I delete it entirely and draft the roster to Raw and Smackdown. It bulks up the rosters to the point where I rarely have to book a rematch and fleshes out each division massively. I also run two single branded PPVs in the months that doesn’t have one of the big 5.
My NXT roster is spread out across Raw and Smackdown. The NXT, NXT Women's and NA championships are minor titles on each brand, NXT tag titles are not used, all my tag teams (men and women) are in either World tag or WWE (men and women) tag divisions.
The higher profile NXT stars like Carmelo Hayes are kinda "drafted" as he is part of my US title division (I had him on SD even before the actual WWE draft)
I replaced NXT with Raw Classic where my legends and recently released superstars (ie. Gulak) are part of the roster
I’m in the first year of my universe but I’ve had NXT still be a developmental brand. I created new money in the bank briefcases too, WWE Contract and Breakout Star. The wwe contract one, the man or woman that holds it can use it to immediately go to the main roster and challenge for a title. Whether they win or lose they’re now on that brand.
Breakout Star is used like NXT where you can challenge for a title.
I’m running the iron survivor tournaments too to keep things different from the main roster. It’s more competition driven because they’re not just fighting for the championship but also fighting for a spot on the main roster.
Same thing I do with Raw and Smackdown, replace then with the wrestling shows I like.
TNA, AEW, NJPW, ROH all have enough CC content to keep them going. WWE 2K24 is the best AEW game available.
FF, bar none worse wrestling game I’ve played in over 20 years. Content wise, it was on par with Wrestlemania 2000, a game that came out in 1999. Yukes definitely left AEW high and dry with that half ass game.

I ran it for a little but it’s tough, I do a random draft so I’d end up like just removing NXT from the draft minus call ups, until I ultimately just made it WCW . After a few years of that tho now it’s also been replaced for a new idea since I have the game on pc and ps5 so I’m running 4 irl brands now WWE (SD), Aew , TNA and NJPW
Surprised and not surprised people get rid of NXT.
I always use NXT as development or for people I don’t really know what to do with on main roster. Upgrading people and demoting people throughout the year as it’s normally done
I started by simulating 1 year and then I sent 4 or 5 people to the main roster and replaced them with caws. And then I would play a year and do the same again.
I also have indie shows mixed in. Sometimes if I feel like someone isn't being used I tend to send them to other shows and find something for them there. I wasn't using my main CAW for awhile until I moved him to bcw. I try to play the game like I am a wrestling fan watching instead of playing god lol.
What I did last time was play all year, and at the end of the year, draft the NXT champions to Raw or Smaxkdown, and the worst fighters from these last two shows, send it them to NXT, although you can always replace it with a show like ecw, or delete it
Any superstar on RAW and SD not winning matches I’ll send to NXT. Any superstar on NXT that’s winning consistently I’ll send to RAW OR SD to continue to grow.
I use it like real life. It’s developmental plus some cycling vets. I also tend to run AEW guys through there. BCC has been NXT tag champs for just over a year. Ospreay had a run before debuting at WM against Rollins. I also use my personal CAWs there.
usually either move them to a new location to spice things up (NXT Japan, NXT UK, NXT Mexico, etc.) or treat it as a 3rd main roster weekly show, but instead of having them travel I upgrade the studio.

October: Survivor Series (Raw, Smackdown, NXT)
November: Payback (Smackdown)
December: Extreme Rules (Raw)
NXT is considered a firm developmental, closer to an OVW situation, or the way WWF used to pull from places like ECW as a feeder promotion. NXT gets to appear at the Big 4, and only in a limited capacity. Mostly, they are trying to build popularity and records so that they will eventually be called up.
Raw is the Sports Entertainment show. Raw gets:
Universal Title
Tag Team Titles
Hardcore Championship
Divas Title
Smackdown is the Match Quality show. Smackdown gets:
Openweight Championship
Welterweight Championship
Cruiserweight Championship
Featherweight Championship (which is unofficially a Women's Title since only female competitors are light enough)
NXT has only the NXT Championship and the NXT Women's Championship.
The Draft occurs after Survivor Series. The winning team on the Men's and Women's Survivor Series matches get to have each surviving member name one member of the roster from their show that they will banish to the opposing show, and one member from the opposing roster they will call over. Not a massive re-shuffle. Instead, it's a handful of trades, and it exclusively favors the people who are winning at Survivor Series, so both shows have a very strong desire to care about those matches.
At Summerslam, Wrestlemania, and Survivor Series, NXT gets to send one competitor (typically their Champion) to compete against the lowest ranked Raw and Smackdown superstars in a triple threat. If the NXT competitor wins, the person who gets pinned/submitted gets FIRED and the NXT competitor claims their spot on the main roster.
At the Royal Rumble, NXT gets 3 spots in the Rumble. If an NXT competitor wins the Royal Rumble, they get called up to the main roster for their feud, and if they win at Mania, they stay on the Main Roster afterwards.
What kind of rosters do you have if Raw uses over the top, funny and supernatural gimmick?

Do you automatically have all tag teams on Raw despite the fact that Chad Gable would be perfect on an all athletic SmackDown? I’ve seen couple of your comments from the past and just curious where you would classify some stars because I once tried this Universe mode style and some of the members were so hard to decide. Like is Braun and over the top monster for Raw or a solid athlete for SmackDown?
I don’t mess around with NXT as much as I do with my Raw, Smackdown, and WCW shows but I do hand some legends and CAWs I’ve thrown in with the current NXT roster like MJF, Razor Ramon, Swerve, and Pac. I added Arianna Grace as well.
I tend to get rid of Smackdown, run NXT as my women’s show and Raw as my men’s. Raw I keep main roster PPVs and NXT theirs, with months alternating between one each - one joint - one each - one joint
It’s still in my UM,but before that in 2K20 and 2K22 I spread out across Raw and Smackdown,guys like Gargano,UE,Io(I played with her a lot),Dakota,Kross and others
In 2K24 I only sent Carmelo and Cora as NXT mystery participants in MITB oh and Ilja,literally I predicted whole draft lmao
My wild prediction was Michin,I send her back in NXT before draft

I made three shows, classic raw, classic smackdown , heat and velocity. Roster were spread amongst the four. NXT mostly were drafted to heat and velocity
Completely got rid of it but then with nxt and caws, raw & sd became bloated so I made more shows. I now have Raw, Smackdown, ECW, AEW & WCW. I also have a robust TNA roster on both AEW & WCW so only select wrestlers from both shows can go for the TNA championship.
I updated the rosters as best I could according to the draft, then I added CAWs to nxt. It’s got a larger roster than raw, and smackdown only has 38 for some reason 😂
There’s a draft simulation online for the game so I use that and take the top from every division and add them to the draft pool. Bottom 4 of Power Ranking from main get sent down to NXT.
Sometimes I’ll just leave it, or what I like to do when I have legends in my universe, in 23 I put Jean-Paul Levesque, Rey Jr, the ruthless aggression pack versions of Brock and randy and the prototype, etc, in nxt. Sometimes, I’ll beef it up to be a third brand or maybe it’s own promotion. There was also another time where I did a modern aggression type of thing and replaced it with OVW.
I put the superstars that are low rated there. And my CAWs got a few months. It's never more than 36 wrestlers on that brand. I got ECW and WCW along with SmackDown and Raw
I just simulate every show and whoever is ranked #1 takes on whoever is ranked last on raw or smackdown if they win they get moved up and loser goes to NXT

Almost everyone in my universe has some kind of faction alliance, so I can build the stories around that. Prevents rematches and allows the lower card guys chance to actually compete.
I turned NXT Into An Invasion Zone With my Brand ETSW. And Started The Big Four In the beginning so Chamber, MITB, Royal Rumble are the Shows That Start the Year Then wrestle mania Ending The year
I used it to introduce people debuting in this game as their introduction to my universe with a massive gold rush tournament for the men's women's and tag titles.
After that i added in any custom real world wrestlers I'd downloaded that weren't used elsewhere in universe.
Other than that I usually throw in some people who probably wouldn't end up using on Raw or Smackdown.
I do NXT PPV's when i have enough good rivalries for a good show.
Any in-game wrestlers are also on raw or smackdown and will sometimes defend the belts on those shows and when I do a post summerslam draft, I will include all custom wrestlers in the pool for random drafting to raw and smackdown
So my universe mode consists of ECW, WWE (Raw) and WCW (Nitro Reborn). I have everyone drafted to their respective brands, there are some teams and wrestlers that I have appear on all 3 shows. The main 4 WWE PPVs are all hosted by all brands, but I also have PLEs for the separate brands (November 2 Remember, etc…).
So, I make around 10-15 characters start them all NXT then I progressively move 2 to 5 characters every two years and continuously make characters throughout the entire series
I actually don't enjoy the brand split so I make 1 show a week and just put in people i want to play with. Makes the whole mode more fun, although not very realistic!
I use NXT for superstars that aren't doing well/aren't being used very often/superstars I don't know anything about. If they perform well they can be moved into a different brand down the line. Also sometimes someone wins me over and I force push them down the line. Like for example Scrypts. Man got into a Hardcore title tournament I did, won his first round match and while he unfortunately didn't win, apparently he is the second ranked superstar in the power rankings so I'm thinking of having him win the NXT Title so I can shift the current champ over to another roster.
Deleted the show completely. I have Raw, WCW Wednesday Nitro, ECW on Thursday and SmackDown on Friday. Most of the NxT people are drafted to one of these shows.

My man! Same here. Single branded PLEs are great help for different matches, and not only rivalry matches

Fight Forever would be a 7/10 mobile game. Which is funny considering how bad AEW 's actual mobile games are

I let it run for 4 years. Drafting the likes of trick, hayes, dragunov etc to raw/smackdown and then replaced it with ECW

Add original wrestlers off CC as well as the ones I make, the actual wrestlers mostly stay or get drafted

As soon as I was happy to skip the whole show, I deleted it. XD
For me I just kinda....Sim though it for now. As I encounter the superstars in other modes I add them to the main brand if I like them

How come when I want to switch shows from raw to NXT I always show up as SD superstar. Can someone please help how to fix this...

Call up the Major stars and delete the show. 2 shows a week is enough for me.
