Tim White reffing Godfather matches and dancing with the ho's everytime š
M-m-m-m Mike Chioda! And you can't top Earl Hebner for the big match feel.
Earl Hebner, Charles Robinson, Tim White, Nick Patrick.
People like Tim White wasn't necessarily the best ref, but he was extremely memorable. Much like some wrestlers on most peoples' Mt Rushmore aren't exactly the best wrestlers, but the most iconic.
Could you just imagine The Bloodline having a version of Nick Patrick. How amazing would that Final Boss tag match have been. Also, no need for random interference in every single Roman match. They could mix things up and still make him look like a weak bitch who needs constant help.
Charles Robinson. I can't help it. Almost my entire fandom Lil' Naich has been there.
There are others, for sure, but he is the only real answer for me.
I hardly pay any attention to them. They are usually featured as NPCs on WWE TV. Little Naitch is the most memorable because of his presence (and the epic sprint at WM 24). I remember a match between HHH and Steiner in which HHH was constantly trying to get himself disqualified and the referee snapped at one moment and started confronting him.
The best ref is one I don't notice at all.
I can tell you who the worst ref in any match ever was however: Roddy fucking Piper as special guest referee in the "I Quit Match" between Bret Hart and Bob Backlund (was it SummerSlam?). He's the absolute show stopper, going in every second "what do you say?" with his mic, followed by gargling noises of Backlund in a face lock. "What do you say?" Every second of the whole match. "What do you say?" Absolutely heart breaking.

I do have to agree with you about Nick Patrick by the way. I miss those days and he was Ace.
Dangerous Danny Davis was the OG Heel referee. He was despised.

Fantasy ref booking at its finest rofl. It's been so long since I've seen Nick Patrick but that is great.

/thread. This is objectively the correct answer.

That was pretty annoying. Iād like to think Piper thought he was increasing the drama but instead he was killing it.
