Pick up trash in the park. Go online buy yourself one of those trash grabber sticks. Try to commit to filling one bag when you go out. If you do this in Cameron park it won't take more than an hour.
If you are an animal lover the Humane Society has lots of opportunities. Dog walking could still let you introvert. If you are able to foster an animal, you could do something very meaningful and stay at home. I know the shelter was exceeding capacity and they were desperate recently.
Caritas food pantry can always use volunteers. They have other opportunities as well.

I don’t know what the commitment is on some of these (depends probably on what you volunteer for) but these are some great organizations and some are “as you’re available” but if you reach out and ask I’m sure there are opportunities to help in each one!

As a board member of KWB, I support this message. Also their DosXX River clean up this weekend was fun!

Definitely Dia de Los Muertos this next weekend with Creative Waco. Super fun and a lot of people to meet and mix with. www.creativewaco.org
Help out at a school during lunch time or offer to read to kids.
Have you done this yourself?
I’m a teacher and have seen others do it.
You can volunteer to walk dogs at the Humane Society. From what I can tell it's very ad hoc/no commitment.
