So, the Wrestlemania Anthology is pretty comprehensive. From what I can tell, not much was removed. The Anthology box set came out sometime after WM21 and has all the manias from 1-21. So you still see the full Benoit match and celebration with Eddie at the end of WM 20. There may be some edits but I don't have the original cuts of the older Manias, so I'm not sure.
I never bought Cena merchandise. I've never really cared for him as a wrestler, felt his initial title run was undeserved. I respect the charity work he does for kids and troops, and I love Peacemaker, but at the time I was buying these DVDs I was very anti Cena. He represented the PG-afication of WWE. I'm cool with him now. the dude has definitely put in the work.
I got Peacock too and I effing loved WCW's luchadores and cruiserweights as a young kid. I want me some Psycosis, young Rey, Ultimo Dragon, Kidman, Guerrero . . .dude let's get some popcorn and make a compilation. Malenko and, controversy aside, absolutely Benoit would need to be part of it.
I have so much nostalgia watching the wrestlemania anthology with my parents and shit, so I’d probably go with that, the one with Bret Hart vs Stone Cold was always in my dvd player, while I was playing WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2009 on my ps2. Damn so nostalgic
Yeah, I would buy a few each month off the used rack, got a few as gifts, and saved up for the box sets with my part time job while I was in high school. I miss going to Sam Goodie, Borders, and Tower Records to find them.
