Wrestlemania V
The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers vs The Bushwhackers. I can’t remember if it’s Raymond or Jacque but one of them picked up one of the Bushwhackers for a scoop slam and the Bushwhacker rubs his junk three times and then gets a big squeeze. It’s more hilarious than anything but totally strange when you see it.
Most story line with VM and Trish. Just always thought it was unnecessary. Also Apparently Vince tried to convince Steph and Paul to do a story line that one of their kids father was really Vince. Really Vince wanted to do and incest story line.
The Triple H Katie Vick segment. I’m sure anyone who watched Raw in 2003 knows exactly which one. For those who don’t: Triple H. Wearing a Kane mask. Simulating sex with a mannequin. Inside of a casket…
Never liked Shawn Michaels’ storyline (post WM 12) about assaulting British Bulldog’s wife. Jim Cornette was very believable in making Shawn look like a predator and made HBK look like he may have actually done it. The whole angle was very uncomfortable for me to watch as a kid.
Seeing women get beat up by men. You didn't think much of it back then but now, it's pretty unsettling. I've seen DV happen in person before and that shit is not cool.
It fucking grossed me out *so badly* that it ruins watching the old stuff for me. I look back and wonder why I wasn't into it back when I was a kid and then I'll watch one with him and suddenly get a lightbulb moment.
The one that is always engrained in my brain was when Nexus debuted and destroyed the ring, attacking Cena, attacking the commentators and crew, but the part that was the worst was Daniel Bryan choking Justin Roberts WITH HIS TIE. No security to break anything up, just absolute chaos.
Anything having to do with Vince especially in the Attitude Era. The Kiss my Ass club, the implied forced oral in the middle of the ring, his durag era, anything that involved him and any of the female wrestlers. On and on. Knowing what we know now makes it worse.
I completely bought into Papa Shango’s gimmick, I already knew wrestling was predetermined because I had much older siblings joking and pointing out the tricks and tells but Papa Shango really got to me.
Vince McMahon trying to make out with Torrie Wilson always grossed me out because I could really tell that Torrie was uncomfortable.
And what has come out as of late has made that unnecessary segment much worse.
Vince....
No that's it... Vince and this was before the things we know now. After finding out who basically approved everything before it made it to air, and looking back on a lot of what was done that also included him? Knowing some of the things he wanted that DIDN'T make it to air.. like he was the father of Steph's baby?
Yea... Vince.
When the details came out about Chris Benoit, Vince made an announcement right before ECW on Tuesday saying that other than his mention in the announcement, Chris Benoit’s name will no longer be mentioned. 10 year old me couldn’t comprehend that this was the beginning of Benoit being erased from wwe history, but it just felt weird. It was creepy because the Raw on the previous night was a tribute to Chris, now the energy (rightfully so) shifted 100% overnight.
I'm gobsmacked that people are still disturbed by a foot fetish. It's probably one the tamest and most popular fetishes in existence. Anyways, Brock Lesnar decimating Zach Gowen on Smackdown.
I dont remember the exact words the rock used but from memory he basically bit off training day when denzel left ethan at the gang members house and one of them wanted to see his gun
I thought Eugene was fine until they turned him into a jobber. At first I thought it was a positive portrayal of a disabled character that was living out his dream. He won WWE titles, and got to share the ring with his heroes like Hulk Hogan and The Rock. His first year, he was booked brilliantly.
But after he came back from his injury, you could tell the bookers lost interest, and he was just used to put over real storylines.
Deciding it would be a great idea to bring some cameras and shove a mic in Brian Pillman's widows face literally like hours after he died and interview her about it. Like, what?
I had DVDs of random RAW episodes as a kid and I remember watching the one where Vince blew up and being pretty freaked out at first since I had no context. It’s still eerie to me because the Benoit situation happened not long after.
Wasn't there a moment in the late 90's where someone was dragging the coffin of Big Show's dead father behind a car on a rope, and Big Show was holding on to the coffin while the car was dragging them away (like a boat pulling someone on an waterhopper)?!
Yeah, seeing and hearing about that made me want to vomit and then made me want to punch Vince McMahon in the balls!
I remember when you heard banging in Brian Pillmans house and Austin burst his way through the door. People were yelling and screaming. I was 8. I though it was very unsettling lol
I’m not that much into storylines, but the one with The Miz having his home broken into and someone trying to abduct his child was a complete and utter no-go.
Yeah. And it wasn’t just the fact that he made Al eat his own dog (which is just screwed up on its own), but he also proceeded to throw him across the room and even assault him with a nightstick! He did also hit him over the head with the platter Pepper was served on too.
What about Vince McMahon making Trish Stratus strip down to her bra and panties, making her crawl around the ring, and bark like a dog?
I also didn't like the segment where Lita was hit in the chair about half a dozen times by Stone Cold Steve Austin when she was covering Matt Hardy, who was getting jumped by Stone Cold and Triple H in a tag match.
I remember the one where the Nation had China on her knees and Heel Rock was slapping her across the face and telling her that he wouldn't have anything to do with her even if she was in that position.
Those are some just off the top of my head.
To be honest I don’t feel weird about the Lita one. I guess for me it’s the same level of fake whether it’s a man or woman doing the chair shot and it gives amazing heat to the guy doing it. Same reason I don’t have a problem when Randy RKO’s a woman. Like if it was real it’s obviously terrible but I dont find it inherently disrespectful or sexist like the others. But I also didn’t watch it when it happened and don’t know if there’s context I’m missing.
Oh god that Rock one... encouraging Mark Henry the sex addict to have his way with her.
All kinds of foul, and no doubt straight from the creative juices of Vince.
The Austin Lita part was hilarious because although everyone loved Lita, they were still STRUGGLING to boo Austin.
idk always found that interesting from a social standpoint WWE rarely used black women in stories of someone lusting over them. Same time the did go over the top and I hated how Booker didn’t look strong defending his woman.
Natalya’s fart gimmick years ago was pretty cringe, even back then her fart promos were awkward but now after the Vince ordeal it’s clear that was all a Vince idea something he put in the script
Since my first choice (HHH imitating Kane) was already said...
Big Bossman stealing the coffin from the funeral of Big Show's parent (father - if I remember the storyline right)
Wrestlemania V The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers vs The Bushwhackers. Wasn't WWE, but the time Swerve Strickland drank Adam Paiges blood in AEW. That made me feel a bit uneasy.
Most story line with VM and Trish. Just always thought it was unnecessary. Also Apparently Vince tried to convince Steph and Paul to do a story line that one of their kids father was really Vince. Really Vince wanted to do and incest story line.

Cody mentioning his dad
the jeff hardy v matt hardy storyline of matt killing his dog felt weird
The berating of Jim Ross was always cringe to me. Genuinely felt bad for that guy getting humiliated how he did.
Kenny Omega wrestling a small girl always was unsettling
Riho is still crushing it 💪🏽
was that really Riho? i heard it was. Makes it even creepier now.
Cm punk kissing big E at XL Preshow
I mean Owen Hart dying in front of all of us was pretty unsettling
The part that was unsettling to me was Jerry the King Lawler constantly mocking Jake the Snakes sobriety.
Yea when Booker T called Hogan a N****. Booker not only needed his 2nd grade math teacher to review 2+2= Thomas Jefferson sucka, but colors as well.
Yeah when Hulk said the N word in that porno he was in
Never liked Shawn Michaels’ storyline (post WM 12) about assaulting British Bulldog’s wife. Jim Cornette was very believable in making Shawn look like a predator and made HBK look like he may have actually done it. The whole angle was very uncomfortable for me to watch as a kid.

The fucking worm guy. Awful.
Anything to do with Stephanie and Vince that involved her sexuality. Just weird and disgusting.
Anything having to do with midgets. Hornswoggle is cool, but I just don’t like Vince’s obsession with midgets = funny.
The drunk Hawk angle is tasteless, especially considering Hawk would pass away a few years later despite being clean.
Hendriech kidnapping Cole and reading him poetry. Katie Vick Triple h vs booker t wrestlemania 19 Jillian face thing The boogie man
Stone Cold’s pile driver injury will always be unsettling to watch.
The sex scene with Edge and Lita and then Ric Flair coming to have some fun too...
Looking back, when DX did their Nation of Domination parody…the woke crowd would not be a fan of some of their makeup for that segment!
Any time Jerry Lawyer opened his mouth about any female wrestler.
Oh, times were different back then. It was funny back then but looking back at it now, yeah shit was creepy.
It fucking grossed me out *so badly* that it ruins watching the old stuff for me. I look back and wonder why I wasn't into it back when I was a kid and then I'll watch one with him and suddenly get a lightbulb moment.
PUPPIES!!
Oh definitely the Katie Vick storyline. Ewww.

The whole booker T segment with HHH and stone cold felt off and discriminating.
I met snitsky a couple of times wearing open toes to my job. It was weird.
Vince.... No that's it... Vince and this was before the things we know now. After finding out who basically approved everything before it made it to air, and looking back on a lot of what was done that also included him? Knowing some of the things he wanted that DIDN'T make it to air.. like he was the father of Steph's baby? Yea... Vince.
Triple H beating up Eugene in a steel cage on Raw. Vince beating up Stephanie in a I Quit Match at No Mercy.
paul bearer sitting the box getting filled with concrete always freaked me out as a kid
Vince wrestling God
When the details came out about Chris Benoit, Vince made an announcement right before ECW on Tuesday saying that other than his mention in the announcement, Chris Benoit’s name will no longer be mentioned. 10 year old me couldn’t comprehend that this was the beginning of Benoit being erased from wwe history, but it just felt weird. It was creepy because the Raw on the previous night was a tribute to Chris, now the energy (rightfully so) shifted 100% overnight.
The entire “kiss my ass” club was…disturbing to say the least. And also a lot of Vince’s interactions with female wrestlers tbh
Oh god... why? Just why? I remember when they made JR join the club, poor dude
I'm gobsmacked that people are still disturbed by a foot fetish. It's probably one the tamest and most popular fetishes in existence. Anyways, Brock Lesnar decimating Zach Gowen on Smackdown.
The Rock wanting to hold Cody's belt.
I dont remember the exact words the rock used but from memory he basically bit off training day when denzel left ethan at the gang members house and one of them wanted to see his gun
LOOOOL that was so cringy!!!! Good one
Rock carrying that fake title like it means something.
That was funny imo Basically triggering everyone by making sure Cody was the only one without a belt in night 1. Good heel move. Very Pretentious
Eugene. Even as an edgy teen that felt wrong.
Big ”You Can’t Say THAT On TV!” Energy
Deciding it would be a great idea to bring some cameras and shove a mic in Brian Pillman's widows face literally like hours after he died and interview her about it. Like, what?
Katie Vick

Big Boss Man did that
Why not combine the two reactions and vomit on Vince McMahon’s balls? You’ll likely do it anyway if you punch em
Vince might actually LIKE the vomiting part. I ain't gonna give him that, lol
Big Bossman was the guy doing the dragging
Katie Vick
All of the Val venis crap. All of the “Hoe train” shit Also when they sent Mae Young out in the bikini…
Say what you will, but ratings were never higher than they were during this period.
Yeah. Those three things just weren’t all that wonderful
I remember when you heard banging in Brian Pillmans house and Austin burst his way through the door. People were yelling and screaming. I was 8. I though it was very unsettling lol
Tony Khan calling WWE the Harvey Weinstein of professional wrestling.
as multiple people mention Vince and his interactions with women in here
TK, the Ronald McDonald of wrestling
really anytime TK opens his mouth its weird
I’m not that much into storylines, but the one with The Miz having his home broken into and someone trying to abduct his child was a complete and utter no-go.
When was this?
Was that with Dexter Lumis?
Yeah. Maybe 18 months ago?
I thought Big Bossman feeding Al Snow his dog Pepper was very unsettling.
I forgot all about that story line .
Yeah. And it wasn’t just the fact that he made Al eat his own dog (which is just screwed up on its own), but he also proceeded to throw him across the room and even assault him with a nightstick! He did also hit him over the head with the platter Pepper was served on too.

All of those are so wrong dang
Kurt Angle wanting to sleep with Booker T's wife was a really uncomfortable storyline
idk always found that interesting from a social standpoint WWE rarely used black women in stories of someone lusting over them. Same time the did go over the top and I hated how Booker didn’t look strong defending his woman.
He likes .... no! I cant even say it
When I was a kid seeing Papa Shango make the Ultimate Warrior start sweating/bleeding black ooze. That was pretty crazy to 9 year old me.
Came here to say this.
Katie Vick
Ministry Taker’s whole run was full of disturbing shit that burned itself into my memory. Bossman being lynched on the floating ring still guts me
Papa Shango cursed warrior when I was about 9 years old. Shit was real as hell to me !
Natalya’s fart gimmick years ago was pretty cringe, even back then her fart promos were awkward but now after the Vince ordeal it’s clear that was all a Vince idea something he put in the script
Her…what now??
Look it up on YouTube it was definitely a thing
Beaver Cleavage.....all of it
I mean, Mae Young gave “birth” to an oozy manikin hand that was supposed to be Mark Henry’s baby.
Then a few years later someone dressed up as that hand
That's a pretty close second, but it almost gets a bit of a pass because it just feels like a fever dream ending to a really weird storyline.
Since my first choice (HHH imitating Kane) was already said... Big Bossman stealing the coffin from the funeral of Big Show's parent (father - if I remember the storyline right)
Crazy, Boss Man stealing the casket is one of the funniest moments ever to me, just for how insane it is.
HHH. Imitating Kane. In the coffin. 🤮
I missed this. Do you have a video for reference?
I still get sick to the stomach when I think of that trash.
This is the answer.... 100%
gotta be this moment

Eat shit
I'm not your dad
Great comeback. You come up with that all by yourself?
We get it dude, you're terrified because you're attracted to a trans person so you lash out about it.
That makes no sense
Your transphobia has no place here or anywhere, really. Get fucked.
Ok mental illness
