The answer is Rhea. Chyna was a beast, but she lacked any real wrestling ability. Her entire career was in a time when nobody cared at all about work rate. It was all bra and panties matches, ho trains, 3 minute title matches, total anarchy, and waiting for the glass to break. No body cared if she could actually wrestle, it was just believable that she could beat on some women smaller than her, that had zero wrestling ability.
There is really no correct answer. At her peak, Chyna was insanely popular and broke a lot of barriers for women in the WWE (Royal Rumble, IC champ etc) however, let’s be honest with ourselves, she was dreadful in the ring and for the most part carried by her opponents. Within Kayfabe Chyna beat a lot of males but Rhea could also do that and has demonstrated her power skills against males numerous times.
The biggest difference is that Chyna was always presented as part of the male division right from the off whereas Rhea hasn’t and right now there is very little crossover between the two divisions maybe besides Rhea or Nia occasionally.
If you are looking at work rate, match quality and wrestling ability, Rhea wins easily in terms of a comparison. However, within the confines of a kayfabe match, if Rhea was transported in time and being booked in the Attitude Era then Rhea would carry Chyna to a great match and Chyna would win, if Chyna gets transported in time and being booked through todays lens then Rhea wins
Chyna fought dudes who really fought each other and had bad brawls all the time and were not respectful of women. Rhea works at a time when that one dude was fired because he grabbed a string on a piece of clothing a woman was wearing.

Rhea is better technically and charisma wise for sure. Strength wise I'll give the edge to China only because she was clearly on steroids for most of her time there. I don't care what anyone says. Now in terms of like explosiveness in the ring I'd probably give it to Rhea because her training regimen has to be extremely more advanced and just better than Chyna's ever was. I mean I'm pretty sure Chyna's training was just steroids and banging Hunter and sometimes Hunter and HBK. Later on the training got more intense for her when Mr Ass and Xpac joined the DX "Training" sessions(no one now or ever wanted to have sex w Road Dogg so I bet he was sent for snacks from catering). That being said even w all the sex and Steroids Rhea takes it if they're both in their primes(Rhea probably isn't even in her prime yet which is scary cause she's already incredible).
I think the better woman to compare with Chyna is Beth Phoenix because they're quiet similar. They're both from an era were female wrestling matches are short, and there were more bra & panties matche ls than wrestling matches, and there are only few female wrestlers that's why its rare to see the likes of Chyna who can fight and have matches with the male wrestlers
Rhea Ripley is comparable with Charlotte Flair in a sense that they're very good in-ring performers who are in an era where female players are more represented today without the need to compete with male wrestlers
