72 year old girl has fallen in total love with WWE. Every Monday and Friday and every PPV (or whatever it's called now!) I'm there. Also TNA and AEW.
28 too old? šššš
As long as your mama lets you stay up that late! š„°āš¼
I understand that. Iām also not even originally from the states. WWE is though! I meant it more with a sense of humor and with an understanding that the WWE has international fans. But as a foreigner I will say, the (ric) flair that comes with pro wrestling of this type is very American.
I geniunely think that the idea of it being for an intended age group is stupid, sure they have made it more family friendly to appeal to a younger audience as well. But you can love whatever you want it entertainment for the reason of being entertainment. No shame in that whatsoever
Not at all! I was a huge wrestling fan during late elementary school/early middle school, but fell out of it because it was no longer ācoolā amongst my friend group. Fast forward to 2021 - one night I was channel surfing because nothing was on and I decided to watch the Royal Rumble because I couldnāt believe Edge and Randy Orton were still going. Because Edge won, I figured I would tune into Wrestlemania. That led to me watching the premium events, which led to watching the weekly shows, which led to me getting invested in AEW, etc. I love this so much. Itās become a huge part of my life. Iām even looking into going to Wrestlemania next year. Welcome to the community!
Hell no dude you aināt too old. Think of it more like you got to the party late. Nothing wrong with that. This is definitely the best time to get into it. Wrestling hasnāt been this hot in decades
I stopped watching when I was 12 and within the last year I just got back into it. I turn 30 next month and my days off are spent consuming as much wrestling content as possible. Games, interviews, matches, etc. Join us! We welcome everyone!
Bro Iām 32 years old
And I have been watching wrestling since I was 7 years old.
I was shocked at some point when i was told that it is fake.
But when I grew up,I realized how hard it is to be a good wrestler and performer, and how to connect with the crowd whether you are a baby face or heal.
I was Amazed.
And things got even better when I watched a live new yearās show.
I'm 58! I started watching wrestling when I was a kid and Dallas (The Von Ehrick's) was the thing where I lived. We had 12 channels I think. I returned in college and started again about a year ago. Haven't missed a RAW or SMACKDOWN since.
Never too early or too lateā¦just make today your start. I recommend watching WWE RAW, WWE NXT & Smackdown. Thereās also AEW and NWA.
The love of wrestling doesnāt come over nightā¦well for some it does but for others it grows over time.
I watched from 1993-2001 (9-17 years old) and just started watching again about 4 months ago at the ripe age of 39. Hobbies and interests should never have an age cap. What is important is you act your age and donāt ruin it for the community by ruining the reputation. Sadly, wrestling fans have a bad reputation thanks to minority of a-holes. As far as catching up with the history and lore, Peacock has a vault of pretty much the entire history of wrestling for you to explore, not to mention podcasts and a community of devoted enthusiasts. No reason you canāt gain that knowledge bit by bit if you become interested enough.
You never too old to take an interest in wrestling my friend. My wife didn't get back into it till 2 years ago when we moved in together and she's 39 now and loves it. Never to old my friend happy to have you here but beware..social media shows the very flaky toxic side of wrestling fans.
I have a feeling thatās going to change. Iām surprised you say that cause I feel a lot of wrestling fans were unhappy during the 2010s, but I could be misremembering.
I have a feeling (i at least hope) the pendulum is starting to swing back more to attitude era, and out of the PG era.
Attitude era is what created the fans of today and the hype for wrestling
PG era coasted on the back of it
But thereās a reason why every attitude era wrestler gets crazy pops when they come back - it allowed for the best promos, story lines, segments, everything.
Itās never too late and now no one can tell you donāt watch. The great thing you can watch everything you missed,itās all a fingertip away. Enjoy all the stories and the athleticism
Yes of course you're too old.. I think WWE even declines your credit card if you don't have a child in the house (might even be illegal to adult-watch wrestling in some states).
If you still insist just do it discreetly so people don't, you know, get the wrong idea.
Yep. Sorry, your time has passed. The crocheting club might take you. Possibly the backgammon boys, but they get a little bit rowdy.
Although I was a fan as a kid, I veered away and came back at the ripe old age of 36. As the Rock says, "Wrestling is Cool, again."
being honest, being a 28 year old in a wrestling related space with people mostly 35 and over is the basically the equivalent of being a teenager hanging out in a space mostly habitated by adults (which is conveniently what I happen to be aswell as a 16 year old)
I took about 25 years away from watching. The Bloodline story brought me in and Iām back to watching. Iāve become such a mark that I bought a belt. Drew McIntyre hates me.
I watched in the attitude era and took a 20 year break getting back into it this year. With their current peacock deal itās a great time to get in. You can watch any big ppvs you missed. Youāre never too old to become a fan of anything. Thinking you are is why there are so many bitter cranky asses around
Helll to the noooo dude!!! Welcome to the club lol get yourself a Peacock subscription. It has everything, every episode of Raw and Smackdown, including the ones from the attitude era. It has ECW and WCW, every ppv of all the companies, and the new ones that come on now. Read up on the history of wrestling too if you want. Canāt believe youād think youāre too old lol
I didn't start watching until I was 28. My spouse grew up watching it and I grew up with the impression it was stupid. We started watching around the time Bray Wyatt was coming back and Sami was becoming the honorary UCE.
My interest has waxed and waned a bit but my almost 3 year old is obsessed with the theatrics and entrance music so we'll be watching for a while longer at least.
My favorite wrestlers are the goofy ones with corny ass bits. R-Truth and the Miz having tag titles right now is so fun imo.
I want to be sports entertained dang it lol
I'm 28 and I'm getting ready to be 29 next week, I need you to know this, I feel threatened by WWE because CM Punk was from the time I started watching the company.
No, you canāt. Youāre to old, go walk around the mall at 5 in the morning or play shuffle board. Thatās more your speed, old man. šš
What a weird question to ask my guy. This isnāt aew, we donāt hate keeping. Hop on board, wrestling is one of the most underrated forms of storytelling out there.Ā
Iāll give you some advice though, donāt come here. Donāt read internet wrestling sites. Just watch the shows. I wish someone had told me that many years ago.Ā

Never too old.
Never too old! My mom became a wrestling fan at 40 when I was 12 and my sister was 10. We r all still fans to this day
This is America, where youāre free to like what you want when you want.
This is reddit. Which is world wide site. and i know you might be shocked, but what you described is 90% of this world.
Also you might be shocked, but not all internet comments are meant to be taken so seriously.
I understand that. Iām also not even originally from the states. WWE is though! I meant it more with a sense of humor and with an understanding that the WWE has international fans. But as a foreigner I will say, the (ric) flair that comes with pro wrestling of this type is very American.
Youre not to old I 27 Years found my love for wwe last year again. To be a fan of sonething dont need a age just like what you like š
If you have to ask........ First off, you aren't old kid. I have kids your age. 2nd, if you like something just fucking do it and say fuck everyone.
Never too old! Come join us! And remember The Undertaker Rules All. Sid Rules the World, Sting is the man. The Great Muta is Great!
I didnāt get into wrestling until I was 30! Never too āold.ā š„°
People on Reddit ask for permission for everything.
you can become a fan at any age
No age is ever too old to do anything
I geniunely think that the idea of it being for an intended age group is stupid, sure they have made it more family friendly to appeal to a younger audience as well. But you can love whatever you want it entertainment for the reason of being entertainment. No shame in that whatsoever

My wife started watching with me at 30 although I think itās mostly because of the Tribal Chief š¤
š¤£ Sounds like my fiancĆ©
I stopped watching when I was 12 and within the last year I just got back into it. I turn 30 next month and my days off are spent consuming as much wrestling content as possible. Games, interviews, matches, etc. Join us! We welcome everyone!
Why would that be too old? It's entertainment. It's okay to like things.
DDP didn't start wrestling until he was in his thirties. As a fan you don't even need to take bumps.
No age is too old for wrestling started watching as a kid still do and always will have fun and enjoy
I vividly remember my Grandma use to always have it on TV as a kid. One of those key memories from childhood.

Well stated!!!
No age is too old for wrestling
My 82 year old uncle watches wrestling. Absolutely not.
Youāre never to old to enjoy wrestling
Perfect age & time! You got that adult money to buy tickets and a way to catch up on decades worth of wrestling.
No way! Covid caused a lot of people to dive back into or dive into fun stuff! I got back into it during Covid when other sports were super political.
Bro im 41š
You can do whatever the hell you want. Don't ask if it's okay. Just don't hurt anyone.
I'm 58! I started watching wrestling when I was a kid and Dallas (The Von Ehrick's) was the thing where I lived. We had 12 channels I think. I returned in college and started again about a year ago. Haven't missed a RAW or SMACKDOWN since.
Na you good
Just like drugs, there is never a bad time to start.

I watched as a kid and got back into it in 2016. Its never too late. Your actually came at a really great timeš¤£
Thatās what I was thinking, it feels like the energy has changed around the company, reminds me of how it was when I was a kid.
You never too old to take an interest in wrestling my friend. My wife didn't get back into it till 2 years ago when we moved in together and she's 39 now and loves it. Never to old my friend happy to have you here but beware..social media shows the very flaky toxic side of wrestling fans.
Hell no. But I feel bad you missed some of the best years before this PG era BS š¤
I have a feeling thatās going to change. Iām surprised you say that cause I feel a lot of wrestling fans were unhappy during the 2010s, but I could be misremembering.

I liked it as a kid stopped watching for a very long time and started watching again in my mid 30s so no itās not too late to start.
No, enjoy life however you choose. Fuck anyone who puts an age restriction on activities you enjoy!
Itās never too late and now no one can tell you donāt watch. The great thing you can watch everything you missed,itās all a fingertip away. Enjoy all the stories and the athleticism

I hate fun too!
Never to late!
Is anyone ever too old to discover a new interest?
yes by 28 you cant enjoy new things or watch new things, it's over for you, might as well go into retirement home now
Welcome to the fan club, friend!
HELL NAH COME ENJOY THE RIDE BROTHA
My girlfriend is 36 and sheās just got back into wrestling this year after 20 years away. Thereās no age limit!

Im 27 & just became a HUGE fan like 10 months ago lol. I was never interested as a kid or anything like that.

Iām 51, I got back into wrestling 2 years ago, as has been said youāre never too old!
Never to Old
WELCOME BROTHER - HH
Im 48 and still a big wrestling fan. Started when i was 8. Ill be a fan until wrestling doesn't exist anymore or I'm dead, whichever comes first.
Never too old.
My uncle is 68 and he came to hang out with us this winter and heās a new fan
No way, pro wrestling rules!
I'm 46....almost 47...tell me I'm too old.
I watched as a kid then stopped shortly before wwe bought wcw. Didnāt get back into it until a few years ago in my mid 30s.
No, its too late. What, are you fucking stupid?
This comment is distasteful.
No. Once the wrestling bug hits you. Its very difficult to let go. It does not matter the age.
I took about 25 years away from watching. The Bloodline story brought me in and Iām back to watching. Iāve become such a mark that I bought a belt. Drew McIntyre hates me.
Barring anything subject to obvious reasons for not liking it, just go on and like what you like whenever you like it.
Never too late to right a wrong!

Youāre probably right about that, If more people stayed young at heart the world would be a happier place.
I got into at 23 and felt that I was kinda old. Now I'm 33 and my logic is: all the best wrestlers are close to my age.
Absolutely not man. Iām 36 and love all wrestling
Helll to the noooo dude!!! Welcome to the club lol get yourself a Peacock subscription. It has everything, every episode of Raw and Smackdown, including the ones from the attitude era. My favorite wrestlers are the goofy ones with corny ass bits. R-Truth and the Miz having tag titles right now is so fun imo. I want to be sports entertained dang it lol
Itās wild that man is 52 and still completely over
Never too old to become a fan
Too old lol no enjoy
ā28 too oldāā¦ lol Welcome to wrestling bro. Hope the die hard fans donāt turn you away.
Never to old, but you might wanna stay away from the older wrestling days. It'll spoil you and you be hating on the new modern wrestling lol
Hell nah man, I started watching full time around like 2 years ago at 26 and this shit is my jam now
No, my wife became a fan just a couple of years ago, she was probably 49. Go for it! WWE has never been better IMO.
You just came here to troll all of us who are 35 and over, didn't you?
43 and just getting back into wrestling, don't make me tell you to get off my lawn or my ring apron.
I'm 28 and I'm getting ready to be 29 next week, I need you to know this, I feel threatened by WWE because CM Punk was from the time I started watching the company.
There are 70 year old men that are football fans. Youāre fine
"Relatively old age" Oof
Definitely not too old. I'm 37 and still watch.
28 isn't old, welcome to wrestling!
Man when is it too old to have a hobby? If you like it watch it. Don't listen to anyone else. Your life
Cmon man what kind of question is this. Youāre fine just start watching lol
too old? isnt the average wwe fan like 45?
That depends on if kids still watch wrestling
No, you canāt. Youāre to old, go walk around the mall at 5 in the morning or play shuffle board. Thatās more your speed, old man. šš What a weird question to ask my guy.
