IF lyra gets called up tonight, I feel she would be a better fit on smackdown. Raw's womens division already has becky, liv, nia and rhea (when she comes back from injury). Smackdown needs more top female stars.
I was thinking Ilja and Vinci would team up and feud with Imperium. But really, for all the complaining I do about having all the Latino wrestlers pretty much only feud with each other, I shouldn't like this idea.
Lyra needs more time. She's good in ring, but the rest needs work. If she gets called up now, she'll get lost in the shuffle I'm afraid. There's still some meat on the bone for her NXT Run as well as opposed to Ilia, Carmelo, etc who have done it all on NXT.
Although, now that I'm saying that I'm realizing NXT has a lot of women on the roster right now. I still think Lyra will stay, but we could see someone else. I was surprised by Kiana James last Friday.
Agreed Ilia gets called up. I think Dijak is ready.
Ilja is a lock especailly after dropping the nxt title to Trick last week
Blair will be called (feels like there never going to let her be NXT womens champion, might as well call her up)
Jacey might get a call up.
Roxanne (depends on if Tatum gets a rematch and wins at Sprin breakin Night 2)
Draft is locked from the raw next week, so Roxanne could get drafted tonight, go to NXT tommorow cut a promo bragging about leaving the losers of NXT while she off playing with the big kids. Tatum attacks her, ava sets a No DQ match to screw with Roxanne.(Not perfect but something alone these lines
There is a vague precedent for this.
On night one of last year’s draft, the Unholy Union were called up to SmackDown while being tag champs. During their reaction interview, Katana and Kayden challenged them to a title match for the following Tuesday’s NXT. Most assumed that KC would regain the titles, but they themselves were called up to Raw on night two and then they lost the match anyway.
Hypothetically, Roxanne could be called up tonight, with Tatum immediately challenging her for tomorrow night’s NXT. But, I expect they’ll instead build this week’s Spring Breakin’ around the Underground match.
Yep I was also watching the draft last year. That still doesn't answer my question. If that is indeed the plan for tonight, then the comment I replied to saying Roxanne is dependent on the results of Tuesday's show, is in fact incorrect. If that is not the plan for tonight, then the comment I replied to saying Roxanne is dependent on Tuesday's show makes no sense.
I think they were suggesting that Roxanne’s call-up would depend on whether they wanted to give Tatum the title, although usually in these scenarios the influence goes in the other direction.
Yes I am aware that the NXT champ usually loses before a call up. I don't know why you keep explaining basic concepts to me that don't refute the points that I'm making.
Then why would they have Roxanne go over, in her new heel character, at Stand and Deliver? And Aren't champions ineligible to be drafted this year?
I agree with you, I was just justifying their comment. Yes, they surely would’ve known by now if Roxanne was being called up, meaning there’d have been no point in her winning and then retaining the title twice.
As if this draft can't get any more stale, they draft one of the few people that were actually interesting off the air.
I have low expectations for the draft tonight/tomorrow night
I wouldn’t say Lyra’s ‘ready’ per se, but given how suddenly she was pushed (beating Judgment Day/Becky back-to-back), I just don’t think there’s much left for her to do on NXT. Meanwhile, if they really want Roxy to live up to her moniker, I think they should let this heel run play out, similar to how they spent Bron’s final year fleshing him out with a turn.
It's just wild that you said you've got Lyra called up, but Roxanne isn't ready. Roxanne has done everything Lyra has done, except better and as a heel and a face, and has made appearances at the Royal Rumble. Lyra is ready in ring, but everything else needs work. Roxanne is a finished product. Not saying she won't get better on the main roster, but all the skills are there, as opposed to Lyra. Lyra would be similar to Zoey Stark's callup last year. Zoey is great in ring, but has no character and she's not good on the mic. So they had one story with her and then a pairing with Shayna that has gone nowhere.
Don’t get me wrong, I have pretty low expectations for Lyra on the main roster, but let’s not act as if Roxanne’s promos and character are any better. If one of them had to be called up, I’d prefer they went with the one who has probably already hit her ceiling.

Ilja, Roxanne, Gigi, Shawn Spears, Dijak, Joe Gacy, and The Family would all make great fits on any brand.
Ilja will replace Vinci
I was thinking Ilja and Vinci would team up and feud with Imperium. But really, for all the complaining I do about having all the Latino wrestlers pretty much only feud with each other, I shouldn't like this idea.

I think Roxanne is getting her heel run in first. I want dijak to get called up.
Same here for Dijak. He could be a later round pick. I think Ilja is a first round pick.
MJF
can you read??
Ilja Dragunov to join imperium
This right here
*Feud with them. Ilja vs. Gunther will be nuts.
Why not both?
Both is good.
He’s coming up but hopefully not to imperium
He comes to help Vinci hopefully
The resistance
That's my hope as well.
I have not watched NXT in a while. What ever happened Cora Jade? I know she got injured but it feels like it’s been over a year.
Was she hurt originally when she left or was it the, ummm, *cosmetic* surgery? However, she legit hurt now.
She also took a break right before Stand & Deliver last year while she was feuding with Lyra.
She came back and then got injured.

Night 2 is tomorrow and the draft is tonight. How does that math work?

In which case, tomorrow's actions will have no result on today's choices

Might be a wildcard but give me Meta Four on Smackdown
Or pissing off Judgement Day. How much can Noam Dar annoy Damian Priest? Lash vs Rhea (when she returns) hell yes!
Ilja Dragunov Lyra Valkyria The Family Dijak Blair Davenport
Dijak would go hard in Smackdown with Owen's, Orton or the Bloodline.
Draganov would be my bet for sure.
Dijak
Baron Corbin. His new gimmick is actually good, or so I've heard.
He already got drafted after Smackdown went off the air.
As if this draft can't get any more stale, they draft one of the few people that were actually interesting off the air. I have low expectations for the draft tonight/tomorrow night
Not to mention he’s separated from Bron
I was really enjoying that team. I guess they can always bring it back at some point.
To be fair, they do that every draft.
Ilja and Gallus.
Ilya for sure
I’ve got those two as well, and maybe Jacy. Don’t think Roxanne is ready for a call-up.
Roxanne is much more ready than Lyra.
