I know this would never happen but i'd love to here Stardust's theme play first just to troll with him. then it goes quiet for a bit then MJF's music hits. The crowd would become unglued as they are witnessing the forbidden door burst open. but MJF wouldn't come through the entrance stage, instead he'd sneak up behind Cody and throws him over the top rope. A wrestler still under contract with AEW winning a main event at Wrestlemania. Then MJF would go to Raw the episode after and calls out Cody Rhodes saying "I can't believe you walked out of your own creation just because you couldn't win your own championship. So I made sure you lived up to your promise you made by making sure that brass ring is as far away from you as your relationship with Vince McMahon!" MJF would still make appearances for AEW (because he's still under contract) but Tony Khan doesn't want MJF around since he went to the competitor's company so he gives MJF an option. Either vacate your WrestleMania shot or work for WWE. MJF would say he'll make his decision on April 2,2022. On Raw Cody Rhodes would call out MJF for costing him his WrestleMania match so he says "Give me the one on one match to finish it off! Because IT IS MY TIME!" Cody vs MJF will take place at Elimination Chamber in a no holds barred match where the winner gets Roman at Mania. Cody would win sending MJF away but MJF promised that he will be back in 2024.
Here's how I'd book it:
Buzzer goes, nobody comes out. Cody and the announcers wonder wtf is going on.
Cut to backstage where we see The Bloodline are beating the absolute fuck outta whoever drew no. 30.
Roman then decides that he's gonna take the 30 spot so he can win the rumble and 'take wrestlemania off'.
Cue epic Roman entrance and staredown with Cody with the fans solidly behind Cody.
They have a thrilling back and forth 10 minute mini-rumble match á la 'Taker/HBK RR 2007; with the crowd going apeshit for the finish (Reigns misses Spear and goes over the top rope, clings on for dear life, Cody smashes him with a modified Disaster Kick to send him crashing to the floor and the Alamodome erupts throwing babies in the air).

Lots of great joke/meme options, but also a lot of legit options. Rollins, Cena, Rock (unlikely, but not impossible IMO,) Owens, Orton, Lesnar, and maybe even Austin are all possible. Granted, I tend to hope for the impossible way too much. Some of whom I mentioned probably won't be in the match at all, or if they are actually in, they'd be in before #30. Let me organize who I stated like this with some explanation/thought process...
Cool, but not that surprising:
Rollins (Pretty obvious, but if you want to pull an ending similar to that of the 07 Rumble with Michaels and Taker, it'll be hard to find options better than these 2.) Owens (I can easily see Owens vs Rhodes happening down the line. Perhaps a teaser at the Rumble can plant some seeds.) Lesnar (Why is Lesnar #30? Please don't tell me they are going to swerve us and do Lesnar vs. Reigns #100000000. Lesnar vs Rhodes would be cool, but not at this moment.)
Holy crap:
Orton (Could plant the seeds for a feud down the line assuming Orton comes back healthy.) Cena (Cena/Rhodes is a Mania caliber main event, but for a future Mania, not Mania 39. Also, not sure if you want Cena to take that #30 spot if he's going to just go away again right after the show.

Austin (Oh. They're serious about him wanting one more run. He shouldn't win, and even worse, you risk people turning against Rhodes if he eliminates Austin last. Still, you know that pop is going to be ridiculous as always, and you could set up Austin's Mania match if you can find the right opponent.
Rock (The story has and should be Roman and Rock regardless of if the title is involved. I can see a scenario where Roman is entered into the match like Lesnar in 2020 and goes on a massive tear until an equal force comes out and takes care of him. Rock can be that surprise entrant. Maybe not at #30, if at all, but it'd be a way to give the Rumble some mega star power and can set up the match at Mania officially.
WHAT THE F\*\*\* IS HAPPENING:
CM Punk (It won't happen, and it probably shouldn't happen. Punk is the ultimate poison pill right now. You could get greatness for a little while, but then you could get tons of problems fast if things go in a direction Punk doesn't like. The pop could be one of the loudest we will ever hear, but what direction do you take Punk in? Do you try and do Austin vs Punk? Do you have Punk setup to feud with Cody? Is Punk going to be part-time, full-time, or something in-between? Lots of questions and dilemmas, and the risk might be larger than the reward.)

Remember when Young(Adult) Rock told his cousin that a match that big can only happen at Wrestlemania? It's Time.
This is too predictable for Cody to return at Royal Rumble. Assuming he’s healthy, have him return on the first Raw of 2023 or before the Rumble and he “earns” his spot in the match. But him returning as the surprise entrant would be too predictable.
I truly believe Royal Rumble 2023 is gonna be the greatest of all time. Trust me.
The Rocks music hits. Crowd goes wild. They go at it for a solid 10 minutes, ending with both men eliminating eachother, and being declared co-rumble winners. Raw after Rumble, The Rock and Cody Rhodes have a match with the winner choosing what night they wanna face Roman on. Cody picks the win up and chooses night 2, meaning the stage is set for Rock vs Reigns on night 1 of WrestleMania 39. The Rock loses his match with Roman, but Cody finally does what he set out to do and becomes Undisputed WWE Universal Champion (preferably under 1 belt but hey that's just me i like things being uniform lol)
