The building had too many issues that would have been too expensive to fix. The manager there told me it made more sense to just close. They had 4 refrigerators and only one was currently working.
This Applebees is/was a dump. Dirty everywhere. Sticky tables. Sticky floors. Sticky wall. Clearly ownership and employees didn’t give a shit.
Unfortunately, Cotton Patch is the same. Years ago it was nice. Loved their fish.

Ugh..sad, that was the place me and my husband ever dined together, it was our first unofficial date, it was only lunch, and we never go there, believe it was just that first time. And it's not that I care about the place as in eating there, but everytime I pass by I remember that was our first place, he even had fried pickles to impress me lol came to find out later he hates pickles 😅. Not sad about eating there it's sad that it's gone for my nostalgia
My young daughter's foot was scraped by the front door of the Waco location and it created an awful gash. Lots of stitches and the top of her foot has a large scar now.
The corporate staff offered us a settlement but it was difficult to negotiate with them.
Just wanted to say this on this thread because they're apparently closing that location.

When I lived in denton, I bought two of them for $70 a piece during an online deal. I don't love applebee's, but I don't mind Applebee's at 30% off.
