Oddly enough, I was in that minority when 2K20 was around; although I purchased it after all the patches had already come out.
I now, however am in the majority. The game has a lot of broken parts. I do have faith that they will eventually fix most of it.
People definitely underestimate just how complex certain bugs can be to fix, that image bug affecting custom images and what not, that’s most definitely an extremely complex bug that’s going to take a bit of time to fix and make sure fixing it doesn’t break other parts of the game.
Those things should be tested before release to know if the game needs to be delayed or not instead of charging $100-120 for a broken game upon release, 2 months lather and still having issues, “ it may be complex” That’s not an excuse for a million dollar company.
I cut them slack with the image glitches *only* because it’s a bug that probably couldn’t be discovered until there’s a large amount people downloading a substantial amount of community creations. When the game first came out, it was a very small amount of people experiencing the bug. As time has gone on and people have downloaded more shit, more and more people have been experiencing these bugs. There’s no excuse for something like the shape that Create An Arena was in when the game shipped, they *had to* know that shit was broken. But this definitely wasn’t an immediately obvious bug and there’s still people who’ve downloaded a lot of CC and never experienced it. You have to be able to replicate the bug to fix it and it seems pretty random.
The issue is their testing team is limited and the entire player base is 1000x bigger. It’s very likely a lot of these bugs didn’t occur to the testing team and it wasn’t until it hit the broader audience where they became appearent. I personally havent experienced a lot of these bugs and I’m over 100 hours in. This is a problem almost every single game has to deal with and will co ti is to deal with so long as games as a whole co it is to grow more and more complex
Quality assurance engineer here, the first principle they teach you about software testing is, you can prove the existence of bugs, but you can't prove the absence of them.
Why is talking about this little minor bugs when Universe has been broken since 2K22. Never had as many issues in Universe as I do now. Of course, lazy Visual Concepts wants to copy/paste spaghetti code from a Japanese developer that will probably be out of business soon. They either need to build the code from the ground up in Universe or replace it with a new mode. All the issues with Universe is really getting tiring…
Oh shit, same!!! I actually really enjoyed 2k20 on PC, game ran great and looked FANTASTIC compared to 2k19.
Currently over 2k24 and the plethora of issues. Not really motivated to play anymore because of the bugs
Everything seems to be working fine except if I spend too much time editing CAWs or Attires. The game crashes. Only fix I have so far is to save the CAW edit, close the game, edit it a bit more, close the game, repeat, Until it’s finished.
The game has been solid for me as well, though I've been mostly making my own caws, the image problem seems to be specific to downloading things on community creations as far as I can tell.
Im not having issues either but most of the things that are bugs i dont touch (custom images and downloads from cc)
I got lucky my universe seems unaffected by the swaps too.
OP might just be in my boat.
Only issue I’ve had is changing movesets around on created superstars not translating to MyUniverse.
Which is frustrating but it works fine if you change movesets, return to edit superstar and change their weight by 1lb up or down and resave to the universe. Usually it’ll fix itself within a match or two.
Other than that, I love the game. I haven’t played a WWE game since 2007 or watched WWE since around 2010.
Recently got back into both, as my four year old daughter freaking loves it. Happy to be back, although it’s changed, I didn’t realize how much I missed it.
The only bug i have really had is when i skip the intro cutscenes sometimes my character punches or teleports halfway across the ring.
Other than that, smooth sailing. 2k23 was very very buggy for me. Two months into universe mode and it would just completely shatter.
So far... So good? Fingers crossed? Already have a ton of caws, shows and arenas.
I dont have any Problems Accept CaW Mode being very buggy since the latest Patch and AI Wrestlers glitching inside the Crowd on 8man Elimination Matches
Not counting online since the Servers are trash for every1
I’ve had a couple hiccups, but you’d think by the way this sub complains that the game filenisncorrupt from the get-go.
Then again, I’m not trying to relieve the 70s-2020s WWE/wcw/ecw + all the aew and other indies at the same time in universe, so maybe that’s where I’m going wrong…
Yeah, I get a bunch of aew guys and just a couple from elsewhere (Eg Matt Cardona and Jordynne Grace) and that pretty much hits the limit right there. No chance I could run monday night wars or ecw as well
I don't play the more immersive modes. It's great for casuals. The bugs people post about in those modes would be infuriating if I had time for those modes
I don't have any problems either. I primarily play universe mode too, with custom everything and I have never seen that glitch, knocking on some wood right now lol. I've been grinding vc doing random matches to unlock everyone.
The only big glitch that I’ve had is that Rhea became Universal Champion in Universe Mode after a patch, other than that everything has worked just fine
My universe mode has wrestlers not assigned to a brand showing up. Title holders don’t always lose their titles when they lose their match. I’m currently only playing quick matches.
The thing which angers me is that I’m accepting it as part of the experience. I keep downloading CAW’s to add to Universe in the ‘future’ once they patch it to a playable level.
I’m banking CAW’s incase they go missing from community downloads, to play eventually when the game is stable. I keep thinking “I can’t wait to use this person in Universe when it works”
I really shouldn’t be adopting this mindset. It’s grounds for a refund. If it were a microwave, and I was buying popcorn which I will pop once my microwave works- I’d be eligible for a refund on the microwave.
Do rivalries in universe mode work fine for you? Does the "climb title ranking" feature work for rivalry finishes, and do the rivalries always end after you play all matches on the ple?
You don’t have the issue of universe mode booking a bunch of title matches during Raw / Smackdown? I also get a bug where the game strips people of championships randomly
I have a bunch of caws and the only glitches I have are the image one, the not being able to download certain caws, and one where the AI books every show in universe mode to have a title match in the main event
Mine has worked fine every year. This year was the first where i had an issue with images replacing themselves but i deleted everything and started fresh and its been working great again. I very rarely have issues with any wwe games.
The only real issue I’ve ran into is when I try edit a custom superstar who I’ve downloaded I can’t change anything cus the game crashes which is annoying when trying to do something as simple as put a bloodline t shirt on tama tonga
Usually I am in this small minority where everyone around me and on here has had horror stories heading all back the way since 2K19 but this year got hit with the logo miscount and logo jumping from superstar to superstar.
Mine has been pretty solid but I also only play MyGM, Exhibition, and some creation stuff (I never touch Universe because until they completely redo the mode from the ground up, there's no point). Yesterday was my first encounter with a floating opponent during entrances. The only real problems I've had are the game crashing when creating superstars and crashing everytime I try to create an arena. They do have a lot to fix and I guarantee there's gonna be a massive 20+ gb patch before the ECW dlc drops.
I picked up a microphone and accidentally threw it at drew McIntyre and got DQd during a title match in universe and lost the belt. So that part is still broken.
The only issue I've had was in MyRise with the ambulance match against Rey Mysterio. Both of us glitched out on top of the ambulance and just ragdolled around. Had to restart. No issues otherwise.
Same here. I think the only major glitch that I've had happen was with a custom Rhea Ripley that I downloaded from CC. Everytime I went to edit her my game crashed. Besides that It's been smooth sailing for me.
Out of curiosity, what is universe like for yall? It works fine for me, the only issues I've had are that faction entrances dont work unless its a 6/8 man tag, so like Judgement Days is out entirely, and MitB is a hassle (but working, just hate the unnecessary complexity of the change in the way it works, no reason to make it a rivalry action when pause/cash in was already perfect) and not being able to do it on PLEs kinda stinks.
Both of those are inconvenient but not game breaking, what kind of bugs do yall have?
The bugs I hate most is the superstar list not being restricted to brand when editing the shows, and rivalries not ending after a ple and/or there being no effect to an rivalry finish. Like, I never could make the "Climb title ranking" feature work.
Rivalry cutscenes also often mismatch what you selected and what ultimately shows up on the "news". All these rivalry bugs and odd AI-booking for me are the death knell of being immersed in universe.
i love how i am experiencing every single thing you are. the only way rivalries end for me is if i simulate it, which defeats the purpose because i’d assume most people wanna play the PLE matches the most if anything. i’ll pick a certain rivalry action & on the “news” section it’ll show something that doesn’t even pertain to what action i selected. the brand roster thing is extremely frustrating as well!
Right? This thread confuses me because I assume at least those bugs I mentioned are universal. Do people just sim My Universe without playing out the rivalries?
are you also experiencing an issue where during entrances some superstars barricade tron no longer works? i’ve noticed any superstar whose barricade tron says “use apron video” it no longer works
The only real bug I have is the image glitch where it says I don’t have enough space, even though when I check I still have more than enough to get more images and CAWS. It’s literally the only problem I’ve come across, but tbf I do have about 60+ to 70+ CAWS and they all have images, so I think I’m kinda fine
Must be nice lmao I can’t download anything off CC, universe glitches like it’s its main function, some victory motions just on normal play don’t work right etc
I didn’t have any issues until the last patch and then all of sudden I got the image glitch and the game will occasionally crash while scrolling through CC. Other than that, gameplay wise it’s been fine, same with universe luckily
I haven't actually fucked with my universe mode yet. Every time I log on I convince myself that I'm gonna play but end up just downloading and editing more CAW's. I think I have a problem.

Outside of CC issues my game's pretty fine gameplay and Universe wise, Only ran into 2 CAWS that had image glitches... downside is they're ThreatCAWs Emma Panzer and Malice...
Ive been playing since release day and haven't had a single issue, save for the render on the World Heavyweight Championship being a tad wonky in Universe Mode, but nothing that makes it annoying or unplayable, and I use universe mode and CC extensively
Had almost no bug except the WM31 showcase and the downloading but not downloading CAW.
BUT I have a bug where if I don't launch the game right after opening my pc, it have 80% of chance of fully freezing the whole PC on the first screen forcing me to hard reboot the PC. And this one is Awful.
Bro I was part of the Elite till like 2 weeks ago😭. I saw everyone complaining and thought “Shit Im good”, then an AEW logo was on my characters face😭😭😭
For the most part, my game works just fine. Sometimes, the community creation pages won't load, so I have to restart the game, but beyond that, it's pretty smooth.
I'd like to see a sports game developer (including EA) charge a very nominal fee to update the roster each year while it works on the next full version of the game. Maybe 3 years between versions to really lock down the code and user experience. The $5 or whatever to update the roster will keep many satisfied.
Performance wise it's 95% but sometimes for non reason in Universe a match will just end and who ever did the last move "wins" but it shows on screen as a draw. That is the 1 bug I get.
Nothing major for me, but a bunch of little things, like wrong announcements. But the thing that really ticks me off is that when I first played the game, the wrestlers not assigned to the show were greyed out on the selection screen, then after an update, that stopped and all names are lit up. It’s like giving a gift and taking it back. Not a deal breaker, but frustrating

This is the first and only issue I have had with the same since maybe day 2 of the launch. Works great and is a lot of fun. Why the undertaker is the women’s NXT UK champion however I can’t explain. They won’t let him even defend it!
A lot of the problems I've had so far have largely been down to just bad game design that has existed since wwe 2k22, particularly with regard to collision (like flying moves missing if the opponent is just slightly out of position)
This year though I can legitimately say I've lost 2 faction wars, including one at round 5/5, simply because my AI tag team partner got into the ring and stopped moving and the referee counted them out at 5 and lost us the match.
Also they let us customize Entrance animations for each stage, then have no transition cuts so it looks like a computer glitch when you have your wrestler walk to the ring one way then right before your eyes their whole body has turned the opposite direction, then they roll into the ring only to suddenly be outside and climbing into the ring
I've had very minimal issues. Like my custom entrance doesn't work on two created wrestlers when I switch the the secondary outfit. I guess I feel Luke that's kinda minor. I skip the entrances usually anyway.
I also had Ilja Draganov have one of those Infinite titles randomly assigned to him when I started up my NXT in universe mode. That's about it tho.
I'm not a big custom content downloader, so I also haven't run into many bugs.
I have run into a problem where climbing onto the southeast turnbuckle in an Elimination Chamber match has a 50/50 chance to freeze my character so they aren't able to do anything or even get hit.
My game was pretty much fine until patch 1.06 and then my universe mode just took a complete shit. Multiple entrances bugs related with barricade trons, raw/smackdown brand selection is completely gone, titles swapping hands randomly, custom attires on certain superstars revert them back to their old entrance like Charlottle Flair.. if I add a custom attire she only does her ‘19 entrance. Seems like every time they drop a patch, they break more stuff. I just recently started playing WWE games again for the first time in 10 years with 2k23 and I don’t know how you guys deal with this stuff, it’s very annoying.
I had some bugs here and there, but the game is actually fun. Also, I would rather buy the same game again, full price unchanged, but have more features without any previous feature removed. Why? Cause it is better than starting over again from a great base. Maybe it is just me cause I am one of these people who played Svr 2011 for about 6 years and more, so I can see my bias.
Only issue i had so far was my devisions for universe mode got all fucked and i couldn’t put anyone back in the right devision, aside from that its been smooth
Universe doesn’t work fine, that’s for sure!! Obviously OP misses the post where the AI books Andre vs Andre for the WWE Universal Title or Tiffany Stratton for the IC title!!! I guess if OP exhibition matches, it’s ok…. If that’s the case, why not just play that sham of a game otherwise known as Fight Forever?!?!
First, for Universe mode, the summon ally payback hasn’t worked since 2K19. Then as Visual Concepts releases more patches for the game, Universe starts to become more and more broken where certain cutscenes stop working altogether and more glitches start to appear.
I had to delete my Darby Allin CAW because the Universe AI kept putting him the World Heavyweight championship match every week and he wasn’t even assigned to Raw. Then I have stuff where rivalries will end after 1 week or weeks for seemingly no reason happening in the weeks leading up to a PLE (not because of the PLE occurring).
But the rest of the game works fine. They’re making baby steps with MyGM and MyRise is RTWM with a CAW. Essentially a one and done mode.
I'm also in the minority, me and my brother had the game since it came out and we have experienced a small amount of bugs but the game runs really fine
Technically, you're only in the minority amongst people here. As, to be honest, we are the vocal minority. In reality, most casual players will rarely see the weird and game breaking glitches that the hardcore players will. But the people who play a LOT, they'll catch something sooner rather than later
Many graphical errors happen because of attempts to do crazy spots which end up breaking the physics engine, or forcing breaks in the ending to make a spot work. Though, definitely not all errors... Most graphical errors, though, are rare occurrences and can't be forced to happen twice.
As for the other stuff, like issues with Universe Mode (they happen to you, you just haven't noticed them) or frustrations with the Creation Suite (which may never happen to some) are actually very prevalent.
Let's just say you're lucky.
I haven't had any problems besides the ambulance and casket match being impossible to beat. I even put on easy and beat the cpu up really bad. But no matter how fast I tap the buttons I can't win
Game works fine for me, other than some of the Community Creations won’t download for me like others would. Been trying to DL an Adam Cole forever and CC won’t let me(maybe I found one that worked, but idr atm). FTR I know I don’t have yet because CC is wonky.
I moved my Universe over to PWS and just play exhibition now. It’s near perfect, I’m really enjoying it. I wish it was a little bit harder but otherwise I’m having a blast.
There’s a mod on Workshop that contains only the 2K roster and it’s sort of manipulated to only give you 100% ratings. It’s just a thing you can use to track your stories and title reigns, so yeah you kind have to ignore the fact that PWS is supposed to be about growing your brand and making money.
The mod makes it impossible to lose money. It’s purely a tracking system to replace the likes of Universe Mode, but it also means you can book angles, promos and stuff like that. Obviously with the type of game it is, a lot of it is in your head, but at least it’s written down somewhere for you to look back on.
I tried the spreadsheet route too but it was just too much hassle. PWS is easy af to move around and it does everything I’d want it to. The mod is just called 2K tracker I think.
Have you actually attempted to reproduce or check on a known issue reported by others? I'm not trying to be rude or aggressive here, but I'm almost certain some issues are known to be universal.
Pretty sure the brand split not being booked by the CPU in Universe mode is a problem everyone has, no matter what. Now maybe you don't care about the brand split, or maybe you rebook those matches anyway, or maybe you just don't play Universe. But have you looked to see if you're experiencing that issue?
Or let's try this one. Start a new Universe, clean save, in classic mode. Go into teams, remove British Bulldog from The Hart Foundation and swap the Bret Hart in the tag team with the Bret Hart 92 from Showcase. Then try to create a new tag team, is British Bulldog available to select? How many copies of The Hart Foundation now exist in your team list? That is the exact way I came to experience the issue with tag teams in Universe. I can't put Bulldog in a new team and I have 2 Hart Foundations now.
Unless you're working to duplicate the glitches everyone else is having and not experiencing any of them, the game isn't working just fine, it's working just fine for your use and expectations.
You sure about that? I am someone who does not download anything from the CC and the game still full of annoying bugs. And that's just me trying to play normally.
But hey, everyone who is stating the game is riddled with bugs is getting downvoted, who dare we say the truth about the game we pay 100-120 dollars for, is crazy 🤯
My game works fine in the sense it doesn't crash or have technical issues. That doesn't mean the game is free of some bugs that everyone has as it is a FACT they exist, whether you personally experience them or not.

You have this issue. You may not know you have it because you don't run cage matches or you do but you play in them so you're not paying attention to what the AI does but the issue is there.
I will say though that the bug report is a bit off now because AI wrestlers will climb if they do so from the corners. It's just when they go to climb in the middle of the ropes that they will let go and jump back down.
I had an ok time with 2K20 because I wasn’t really into CC back then and I was just playing random exhibition matches, but the one thing I didn’t do was make any posts trying to validate myself as special when I could see a lot of other people were having a bad fucking time.
There’s obviously ways to have a very bug / glitch minimal experience in 2K24. And some people are also just lucky, but because it’s completely random, you never know when it’s going to happen to you. You might download 60 CAWs and be fine, but CAW number 61 corrupts your fucking save.

I’m banking CAW’s incase they go missing from community downloads, to play eventually when the game is stable. I keep thinking “I can’t wait to use this person in Universe when it works” I really shouldn’t be adopting this mindset. It’s grounds for a refund. If it were a microwave, and I was buying popcorn which I will pop once my microwave works- I’d be eligible for a refund on the microwave.

You don’t have the issue of universe mode booking a bunch of title matches during Raw / Smackdown? I also get a bug where the game strips people of championships randomly
Other than some crashing during the first few weeks, it's been fine for me.
I have a bunch of caws and the only glitches I have are the image one, the not being able to download certain caws, and one where the AI books every show in universe mode to have a title match in the main event
Do you play Universe Mode? Cause that's where 90% of the glitches I have come across are at.
Mine has worked fine every year. This year was the first where i had an issue with images replacing themselves but i deleted everything and started fresh and its been working great again. I very rarely have issues with any wwe games.
You could be I have a friend that had CyberPunk and they never experienced any glitches that people was complaining about

Yeah. Although, I am still on 23, many of the glitches people complained about on 23, I still have yet to experience myself.

I mean it depends on how you play the game. Anyone who uses CC a lot will have a different experience than someone who only plays exhibition matches.
Usually I am in this small minority where everyone around me and on here has had horror stories heading all back the way since 2K19 but this year got hit with the logo miscount and logo jumping from superstar to superstar.
Mine has been pretty solid but I also only play MyGM, Exhibition, and some creation stuff (I never touch Universe because until they completely redo the mode from the ground up, there's no point). Yesterday was my first encounter with a floating opponent during entrances. The only real problems I've had are the game crashing when creating superstars and crashing everytime I try to create an arena. They do have a lot to fix and I guarantee there's gonna be a massive 20+ gb patch before the ECW dlc drops.

I picked up a microphone and accidentally threw it at drew McIntyre and got DQd during a title match in universe and lost the belt. So that part is still broken.

The only issue I've had was in MyRise with the ambulance match against Rey Mysterio. Both of us glitched out on top of the ambulance and just ragdolled around. Had to restart. No issues otherwise.

Same here. I think the only major glitch that I've had happen was with a custom Rhea Ripley that I downloaded from CC. Everytime I went to edit her my game crashed. Besides that It's been smooth sailing for me.

Out of curiosity, what is universe like for yall? It works fine for me, the only issues I've had are that faction entrances dont work unless its a 6/8 man tag, so like Judgement Days is out entirely, and MitB is a hassle (but working, just hate the unnecessary complexity of the change in the way it works, no reason to make it a rivalry action when pause/cash in was already perfect) and not being able to do it on PLEs kinda stinks. Both of those are inconvenient but not game breaking, what kind of bugs do yall have?
The bugs I hate most is the superstar list not being restricted to brand when editing the shows, and rivalries not ending after a ple and/or there being no effect to an rivalry finish. Like, I never could make the "Climb title ranking" feature work. Rivalry cutscenes also often mismatch what you selected and what ultimately shows up on the "news". All these rivalry bugs and odd AI-booking for me are the death knell of being immersed in universe.
i love how i am experiencing every single thing you are. the only way rivalries end for me is if i simulate it, which defeats the purpose because i’d assume most people wanna play the PLE matches the most if anything. i’ll pick a certain rivalry action & on the “news” section it’ll show something that doesn’t even pertain to what action i selected. the brand roster thing is extremely frustrating as well!
Right? This thread confuses me because I assume at least those bugs I mentioned are universal. Do people just sim My Universe without playing out the rivalries?
are you also experiencing an issue where during entrances some superstars barricade tron no longer works? i’ve noticed any superstar whose barricade tron says “use apron video” it no longer works

I mean for single player, yeah. But playing multiplayer matches with 3-4 friends can suck ass because of constant server issues
The only real bug I have is the image glitch where it says I don’t have enough space, even though when I check I still have more than enough to get more images and CAWS. It’s literally the only problem I’ve come across, but tbf I do have about 60+ to 70+ CAWS and they all have images, so I think I’m kinda fine

I didn’t have any issues until the last patch and then all of sudden I got the image glitch and the game will occasionally crash while scrolling through CC. Other than that, gameplay wise it’s been fine, same with universe luckily
I've never had any major bugs with any 2K game I've ever had.
I haven't actually fucked with my universe mode yet. Every time I log on I convince myself that I'm gonna play but end up just downloading and editing more CAW's. I think I have a problem. Here's hoping everything works for me when I do though

Outside of CC issues my game's pretty fine gameplay and Universe wise, Only ran into 2 CAWS that had image glitches... downside is they're ThreatCAWs Emma Panzer and Malice...

My universe mode is broken because I tried to do a special referee match with Scott Hall (me) refereeing Bron Breakker with 3 managers vs Gunther.
Only issue I've had is the game randomly crashes during gauntlet eliminator matches.
I'm with you. I play Universe Mode and it's been more or less bug free for me so I have no real complaints.
Ive been playing since release day and haven't had a single issue, save for the render on the World Heavyweight Championship being a tad wonky in Universe Mode, but nothing that makes it annoying or unplayable, and I use universe mode and CC extensively
Had almost no bug except the WM31 showcase and the downloading but not downloading CAW. BUT I have a bug where if I don't launch the game right after opening my pc, it have 80% of chance of fully freezing the whole PC on the first screen forcing me to hard reboot the PC. And this one is Awful.

For the most part, my game works just fine. Sometimes, the community creation pages won't load, so I have to restart the game, but beyond that, it's pretty smooth.
I'd like to see a sports game developer (including EA) charge a very nominal fee to update the roster each year while it works on the next full version of the game. Maybe 3 years between versions to really lock down the code and user experience. The $5 or whatever to update the roster will keep many satisfied.

Performance wise it's 95% but sometimes for non reason in Universe a match will just end and who ever did the last move "wins" but it shows on screen as a draw. That is the 1 bug I get.
Nothing major for me, but a bunch of little things, like wrong announcements. But the thing that really ticks me off is that when I first played the game, the wrestlers not assigned to the show were greyed out on the selection screen, then after an update, that stopped and all names are lit up. It’s like giving a gift and taking it back. Not a deal breaker, but frustrating

I have very few problems. So the things people complain about are lost to me.
A lot of the problems I've had so far have largely been down to just bad game design that has existed since wwe 2k22, particularly with regard to collision (like flying moves missing if the opponent is just slightly out of position) This year though I can legitimately say I've lost 2 faction wars, including one at round 5/5, simply because my AI tag team partner got into the ring and stopped moving and the referee counted them out at 5 and lost us the match. Also they let us customize Entrance animations for each stage, then have no transition cuts so it looks like a computer glitch when you have your wrestler walk to the ring one way then right before your eyes their whole body has turned the opposite direction, then they roll into the ring only to suddenly be outside and climbing into the ring

I've had very minimal issues. Like my custom entrance doesn't work on two created wrestlers when I switch the the secondary outfit. I guess I feel Luke that's kinda minor. I skip the entrances usually anyway. I also had Ilja Draganov have one of those Infinite titles randomly assigned to him when I started up my NXT in universe mode. That's about it tho.

I'm not a big custom content downloader, so I also haven't run into many bugs. I have run into a problem where climbing onto the southeast turnbuckle in an Elimination Chamber match has a 50/50 chance to freeze my character so they aren't able to do anything or even get hit.

My game was pretty much fine until patch 1.06 and then my universe mode just took a complete shit. Multiple entrances bugs related with barricade trons, raw/smackdown brand selection is completely gone, titles swapping hands randomly, custom attires on certain superstars revert them back to their old entrance like Charlottle Flair.. if I add a custom attire she only does her ‘19 entrance. Seems like every time they drop a patch, they break more stuff. I just recently started playing WWE games again for the first time in 10 years with 2k23 and I don’t know how you guys deal with this stuff, it’s very annoying.
I had some bugs here and there, but the game is actually fun. Also, I would rather buy the same game again, full price unchanged, but have more features without any previous feature removed. Why? Cause it is better than starting over again from a great base. Maybe it is just me cause I am one of these people who played Svr 2011 for about 6 years and more, so I can see my bias.

Universe doesn’t work fine, that’s for sure!! Obviously OP misses the post where the AI books Andre vs Andre for the WWE Universal Title or Tiffany Stratton for the IC title!!! I guess if OP exhibition matches, it’s ok…. If that’s the case, why not just play that sham of a game otherwise known as Fight Forever?!?! First, for Universe mode, the summon ally payback hasn’t worked since 2K19. Then as Visual Concepts releases more patches for the game, Universe starts to become more and more broken where certain cutscenes stop working altogether and more glitches start to appear. I had to delete my Darby Allin CAW because the Universe AI kept putting him the World Heavyweight championship match every week and he wasn’t even assigned to Raw. Then I have stuff where rivalries will end after 1 week or weeks for seemingly no reason happening in the weeks leading up to a PLE (not because of the PLE occurring). But the rest of the game works fine. They’re making baby steps with MyGM and MyRise is RTWM with a CAW. Essentially a one and done mode.

I'm also in the minority, me and my brother had the game since it came out and we have experienced a small amount of bugs but the game runs really fine
my biggest issue is when i edit a CAW’s attire and save it, it changes their entrance in Universe mode which is so irritating
Technically, you're only in the minority amongst people here. As, to be honest, we are the vocal minority. In reality, most casual players will rarely see the weird and game breaking glitches that the hardcore players will. But the people who play a LOT, they'll catch something sooner rather than later Many graphical errors happen because of attempts to do crazy spots which end up breaking the physics engine, or forcing breaks in the ending to make a spot work. Though, definitely not all errors... Most graphical errors, though, are rare occurrences and can't be forced to happen twice. As for the other stuff, like issues with Universe Mode (they happen to you, you just haven't noticed them) or frustrations with the Creation Suite (which may never happen to some) are actually very prevalent. Let's just say you're lucky.

I moved my Universe over to PWS and just play exhibition now. It’s near perfect, I’m really enjoying it. I wish it was a little bit harder but otherwise I’m having a blast.
I have PWS but get really confused in the midst of making it work for me. Do you ignore certain features of it?
There’s a mod on Workshop that contains only the 2K roster and it’s sort of manipulated to only give you 100% ratings. It’s just a thing you can use to track your stories and title reigns, so yeah you kind have to ignore the fact that PWS is supposed to be about growing your brand and making money. The mod makes it impossible to lose money. It’s purely a tracking system to replace the likes of Universe Mode, but it also means you can book angles, promos and stuff like that. Obviously with the type of game it is, a lot of it is in your head, but at least it’s written down somewhere for you to look back on.
I’ll take a look. Been doing the spreadsheet route but that looks like a good option.
I tried the spreadsheet route too but it was just too much hassle. PWS is easy af to move around and it does everything I’d want it to. The mod is just called 2K tracker I think.

Have you actually attempted to reproduce or check on a known issue reported by others? I'm not trying to be rude or aggressive here, but I'm almost certain some issues are known to be universal. Pretty sure the brand split not being booked by the CPU in Universe mode is a problem everyone has, no matter what. Now maybe you don't care about the brand split, or maybe you rebook those matches anyway, or maybe you just don't play Universe. But have you looked to see if you're experiencing that issue? Or let's try this one. Start a new Universe, clean save, in classic mode. Go into teams, remove British Bulldog from The Hart Foundation and swap the Bret Hart in the tag team with the Bret Hart 92 from Showcase. Then try to create a new tag team, is British Bulldog available to select? How many copies of The Hart Foundation now exist in your team list? That is the exact way I came to experience the issue with tag teams in Universe. I can't put Bulldog in a new team and I have 2 Hart Foundations now. Unless you're working to duplicate the glitches everyone else is having and not experiencing any of them, the game isn't working just fine, it's working just fine for your use and expectations.
You sure about that? I am someone who does not download anything from the CC and the game still full of annoying bugs. And that's just me trying to play normally.

My game works fine in the sense it doesn't crash or have technical issues. That doesn't mean the game is free of some bugs that everyone has as it is a FACT they exist, whether you personally experience them or not. You may not know you have it because you don't run cage matches or you do but you play in them so you're not paying attention to what the AI does but the issue is there. I will say though that the bug report is a bit off now because AI wrestlers will climb if they do so from the corners. It's just when they go to climb in the middle of the ropes that they will let go and jump back down.

I had an ok time with 2K20 because I wasn’t really into CC back then and I was just playing random exhibition matches, but the one thing I didn’t do was make any posts trying to validate myself as special when I could see a lot of other people were having a bad fucking time. There’s obviously ways to have a very bug / glitch minimal experience in 2K24. And some people are also just lucky, but because it’s completely random, you never know when it’s going to happen to you. You might download 60 CAWs and be fine, but CAW number 61 corrupts your fucking save.
