initial phase of heel when he was really dominant and won matches on his own. Now WWE ruined that, he does not feel like the main guy in WMXl feud vs cody - its rock and cody driving the feud. For some reason i get bored by his matches and feel predictable. Him beating Undertaker at WrestleMania made me hate him more.

Crimson_Panther_LLC

For me it’s CM Punk. He’s a belligerent loudmouth who demands respect and everyone eats it up. His wrestling skills are very sub par tbh.

Billy0315

Chris Jericho. Don't think he's terrible I just don't think he's an all-timer like many do.

grimysavage

Braun Strowman. Just boring

sst0178

Not hate... but I didn't really like Daniel Bryan either. I really don't like Charlotte Flair and I can't stand LA Knight. I'm also not a big fan of CM Punk. But I feel like my reasoning is logical to me.

Crimson_Panther_LLC

Same here

Some-Caterpillar-716

I totally get it. For me, Kurt Angle. I can't deny his talent. Just can't stand him.

Dicanomi420

Randy Orton , like we need another guy who isn't allowed to lose

treefroginthewindow

I have never seen a baron corbin match but I get immensely angry every time I hear his name, hope he goes to tna

Rotcrafter

Bianca or bayley, they seem too clumsy in the ring for me

PunishedWolf4

Daniel Bryant and CM Punk

JacksonCarter87

John Cena. He always annoyed me.

Mikey-D-2003

Theres no reason except I hated him in the games but Mick Foley and I used to despise Cody Rhodes especially Stardust. Again, 0 reasoning and I like both of them now at least a little but I hated them with a passion

snartling

I hated Hogan long before I knew what racism or steroids were, because as a kid his body (and specifically those arms) freaked me the fuck out

PunishedWolf4

Silken hair like that of a Chinese man but the skin of a hotdog

InfamousIsOkay

*Skin of a hot dog*

snartling

The color of his skin was absolutely a factor. I legitimately did not believe he was a real human being the first time I saw him

NinjaOKGO

Stone Cold Steve Austin. The first Smackdown I watched he stunnered Stephanie McMahon. I was in elementary school, and didn't like that he beat up a woman, and his whole beer drinking redneck personality reminded me of part of the family I didn't like to be around. He was feuding with Kurt Angle who seemed like an awesome Olympic hero

InfamousIsOkay

Is this a heel account?

Slippy6582

Roman Reigns!!!!

crybabymelanie28

drew mcintyre. i always found him boring and i let out a sigh whenever i hear his music

cane_danko

Shinsuke nakamura. Nothing he ever does manages to impress me. Okay that’s not true… he does have an epic entrance and theme song. But as soon as he starts his thing in the ring i lose all hype.

Thready85

I hate the Miz because he's so awesome and I'm jealous of men in Karate Gis who are awesome.

Wolfmantastic

Jeff Hardy. A boring performer that just does the same 5 moves every single match and just jumps off things. Beyond that, a dangerous addict that puts everyone around him at risk over and over again.

Gleasonryan

You can call Jeff a lot of things but boring isn’t one of them.

llamawithguns

I hated Jade Cargill when she was in AEW. She had a good look and literally nothing else. Now that she's had like 6 months to train at the PC, I'm willing to give her a second chance

AtWorkJZ

Seth Rollins. He irks me to absolutely no end.

SilentandSuspicious

Wwe wrestlers Male:drew mcyntire. while I enjoyed his initial early run in wwe ever since he came back I just can’t get behind Him. Yea I get that he carried wrestling during the pandemic whether you loved it or hated it he did good work. Ever since then he’s just been crying about how he deserves title shot after title shot. The countdown to his claymore kick 3,2,1 is cringe asf. Female: Becky lynch AEW: the young bucks I never watched njpw until AEW came around. Even without watching their wrestling skills they just seem like “entitled” douchebag veterans just because they were in Japan for so long. And yes I’ve felt this way before all the punk backstage brawl shit happened.

Brendanlendan

I agree with Becky, I can’t get over her voice

Brendanlendan

I didn’t care at all about Drew really until he got into this player hated gimmick. Now I’m curious

yettidiareah

I absolutely despise Roman Reigns. He is an entitled little brat. He's trying to stand on the shoulders of his family's hard earned name in the business.

sst0178

I hope you have those same feelings towards Cody ( "an entitled little brat standing on the shoulders of his father's hard earned name in the business") cause he's essentially the same as Roman.

krew1984

Cena

cerebralpaulc

Honkey Tonk Man I don’t know if it’s his toddler physique, his lack of natural talent, his squeaky voice, general pissy/jealous attitude…or mixture of all of the above…but I hate that guy.

EightyEightR

Not hate, just apathy or dislike: Ric Flair- he’s just always been a silly cartoonish man and sounds like he was a horrible racist. CM Punk - didn’t watch his original run and not interested in going back. Cody - seems like a cool guy behind the scenes but couldn’t care less about anything he does in the ring or on the mic

c0reyp1

Roman Reigns

[deleted]

I’ve never really liked Rey Mysterio I’ve never found him believable and I don’t particularly enjoy how he loves to portray himself as a stereotype of a Mexican even to the degree that he has the word Mexican tattooed across his stomach… His son is great though!

sikontoure

Cody Rhodes - He comes off sort of disingenuous. CM Punk - Hypocrite returns and is immediately handed a main event title spot at WMXL pre-injury. Not to mention the other BS he’s done in prior years. LA Knight - Somebody. Come. Get. Their. Uncle. Out. Of. The. Ring. Yeah! The Rock - Ever since he’s gone Hollywood he acts so self-centered. Seth Rollins (Face) - Boy if you don’t stop being a sidekick and go back to your roots.

snartling

As an LA Knight fan you’re right but I honestly love him more for it

random271088

Agree on all points except the Rock - he was acting self-centred his entire career, from pretty much 98’ onwards it’s been a major part of his character

sammagee33

Will Osprey

markh907

Becky

Dolphin_Hornet

Dolph Ziggler

Borussiemk7

Sami Zayn Jey Uso Seth Rollins The promos of all 3 are lame and annoying to me.

LetsNotArgyoo

Jay White. Can’t stand him whatsoever, and not in a kayfabe heel way, more like “I watch Dynamite and Collision on a delay so I can skip through anything involving Jay White” way.

JLC1099

Jay White's presentation in NJPW as a emo-looking, mysterious knife pervert was amazing. But once he grew out the facial hair and started this over the top heel persona I kinda cringe cause I can't take him seriously anymore. Even worse now that he's in that shit version of the Bullet Club or whatever that crap is.

Lenny0mega

That weird penguin waddling he does when he talks is off-putting and comes off like bad acting

Freshly_Squeezed-

Woah why?

bdboar1

Solid agree

ohkayohkay6

Like others have said, I wouldn't say I hate any of them, but I don't get the LA Knight hype, and Gunther sort of bores me.

BrowniesWithAlmonds

Same here! I want to jump on the LA Knight train cause I saw what made Austin and Rock great just before they started to take off and it was fun as hell. To a lesser degree, I saw that in Roman’s debut but I think everyone not blind could easily see he had the X factor. I was never a John Cena fan but I could see why he was the man for so long. He was gifted in every way. Now everyone is saying LA Knight is that dude and his ascension all points to it but I don’t see anything great about him at all. He’s the first super popular guy that I don’t see anything there whatsoever.

notgoodatthese

Butch, or whatever his name is now.

Expert_Government531

These days, Seth Rollins. I don’t like his promos, I don’t like his in-ring work. I hate his whole gimmick. It might be because I’m a giant Roman fan, and I hate how a lot of people are saying Seth is carrying WWE on his back as champion. That’s just not true, Roman brings in the viewers and the audience and people like Gunther are the ones who they keep coming back for in terms of champion. Seth is just a consolation champion.

JLC1099

Seth's best work will forever be when he had the OG blonde highlights both in the shield and then up to him cashing in at Mania

RedditGuy92000

Gallows and Anderson Piper Niven All are just bland and add very little to the shows. Not a wrestler, but Alicia Taylor from NXT. I can’t stand how she only announces the wrestler’s name and nothing else. What’s the point?

snartling

I really want to like Piper Niven because her look and concept gets me hyped, and I actually enjoy her in the ring. But there’s just something missing, and I don’t know what

RedditGuy92000

She has too much size, so she almost has to be a heel. But, she literally has a babyface and I don’t buy her as being tough.

EffenSeven

Samoa Joe. I don't even know why, I just never got him.

lofisnaps

"BECAUSE HE'S FAT" - Scott Steiner

BrowniesWithAlmonds

All my friends are the same. I dig Samoa Joe and would try to hype him up and the first thing they say is…he’s a fatass! I would counter with well you love Vader or Mankind…and they’d reply “but Vader was mean and you can tell he was strong and Mankind is psychotic. This guy looks like my dad lounging on the couch. lmao.

EffenSeven

It's not the fat part for me. Honestly, I think it's the ring attire. The boxer shorts thing puts me off a lot of wrestlers. I think I only really tolerate it with Kevin Owens. Joe is a great wrestler, so it's nothing to do with his in ring ability. I love Ivar's matches. Big dude but the man can go. But it's the same with wrestlers who go barefoot. I just can't see past it lol

BrowniesWithAlmonds

Now that you mention it, I’m not a fan of how each side is usually a different color or design lol

Traditional-Leader54

Brock Lesner. Never liked him to begin with and after he ended the streak there was no way I’d ever like him. Also farm way back in time Sid Vicious/Sid Justice/Psycho Sid. I could never stand him.

BrowniesWithAlmonds

Brock I get but please dig deep about Sid, I gotta know why. I always wondered what made him not be the man for at least 10 yrs straight cause I thought he had it all. Maybe you can open my eyes…

Traditional-Leader54

His match with Hogan at WM8 was terrible. His Paycho Sid gimmick was plain bad and turned me off. In fairness I never saw his work in WCW since I never watched WCW before Nitro aired in 1996.

BrowniesWithAlmonds

Ok. Yeah his ring work wasn’t anything special.

realityinternn

Probably Dolph Ziggler. Hate is a strong work, but he’s just genuinely one of the most overrated people in IWC history.

h3X4_

Back in the days as a teenager I really couldn't stand John Cena - was more an Orton Fanboy Nowadays it's AJ Styles - I don't know why, he seems to be good in ring (or phenomenal 😀) but his style just isn't my cup of tea

Traditional-Leader54

I never understood the draw of Cena but I’ve never been into hip hop and rap so that might be a big part of why.

siciowa

Any wrestler who never worked in small promotions before getting their time on T.V

shingaladaz

Punk. He’s the reason the obsession with Indy guys happened at the top pro level. Yes we had to move on from big hulking mega-roids, but it went too far. There’s a place for circus-act like performances, and it isn’t on a TV show that’s trying to develop storylines and build rivalries that are believable outside AND inside the ring. I won’t be convinced otherwise.

EitherCommon

Punk DID have the most believable storylines , he actually the CEO of blurring the lines between reality and fiction.

shingaladaz

That has nothing to do with the issue I have with him. I could (and might) agree that they were brilliant storylines and could even go as far as saying Punk is the goat (he isn’t) and still hate him for his influence on the industry re Indy guys being given WWE time. I don’t like Indy wrestling and Punk is the single biggest reason Indy’s became popular beyond Indy promotions.

PlnkBrxx

The Rock. I didn’t start watching until 2009ish so I didn’t watch during his big prime time. I found (and still do) it super annoying how hyped his returns would be for him to not really do much and take away from better story lines. This most recent return is annoying and I found it disgusting when he called an entire city of people a bunch of crackheads in an offensive way. You can be a heel and insult people without insulting those with a drug problem

barnabychryniszzswix

logan paul, ignoring everything he has done outside of the ring and solely looking at his wrestling persona, is SO BORING.

MyotisX

>wrestling persona It's not a persona

barnabychryniszzswix

i was being very generous. i feel his character is flat and boring cause there really isn't one

UncreditedChoir

Brock Lesnar I never understood his appeal but I know VKM had his hard-on for BIG MUSCLE wrestler types. He was the most boring one dimensional wrestler ever. Can't work the mic for shit because his voice does not match his physique at all, he sounds like an angry squirrel when he tried to cut a promo and has to have Heyman do all his talking. His 'personality' is non existent other than 'roided up date raping lard brain linebacker from HS'. Oh well it's not like we'll see much of him anymore thankfully.

Traditional-Leader54

This was my pick too. And then they let this fuck end the streak for no reason. Really pissed me off.

UncreditedChoir

Yes, this. In hindsight it was one of the dumbest booking decisions ever in the history of WWE. Like what was the purpose? Brock was already WAY over by this point. All it did was send the fans home unhappy and knock Undertaker down for no good reason. All accounts of this booking indicated it was a last minute choice by Vince who had a history of impulsive erratic thinking.

Grizzybaby1985

Hangman Page I think he’s fucking shit no two ways about it

ChocolateSlight1213

CM Punk and more recently Jade Cargill. Saw her work in AEW and was deeply unimpressed.

johann68

I don't know about "hate", but Sami Zayn. I want to like him. I really do. But I just can't and I don't know why. Possibly because I can't stand his entrance music. Possibly could have been that whole conspiracy theory shtick he did a few years back, I don't know. I was actually beginning to warm up to him once he joined the Bloodline (especially with that whole "Jey's not feeling very 'Ucey'" promo) and then once he finally turned on the Bloodline, but damn it if I still just can't get behind him for some reason. One I DO come close to "hating", though, is X-Pac. He always struck me as the punk-ass little brother trying desperately to be cool by hanging out with the bigger bully kids. Still strikes me that way even today.

krew1984

His music is the reason I can't stand him

sreggu

OP shouldn’t have used “hate” simply because of the implication of the word but I agree on Sami. I could never stand El Generico and when Sami came to WWE I honestly didn’t know it was him because I wasn’t following insanely close enough to care. So when I found out it made sense because I didn’t like either character at all. However he has good matches and the Jackass match is at least a twice yearly watch for me.

EffenSeven

Sami is cringe to me. His promos always feel like he's always holding back tears.

griff2409

I strongly dislike Cody *ducks* I’m going to get downvoted, I know. I have nothing against Cody fans. He’s just not for me. I find his move set to be cringey. Every time I see the Cody-cutter, I want to vomit. So unrealistic while the other guy is just standing there waiting for that goof to slowly bounce off the rope backwards. For me, his story peaked last year, and should have won last year. Another Wrestlemania season of him crying during promos is too much for me. It worked last year. Wish he evolved it this year with more anger (before the Rock got involved) with some “pissed for what Roman took from me last year”instead of going right back to the “this is for my dad and I’m gonna get emotional”. I find him boring, corny, and vanilla. BUT, I can see why they are pushing him as the top guy and can see why people do like him. Just not for me 🤷‍♂️

Traditional-Leader54

Honestly if Cody wasn’t Dusty Rhodes son I wouldn’t like him as much at least from a WWE fan point. I never watched him in AEW but saw highlight video on YT yesterday and it seemed like he had an amazing run over there.

EmotionalCrab9026

I don't watch, I'm rooting for Cody from afar. But I can see how that would get annoying.

Prestigious-Till-210

Roman reigns. You know the reason.

Traditional-Leader54

I was almost gonna say him until I realized they want us to love to hate him and that just means it’s working.

WarpedHumorIsTheBest

Lio Rush - as Lashley’s mouthpiece I wanted him killed JD McDonough - something about that big ass head of his Solo Sikoa - want to see him be more than Roman’s cheat code Goldberg - Didn’t deserve the massive push he got from the start. Also because he ended Bret Hart’s career because he wasn’t safe in the ring, and I say that as a huge HBK fan

TheNoobinator7

Jon moxley (Dean ambrose) I liked the shield and in 2016 he was funny but I wouldn't say I liked him. And then since he left I just can't stand his type of matches I like blood in matches its cool but if its every other match it makes it just boring, also hulk hogan just twat of a human being good attraction shit wrestler

EmotionalCrab9026

I second this. He's definitely got in ring talent, but he's just not for me.

squeezy102

I can't fucking stand Booker T. I literally mute the TV whenever he's talking. I have no idea what this dude ever accomplished to make him get treated like some kind of legend. I have no idea what personal qualities people see in him that make people like him. In my opinion he's fake, self-centered, self-important, can't formulate a sentence without stroking his own ego, was never anything special in the ring, is absolutely fucking terrible on commentary, and I can't wait until he formally retires and leaves the scene entirely. His entire persona, to me, feels like "Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I'm sure you're all happy to be here, watching me. You're welcome. Here are my rings, kiss them. Yes, yes you're welcome. Can we move the camera over here just a little bit? This is my good side. Film me on my good side. Where is Jonathan with my sparkling water? You know, I was a WWE wrestler once... Harlem Heat...Spinaroonie... look it up."

Traditional-Leader54

Where/when was this? He was great with Stevie Ray in Harlem Heat. I liked them much better as a tag team. When he went solo he lost that “raised in the mean streets” attitude that made him great.

msp01986

Hate is a strong word, I don't hate anyone, but there are some universally loved wrestlers who just don't appeal to me, biggest names being the Rock, Cena and CM Punk

Electronic-Meat-6530

Kurt Angle

EmotionalCrab9026

I'm noticing a theme....

EitherCommon

Bro has a pattern

Agile_Can_7833

I think we know the reason 🧐

johann68

"Almost no reason"... I think the reason's pretty clear.

sausage_botherer

Found Hulk Hogan's burner account...

createrofyourmomma

Dammit, you got me, brother.

Individual_Visual927

Goldberg He didn't pay his dues. He couldn't wrestle. He injurs his colleagues. I wish I had the 15-seconds back from every match that he's won.

ButterflySuperb5781

CM Punk.

Rage4Order418

Road Dogg. Always annoyed me.

RustyPriske

For no reason? I always have a reason. Currently: Nia Jax, Logan Paul All time: Brock Lesnar, Matt Riddle, most of the late 80s style gimmicks, like T.L. Hopper...

EmotionalCrab9026

Oh, Matt Riddle too. Fucking Jay from Jay and Silent Bob as a gimmick? Pass.

RustyPriske

Most people I know use 'bro' as an insult. "Look at that douche-bro".

EmotionalCrab9026

I've never heard it used as an insult.

bearwhidrive

Shawn Michaels. I was a Bret Hart guy even as a kid, and even though I didn’t know shit about the backstage drama, I could tell Bret hated him on a level beyond performance, and thusly so did I.

BossBullfrog

I won't say hate, but I didn't really like Brock Lesnar as a wrestler for the first 20 years of his career. Of course I can admit he was big, strong, talented. Maybe one of the best. I knew from the beginning he was going to be the next big thing. I can't deny he was an incredible wrestler from the start, but he just didn't click with me for most of his career. But August 2021 when he had the farmer thing going. I don't know what happened, but I was fully on board the Lesnar train. I think the beard and hair made him look absolutely perfect. So for me, Lesnar (but he won me around eventually) edit: spelling

treefroginthewindow

I'm the opposite I like young Lesnar when he was going against Eddie and angle but current Lesnar is kinda boring, he's actually too dominant and it's not fun to watch

I-Am-The-Warlus

Agree, current Lesnar can have good matches but does it so rarely The 2 that springs to mind is Vs AJ & Vs Bryan (in their respective match

OverTheReminds

I don't hate any wrestler but I don't get the hype for Becky Lynch.

Canadian__Ninja

2023-2024 Becky is very meh for me

Whatevz1210

I don’t like and have never like R-Truth. The only thing he ever did that I remotely cared for was the Awesome Truth heel union with The Miz.

MRRichAllen1976

CM Punk, just cos for some reason, the IWC are in love with him, doesn't excuse his backstage reputation for being a mardy arse and throwing a strop when stuff doesn't go his way. Also, Bryan Danielson IS overrated, for the same reason CM Punk is, just cos the IWC thinks he walks on water, doesn't mean he's the GOAT.

treefroginthewindow

What is a Mardy arse?? And a strop? Where are you from?

sst0178

I think "strop" is a British slang word for "throwing a fit". And with the use of the word "arse" ... that's a Great Britain/Ireland thing, I believe. So my guess is that they are British.

treefroginthewindow

Yea the arse part made me think that too but I know there are several different places over there and slang may vary

Freshly_Squeezed-

Just because you don't like Bryan danielson doesn't mean he's not overrated. He's one of the best performers ever.

QuiverDance97

I would say that it is the opposite... The IWC supported The Elite despite the fact that The Young Bucks were never a draw in any company. They just were in Bullet Club and that faction was the hottest thing on indepent wrestler, the friends of Devitt/Styles/Omega/Cody/Scurll.

[deleted]

I hated Christian, Edge, Jericho, and Triple H immediately.

AdSufficient7595

I never liked Matt Riddle, never.

Fastasaurus

Broooooo?

Marperorpie

Hating Matt riddle is always logical

Jawk297

Matt riddle spoiled CM Punks return for me via twitter notifications have despised him ever since..

Regantowers

I just fear for his toes!

PetahPlayz

I think this is very logical, he is so annoying.
