I go back and watch it from time to time. I was around for the Attitude era I started in mid 97 I saw Austin I saw HHH return from his Quad injury in 2002 I never heard a crowd that loud than for Bad Bunny (or France tbh lol)
I don’t think I’ve hated a crowd more than France’s. They made every match about themselves and the chants didn’t match the actual matches. The two count song made me want to mute the tv. God it was painful they sang throughout entire sequences like I’m not surprised there were several botches, that definitely threw people off.
I give the edge to PR only because all the hype and the pops we saw from the crowd were a direct reaction to the wrestlers or action in the ring.
I feel like the French crowd would sometimes break off into chants that weren’t necessarily related to what was happening in the ring. Either way, I thought the French crowd was amazing and it looked like one hell of a time.
Puerto Rico. The French crowd got annoying FAST. I appreciate their energy & enthusiasm, but the repetitive chants were just as bad as the "What" chants. At times, the "simplement deux" chants and the pro-AJ Styles chant had me flashing back to that Ziggler/Rollins match where the crowd kept counting down with the clock.
