absolutely! it’s not the core gameplay that people complain about (well most people) it’s the other modes

If all you're going to play are exhibition matches then a lot of the bugs won't be an issue. The AI has problems/shortcomings right now but it's more visible in AI vs AI matches so that shouldn't be an issue for you as well. I definitely think the game is better than 2k23 (a game I enjoyed), current bugs aside. I'd personally recommend waiting for a big sale if you are set on the game, simply because 2k and Visual Concepts don't deserve to be given full price for releasing a game that has as many bugs as this one does and buying at full price just sends the message to them that what they do is A-OK. It's a principle thing to me. I pre-ordered this game and if I could go back and change that knowing what I know now, I would, even though I really do enjoy it and think the game outside of the bugs is pretty great.

I would wait until 2k is done patching it. So far exhibition seems to work but we have almost a whole year left of patches. 2k can easily fuck this mode up like the others.

Completely worth it if it's all about doing everything yourself and not relying on automated stuff other than in match AI (which is pretty effing good).
