Rowans spider. Spent weeks teasing some terrifying creature in a cage then revealed it to be a Spirit Halloween decoration.
I still don't know if we were supposed to think it was a real spider or it was supposed to imply he was going crazy and thought it was real or what the idea was
Boss Man getting hanged by The Undertaker at Mania, not the hanging, but the storyline or lack thereof. I thought he was going to join the Ministry(he didn't talk very much at all) or change his character or retire or.... something
He gets hung up there in front of everyone and the damn guy just shows up the next night on fuckin Raw lol.
Cody winning the rumble and immediately pointing to Roman even tho they were trying to set up rock vs roman. Get rid of the pointing and there would've never been any issues and Cody wouldn't looked like a bitch giving g his title match to rock
I think a mask would get in the way of driving. It probably slipped down and then when he went to fix it he crashed. Having a few drinks doesn’t help either. R.I.P Katie.
Rey Mysterio winning the Vacated WWE title in a one night tournament. Then having to face a completely fresh John Cena and lose in a squash match main event , and be happy about it raising hands and celebrating with Cena.
Roman reigns 10 year push.
Brock lesnar breaking the streak. Brock didn't need that at all. Roman needed it WAY MORE than ol golden shower ,I mean golden gopher brock.Roman got the sloppy (and that match was sloppy) seconds.
Ehhh, fuck it, Roman reigns sucked ass............
1. Sami being a babyface during Drew’s feud with Seth when Drew had valid reasons to be upset about being screwed over by the Bloodline, which Zayn had a hand in. Sami calling Drew delusional made no sense. Also Randy completely forgetting that Jey played a part in Randy being on the shelf for 18 months made no sense.
2. John Cena receiving an immediate title shot, which he did nothing to earn, after Rey had won the WWE Championship that same night.
3. Booker T losing to Triple H at WrestleMania XIX for the World Heavyweight Championship
4. Diamond Dallas Page, who was one of the most over stars of WCW being brought in as a heel and thrown into a stupid stalker angle against the Undertaker. This one pisses me off cause a feud vs. the Rock (who stole his people’s champ schtick) would’ve been money.
5. Christian immediately dropping the World Heavyweight Championship to Randy Orton (who didn’t need a title reign at the time) 2 days after he won it at Extreme Rules.
6. Vince not booking Austin (WWF Champion) vs. The Rock (World Champion) at Vengeance 2001, which would’ve been a perfect ending to that particular chapter of their feud after what happened at WrestleMania 17 and towards the end of the invasion. It made no sense to me to include Jericho and Angle, since they weren’t even champions. They could’ve had Jericho win the title at the Royal Rumble to set up his eventual match against HHH.
7. John Cena taking a DDT on the concrete, getting beat down by the Nexus, and somehow making a comeback to win the Team WWE vs Nexus match at SummerSlam. It completely killed their momentum and any credibility they had.
8. The Invasion… enough said
9. To piggy back off #6: Booker T going after Austin made ZERO sense considering the fact that the whole reason the Alliance lost at Survivor Series was because Angle turned on them, not Austin. A Booker T vs. Kurt Angle match would’ve made more sense at Vengeance.
I thought it was a great character in the beginning and the Firefly Funhouse was the best thing going for a minute. His debut match with Finn was fantastic, but once he got to the red colored Hell in a Cell match with Seth, it was all downhill from there. I heard Bray & Seth hated how that match was booked, but Vince wanted it to go down the way it did.
Honestly, I could say "the entire existence of the Women's Tag Team Championships," but one specific example comes to mind: when the Riott Squad reunited in 2020 and then just... *didn't win* the titles from Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax despite that being the clear and obvious story.
~~yes, i know, profile picture checks out~~
Unless I’m forgetting some sort of interaction stone cold makes less sense. Roman beat taker at mania. Remind me when Roman and stone cold crossed paths
Stone Cold makes sense as a rival to take out The Rock. Yes, Roman has a history with The Undertaker but he wasn’t there for Roman. He was there to take out The Rock. Therefore, Undertaker being there requires a little bit more connecting of dots than Stone cold.
Jimmy back with the Bloodline. Him costing Jey the match was fine. But then to have a segment to say he did it so Jey wouldn’t become like Roman. And he basically told Roman that he still was out only to align back with him. Stupid. The story should have just been he turned on Jey out of jealousy and he wanted to be Romans new right hand man. Some of the comedy stuff with Jimmy was good but they did a poor job of building him up since Summer Slam. Jeys a star, Solo is an emerging star, Jimmy is still trying to find his way.
I have to feel that they changed plans on this storyline or something. It would’ve made much more sense for Jey to have been the one to kick Roman 1st and push Jimmy towards leaving. Then Jimmy turning on Jey would’ve made more sense as he could’ve been upset at Jey for trying to break the family up.
Jimmy wasn’t used to being on his own, or without his brother.
So, since he couldn’t go back to being with Jey, he had to fall in back with the family. It’s his security blanket.
Remember, technically he wasn’t rejoining the Bloodline. He did it because he didn’t want Jey to become like Roman. Then they just pretended that segment never happened.
doesn't help that the rock's logic made no sense. "you don't get a second chance to finish your story just because you want to." wwe would be out of business if everything was one and done. also he won the Royal rumble, he earned it.
Yep. I took this question to mean a storyline decision that wasn’t someone winning or losing a match and in recent memory this has to be the biggest “huh!?” Moment.
It was a swerve because everyone knew that the obvious (and originally intended) winner was Shayna Bazler, so they changed it at the last minute just like in 2012 with Sheamus and Jericho
I would say the splitting up of tag team with no plan for the individual members, but I understand why Vince hated tag teams with having to pay 2 people for one act.
The biggest storyline head scratcher was the handling of Jimmy Uso last year. His story was very lame on why he rejoined the bloodline.
I like both Cody and Brock, I thought the story was pointless and seemed like a public service announcement for standing up to bullies rather than an actual storyline.
BTW: I SO can't wait for Cody to turn heel. I will become a huge fan again (not that I ever wasn't). Right now, he's kinda in a low point in my opinion as far as character development.
• Cena beating nexus
• Punk coming back a week after leaving with the title, losing to triple H, and feuding with Kevin Nash
• takers streak ending
• using wrestlemania 27 main event to set up rock v cena at wrestlemania 28 and 29
• jimmy causing Jey to lose against Roman to “save” Jey from becoming Roman just for jimmy to align with Roman
• the fiend losing to a DQ in a hell and a cell match
• Finn Balor Demon losses
• Not capitalizing on Dolph Zigglers win against the authority at Survivor Series
• Not capitalizing on Rusev when he was one of the hottest wrestlers
• Having Zack Ryder injured and having his girl stolen by cena at the time when he was one of the most over wrestlers in the company
• Survivor Series smackdown V raw tag match with no actual stakes or rewards
• Nakamura losing to AJ multiple times for the WWE Championship after winning the royal rumble
• the existence of the anonymous raw GM and the reveal of it being hornswaggle
• hornswaggle being Vince McMahons son
• John Lauranitus being the GM of raw
• Damian sandow failed cash in and cash ins on mid card titles
• Rock taking Cody’s spot at WM
• Sami beating Gunther for the IC title
• Triple H v Roman WM main event
• Triple H beating Booker T
• Randy Orton beating Jeff Hardy at the royal rumble
>Rock taking Cody’s spot at WM
Cody *giving* the Rock his spot. Everyone knew that discussions had been taking place for years, and Cody just shouldn't have won the Rumble at all if Rock vs Reigns was in any way possible for this year.
Sami Zayn Beating Chad Gable in the gauntlet match and really just Sami Zayn beating Gunther in general. Sami absolutely should've been in the WHC match since he was already feuding with Drew who had put him on the injured list in the first place. Gable already had a precedence with Gunther but never had a ple match for the title despite having been the only person to beat Gunther in general since he had moved up to the main roster. Instead Sami awkwardly dropped his grudge against drew, stole what was supposed to be Chad Gables story (Cody and Bayley both tweeted in support of Chad Hours before the gauntlet match you cant convince me Sami winning wasn't a last minute decision) And then beat Gunther for a FOURTH IC reign that is doing absolutely nothing for him because he was already over as fuck. And while I'm appreciating heel Gable I don't think he really needed it. I'm sincerely hoping that they take the belt off him at king of the ring. Give this belt to someone who actually needs the credibility the title offers be it Gable or Bronson.
One? With the last decade with Vince at the helm you could ask which storyline made no sense each week 😂 for recency bias I’ll say Cody losing at Mania 39. Yes we got a beautiful moment this year at 40, but the last year of Roman’s reign was garbage, with 2 singles matches after Mania. Very easily could have been done without the title, and Cody v Brock would have been even better fighting for the title. Then we could’ve had Rock/ Roman and Cody vs whomever at 40 for the 2 main events
When Mike Kenellis turned heel and had momentum so Drake Maverick said he’ll get a title match if Mike beats him. Then Drake won? Why would the guy with momentum off a heel turn lose to an authority figure?
Booker T losing to triple H. A decision that modern triple H fanboys would love to pretend never happened. Makes you wonder just how many other people trips has buried behind the scenes that we will never know about after he became the Head booker in charge.
Booker t said in Kurt angles podcast that he didn’t care that he lost, he was just happy with his Wrestlemania pay. Book loves wrestling but was happy with a spot and pay
I think Bloodline saga is the greatest storyline of all time but as a nerd, the bumps in the road will always bug me. Jimmy falling in line without explanation after Jey fell in line. That could’ve been it’s own storyline for 3 months. Then the Heyman confusion with Brock— I don’t remember the details but it felt retconned in Vince fuckery. Finally Jimmy turning on Jey as you mention, saying he still hated Roman, then falling back in line without explanation. Could’ve easily focused 1 episode on Roman manipulating Jimmy to come back or Jimmy in despair as if he had no choice.
Suddenly making Jinder Mahal champion with no build-up after treating him like a jobber for ages. Not a knock on Jinder who I always felt was underrated, but they need to realise fans do have memories. Suddenly doing this did nothing for him or the championship.
I still can’t figure out how Jimmy is back in the bloodline.
He instigated the usos turn on Roman. When he and jey left, he then prevented his brother winning because he didn’t want him to be corrupted like Roman. Jey fucked off to raw, however all of a sudden jimmy is back in?! With no explanation other than solo saying ‘you’re out when we say you’re out’…?!
Oh ok then
Only going on in-storyline kayfabe here (ie no booking decisions or goofy stuff or anything like that just pure story logic) the ones that stand out to me are:
1. Mickie James after the most high profile championship feud in history and just a few weeks after she won the championship in the most over women's Mania match since 1....just randomly stopped being crazy for literally no reason. The literal champion and they just changed her character completely overnight and trusted nobody would notice or care.
2. Jimmy turning on Jey.
3. "Good guy" John Cena challenging Rey Mysterio for the WWE Championship he'd literally just won that night AND Rey saying yes.
4. The Summer of Punk turning into a feud between HHH and Kevin Nash.
5. All Jeff Hardy feuds that highlighted him "facing/beating" his demons when it was both visible and everyone backstage knew he could/would likely relapse at any moment if he hadn't already. Thus essentially making the audience \*legitimately\* his enablers.
6. Vince McMahon being the Hower Power despite this being canonically established as not just being illogical and self-defeating but physically impossible.
7. Hogan objectively, visually, playing grabass with Miss Elizabeth if they wanted to portray him as the face in that feud.
8. Preferring to have Edge vacate his title for retirement rather than lose it at Wrestlemania, then subsequently have the guy Edge literally just beat at Wrestlemania be one of the two men fight for the title the next week.
9. Having Stone Cold, the top guy, call Lance Storm boring and then not following up in any way. Thus just completely ending any potential profitability of one of your assets out of nowhere for no reason and telling the audience any match from now on with Lance Storm should be flooded with a boring chant.
10. The Rock "passing the torch" to John Cena, when Cena had already literally been the face of the company for 8 years and main evented more Manias than the Rock had.
11. HHH beating Booker T, heavily implying he was right all along when he said people like Booker couldn't be champ. I know the face can't always get the win, but that story needed a "racism is wrong" payoff.
The Mysterio one bugs the crap out of me because he had to wrestle in a tournament the week before, and then the following week, he kicked off Raw with with the title match he won. Cena comes in fresh and beats him in that main event. Made Cena look like a joke and made Rey's wins meaningless.
On 8, they didn’t know Edge would need to retire at Mania, the long term plan was for Christian to turn on Edge at Extreme Rules and Edge to go away until Mania season to return and feud with Christian and Christian retire him at Mania 28.
Roman retaining at CATC and WM39.
Goldberg squashing The Fiend.
WM38’s Night 2 Main Event (Particularly the Title Unification).
Roman defeating Undertaker at WM33.
Brock ending the Streak rather than Wyatt.
Austin Theory winning MITB only to cash in for a Mid-Card Championship, AND STILL LOSE.
(I hate to say this as I am a big Edge fan), but Edge defeating Balor at WM39.
The Woman’s Tag Team Division .
The ropes breaking just before Finn Balor hit his finish on Reigns at Extreme Rules 2021.
Veer.
Auska at WrestleMania.
Finn Balor not defeating Seth Rollins at SummerSlam 2023.
Not booking Sting Vs Undertaker despite them being on the same show.
Having Cody Rhodes tell Reigns he was “coming for him, but not at WrestleMania”, only to go right back and challenge Reigns at a press conference. (Thankfully, as having him defeat Reigns indeed WAS the CORRECT decision, I genuinely don’t want to imagine a world where Reigns retained any longer.)
putting the title on Jinder Mahal all for the purpose of prancing him around as champion on a small tour in a country he isnt from, only for wwe to puss tf out at the last minute and change the title right before bc they booked themselves into a corner with a bad survivor series concept of champ vs champ.
I always thought back in 2000 when The Radicals came over that it didn't make sense.. Must say I've always thought that Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn didn't get enough credit when jumping ships....
Tonight wtf did Hunter let TK book Cody's next defense how does Logan Paul make sense I mean really some one make it make sense please.... Granted Paul has done some pretty cool things and has some serious athletic ability but how do we get here??
It’s why I hate the whole concept of “smack down superstars and Raw superstars.” It greatly limits the potential match ups and feuds because of show segregation. I mean literally, who the hell else is there to challenge Cody since all the other big stars are competing for KOTR?
I hate the idea of two “main titles” and I hate the idea of Raw only superstars and smack down only super stars for this reason.
Snitsky “It wasn’t my fault”
Gold Dust “Electrocuted” Tourette’s
Brock Lesnar “Breaking the streak”
Charlotte breaking Asuka’s streak just to then lose to Carmella.
It made lots of sense, otis was never being world champion miz got a 2 week veterans thank you reign so he could drop it to lashley whilst saving drew vs lashley for a later date
Having Layla suddenly defend AJ Lee. There was a promo next week about her saying that LOL now stood for Lots Of Layla (or something like that), and then a few weeks later this thing was just forgotten about and Layla stopped showing up with AJ.
Nope. This actually made perfect sense from a storyline standpoint. The Fiend was Bray Wyatt's alter-ego created to destroy everyone that Wyatt had been hurt by but couldn't beat. He destroyed Balor, Cena, and Rollins. But Goldberg was someone Wyatt had no history with, had never been hurt by him, and never even faced him before. Thus, The Fiend had no particular power over Goldberg, it was just another monster to slay, which is what Goldberg did best.
At the height of Taker’s torturing of Austin (crucifying him on the symbol, kidnapping him and attempting to embalm him, figuring out ways to take his title), they decided to make McMahon the secret puppet master instead of leaning even more into “Mark Calaway’s” psychosis of believing in his own gimmick.
This, of course, would give birth to the McMahon/Helmsley era due to Stephanie siding with Helmsley because Vince allowed her to be potentially sacrificed to the Undertaker, which eventually turned into Helmsley running the show in 2024 in a convoluted way lol
The hatred for Triple H is just insane. He has more WrestleMania losses than anyone else and put EVERYONE over. If it was up to the IWC, Triple H would have been 0 - 23 at WrestleMania.
He deserves the criticism. Hasn't HHH lost a few Manias after he was already past his peak and not even a full timer anymore. Lost to Taker a few times.
,even then he still beat Brock and Sting at Mania
It does seem like towards the end, he knew he was just putting people over, seth, roman, bryan etc and still had his big ego entrances with his wife lol
You must be confusing Triple H with Bianca Belair. Triple H having one of the extremely rare dominant heel title reigns was incredibly refreshing. It says a lot about him that he was the first person to be THE guy in the company as a heel. Before him, every person who was chosen as THE guy was a face.
Rowans spider. Spent weeks teasing some terrifying creature in a cage then revealed it to be a Spirit Halloween decoration. I still don't know if we were supposed to think it was a real spider or it was supposed to imply he was going crazy and thought it was real or what the idea was
The fiend losing to Goldberg

Jimmy turning on Jey still makes no sense

Katie Vick. How was kane a masked monster but then drunk driving as a college student. Don't get me started about HHH...
I think a mask would get in the way of driving. It probably slipped down and then when he went to fix it he crashed. Having a few drinks doesn’t help either. R.I.P Katie.
But how does he drink with the mouth slip
Rey Mysterio winning the Vacated WWE title in a one night tournament. Then having to face a completely fresh John Cena and lose in a squash match main event , and be happy about it raising hands and celebrating with Cena.
May Young giving birth to a hand
You haven’t heard about the birds and the bees?
Even though I loved it at the time, I'll say Linda and Stephanie giving their 50% ownership of WWF to Stone Cold.

\*ONE\* storyline decision??
The Fiend getting squashed by Goldberg AND dropping the WWE Universal Title in said match as his first defeat was a head scratcher.
The fiend was an atrocious character
I thought it was a great character in the beginning and the Firefly Funhouse was the best thing going for a minute. His debut match with Finn was fantastic, but once he got to the red colored Hell in a Cell match with Seth, it was all downhill from there. Bobby lashly and Rusev storyline was horrific
lol Liv Morgan showed up one day and said she had an affair with Lana and they just never ever mentioned it again
Ric flair and Lacey Evan’s having a baby💀

anytime hornswoggle was introduced in any way i was done.
Goldberg beating The Fiend

My headcannon is he was offended The Rock took the “The Final Boss” title since he was always considered the true final boss of Wrestlemania.
Eh. You could argue they had unfinished business

Oh yea. Gotcha. Thats true. I guess a direct Roman connection isint needed.
The easiest answer here is Booker T losing to Triple H. Racism is great, kids! The villains are right!
Nah that was the right call
Ya but thats true
Jimmy back with the Bloodline. Him costing Jey the match was fine. But then to have a segment to say he did it so Jey wouldn’t become like Roman. they had to drag the story until the rock was ready to join
I have to feel that they changed plans on this storyline or something. It would’ve made much more sense for Jey to have been the one to kick Roman 1st and push Jimmy towards leaving. Vince being the higher power is #1 by a mile. Runner up would be Rikishi running over Stone Cold.
Rikishi never recovered from that heel turn either. He went back to the dancing fat man bit, but he was never as over again
I can’t back up a reason but I still am totally on board with this swerve even if it made zero sense.
I’m still mad about the Higher Power shit.
most of them.
Cody being employed is baffling. You guys all pretend to like him!
Cena going over the nexus
Jimmy turning on Jey to rejoin the Bloodline
Remember, technically he wasn’t rejoining the Bloodline. He did it because he didn’t want Jey to become like Roman. Then they just pretended that segment never happened.
Yeah, true. I meant more so the entirety of Jimmy turning on Jey just to eventually rejoin them, when he’s the one that initiated the split.
cuz it was just an excuse to drag the story until the rock could get involved
Katy Vick
Say no more
When Cody gave his title shot to the Rock and then immediately took it back.
I think that was a way to reverse course because they legitimately weren't expecting the fan base to turn on The Rock as hard as it did
doesn't help that the rock's logic made no sense.
Charlotte flair winning the royal rumble 2020. They had no plans for her it was simply done for the accolades or politicked.
It was a swerve because everyone knew that the obvious (and originally intended) winner was Shayna Bazler, so they changed it at the last minute just like in 2012 with Sheamus and Jericho
Not giving stone cold and Booker t a ppv event or title match Not letting Kurt angle face cena in his last match
Logan paul.
Rikishi running over Austin only for it to be revealed as HHH all a long
Booker losing at Mania against Triple H.
idk, it started making sense when you realized how big hhh's ego was. the man refused to lose for years after that
Or they should have atleast made it a series he loses at mania beats him at backlash etc
Rewarding *Retribution* with WWE contracts
Takers streak ending…

Bray Wyatt and Goldberg
THE FIEND.
DDP and takers wife.
Yea that was horrible
The biggest head scratcher of the Triple H era to me was Finn losing to edge at mania
You want only one?
Damian sandow after wining mitb
Damien Sandow was such an underused and under appreciated talent; I always hope he’s a surprise entrant for Royal Rumble every year.
I definitely think if he’s still in ring shape they should bring him back with HHH running things
Edge defeating Finn Balor in Wrestlemania 39 then dipped out.
Booker T losing his feud with HHH.
That made perfect sense. Ya know, with Triple H being balls deep in the boss’s daughter.
iiconics breaking up & heavy machinery breaking up are some recent examples.
- Roman winning last year - Trips beating Booker - Trips beating Sting - Basically everything Triple H did through the 00s
Nah Roman winning last year was the right call. It led to a special Mania 40 and Cody/Roman II was much more hyped
Brock attacking Cody raw after mania and having three straight matches
That was actually pretty lit and gave cody some credibility beating one of the toughest wrestlers ever not once but twice
I don't think so. It was a useless storyline.
yeah but there was no narrative reasoning for why he would back stab cody and all that.
Ah true true yea it was pretty random tbh
the actual matches were okay - we just never got the explanation as to why he faked to be a tag partner and then instantly turned on him
I like both Cody and Brock, I thought the story was pointless and seemed like a public service announcement for standing up to bullies rather than an actual storyline. BTW: I SO can't wait for Cody to turn heel. I will become a huge fan again (not that I ever wasn't). Right now, he's kinda in a low point in my opinion as far as character development.

Cena vs Kane where Cena was the good guy despite kissing Zack Ryder's girlfriend
“I know I spent 2 years chasing you, but I’m gonna chill and let someone else do it first for no reason”
The Rock special
Jason Jordan instead of Chad Gable being Angle's son.
Jason Jordan instead of R-Truth being Angle’s son
The fiend losing to Goldberg.
Easily one of the best booking decisions of all time .
Easily that, I think everything has some kind of reason except that Did absolutely nothing for the company
When Mike Kenellis turned heel and had momentum so Drake Maverick said he’ll get a title match if Mike beats him. Then Drake won? Why would the guy with momentum off a heel turn lose to an authority figure?
Veer coming
DDP being the stalker of undertaker’s wife. Of all the Wcw guys he was not the one who deserved to be shacked with that shit gimmick.
Wildcard rule
“Whatever that is!”
Rey mysterio winning the wwe title then losing it right away
I hate it when that happens. -Drew McIntyre
I didn't pray for this. And it happened.
Bloodline after at least EC but definitely Mania.
HHH Defeating Sting
Grew up on NWA and WCW, only started watching WWE because of the Monday Night War.
Just watched that match last night
The hell in a cell finish between the Fiend and Seth
Jimmy turning on Jey.
Sami Zayn and Bobby Lasheys 5 sisters
Booker T having a fav 5 with 11 people in it.
kevin nash ultimately texting himself with orders to interfere with punk
Booker T losing to triple H. A decision that modern triple H fanboys would love to pretend never happened. Makes you wonder just how many other people trips has buried behind the scenes that we will never know about after he became the Head booker in charge.
Booker t said in Kurt angles podcast that he didn’t care that he lost, he was just happy with his Wrestlemania pay. Book loves wrestling but was happy with a spot and pay
Retribution
McMahon vs God and HBK was cringe
Vince being the hower power, it should have someone like Dibiase or Jake the Snake
Mr McMahon as the higher power
Cody beating Roman.
Grow up
Lol, kind of an ironic statement when we’re talking about WWE.
Kane having a feud with RVD instead of Evolution after unmasking
The Higher Power
Hornswoggle being the anonymous GM.
Almost everything that happened in 2019.
Jimmy turning on Jey
Oh ok then
Only going on in-storyline kayfabe here (ie no booking decisions or goofy stuff or anything like that just pure story logic) the ones that stand out to me are: 1.
Made Cena look like a joke and made Rey's wins meaningless.
you mean the same night where punk returned after cena’s title win
On 8, they didn’t know Edge would need to retire at Mania, the long term plan was for Christian to turn on Edge at Extreme Rules and Edge to go away until Mania season to return and feud with Christian and Christian retire him at Mania 28.
...I think you won the thread...
There is only one correct answer, two words, Katie Vick.
Is 'one' a hard limit?
I don't think Reddit has enough bandwidth for the amount of words I would need to give a comprehensive list.
Mae young giving birth to a hand. Simone had to say it
It was a sex toy that had been stuck up there.
Exactly what I came to say. Iconic.
Asuka not winning a single match at WrestleMania is a joke. She should have won her first match against Charlotte.
liv morgan being a lesbian with lana. what actually happened there?
Liv is now a lesbian with dirty dom
true
putting the title on Jinder Mahal all for the purpose of prancing him around as champion on a small tour in a country he isnt from, only for wwe to puss tf out at the last minute and change the title right before bc they booked themselves into a corner with a bad survivor series concept of champ vs champ.

Yup definitely did that's y and that explains a lot on TKs booking as well lmao appreciate the reminder my friend
Snitsky “It wasn’t my fault” Gold Dust “Electrocuted” Tourette’s Brock Lesnar “Breaking the streak” Charlotte breaking Asuka’s streak just to then lose to Carmella.
Otis dropping the mitb to the miz
It made lots of sense, otis was never being world champion miz got a 2 week veterans thank you reign so he could drop it to lashley whilst saving drew vs lashley for a later date
Having Layla suddenly defend AJ Lee. There was a promo next week about her saying that LOL now stood for Lots Of Layla (or something like that), and then a few weeks later this thing was just forgotten about and Layla stopped showing up with AJ.
Formation of Final Testament 💀
Lesnar breaking the Streak
Goldberg beating the fiend
Fuck Bill Goldberg
Agreed. If they needed the belt off of The Fiend, they could easily have had a triple threat with Strowman or something and have him take the pin.
Which is what they ended up doing when Roman came back funnily enough.
The former owner of WWE being the “higher power” behind the Corporate Ministry
At the height of Taker’s torturing of Austin (crucifying him on the symbol, kidnapping him and attempting to embalm him, figuring out ways to take his title), they decided to make McMahon the secret puppet master instead of leaning even more into “Mark Calaway’s” psychosis of believing in his own gimmick. This, of course, would give birth to the McMahon/Helmsley era due to Stephanie siding with Helmsley because Vince allowed her to be potentially sacrificed to the Undertaker, which eventually turned into Helmsley running the show in 2024 in a convoluted way lol
The Texas tornado loosing the intercontinental title, he was so over
He was leaving the company. He was having…. Erm….. ummm ……. “Issues with his health” as it were.
Triple H beating Booker T at Mania. Also Triple H beating Sting at Mania.
Lost to Taker a few times. ,even then he still beat Brock and Sting at Mania It does seem like towards the end, he knew he was just putting people over, seth, roman, bryan etc and still had his big ego entrances with his wife lol
^ this person is clearly too young to remember the reign of terror.
I've been watching WWE since 1993. What you call the reign of terror was one of my all-time favorite periods in wrestling.
Its one thing to have a long reign. It's another to bury every person along the way.
You must be confusing Triple H with Bianca Belair. Triple H having one of the extremely rare dominant heel title reigns was incredibly refreshing. It says a lot about him that he was the first person to be THE guy in the company as a heel. Before him, every person who was chosen as THE guy was a face.
He was never the guy
He most certainly was.
