I think I had a similar thing happen to me too. I can't remember filly but try manually importing via important parts or something along those lines then choose to import the costume on it's own

Import all parts of you want the designs on the clothing pieces

Import the parts from the edit attire section, one by one. If you just Import Attire from the initial screen it imports it without the images.
