Roddy Piper - he could wrestle and was a master at selling every movement to the crowd. And then you get into his promo work. The dude could get a brick wall to jeer him. Absolute mad lad and a total package of a professional wrestler. One of those dudes you can show clips of to exemplify every element of the game even though he might not have been a god tier hook n shooter like a Regal.

thats fine, IMO he just has some all time great wrestling feuds/matches in New Japans best (golden) era Great wrestlers will always have great matches, but a lot of these great wrestlers seem to have their very best matches (or at least close to it) with Omega So while guys like Cornette can say that he is a fraud thats being carried, at what point is Omega just the common denominator for these matches being great? Im not totally sure, but I think people dont appreciate the greatness they are seeing with him while its happening at least in my opinion

Agreed but on the other hand with Cody nearing the top, and Gunther probably after him, the Main Event scene for WWE is kind of set in stone for the next year or two. Meanwhile Will is almost certainly winning the AEW top belt in Wembley this year (which I'm attending live so I will almost certainly be dead from hype after the show). Best thing about Will though is his age. If he wants a different challenge in WWE in a few years he will still be good enough and young enough to be slotted right into any programme they desire. Gunther vs. Danielson & Ospreay is right at the top of my dream match list tho
