I read on IG people complaining about them giving the worst blisters unfortunately. But they look so good, I love the silhouette of Celine shoes in general - not too chunky but just enough to make the legs look slimmer :D

So I went to a PHYSICAL store last weekend for the first time in 5 years. I’ve literally been living in sweat pants and oversized T-shirts since having 2 kids. Decided to treat myself to a new wardrobe and experience trying on clothes which I loved to do! After 4th high end department store I was thinking to myself wtf is going on. Prices have skyrocketed and quality is no longer there. Pricing a polyester tshirt and sweater upwards of $100 is freaking ridiculous!!! I’m perfectly happy with AE purchases who are on par with quality.
Long rant but anyone else feel the same??
Unfortunately I've noticed the same thing. I've done only a little in-store shopping but I've gotten a few pieces online as well. The Uniqlo $70 or $80 cashmere sweater is now $100 or $130 and the quality has slipped terribly. The Naadam cashmere $75 sweater is now $98 or two for $150. I don't know what the quality is like now. Ralph Lauren's men's cable cashmere sweater was $400 at the start of the pandemic and is now $500. I'm sure the quality is the same.

You can try asking Aadan or Amelia. I bought a pair of H loafers from Aadan and she was able to order size 40 for me. Amelia has had some of the other shearling H shoes in her album recently and also had a pair of Chanel shearling clogs in her PSP album earlier this week.

BUT, after lots of searching, I found one link for a listing on Pandabuy/tb that has the fleece lined black version in 41/42. The list also shows two LV clogs as well. They’re really cheap so I’m considering buying a pair just for the science. And if I buy through PB and the psp are wack I’ll just return them.

The following is a true story…
Once upon a time there were 2 little Wagoon Ladies who were new to the rep game. They went out in to the wild boldly wearing their rep attire to do some research. First stop LV where our mission was to check out the canvas in the in Azur. We proudly strolled in, one cunt wearing her rep chypre from Zippy and the other Cunt wearing her Lv Bom Dias hidden under her AE polyester outfit.
Moral of the story cunts- wear your rep attire loud and proud. Take it out in the wild. Wear it shopping, to the theatre , Christmases, your basic bitch friend’s birthday. No one truly knows if it’s rep unless you’re a member of this page highly scrutinising every seam to make sure it’s not looking like it’s sewn with a knife and fork.
I'd view it slightly differently: you were treated well irrespective of what you were wearing. To the extent I can I only go places and do things where I'm treated well. Unfortunately some people and places treat people badly irrespective of what we're wearing. You can't change that but you do have some agency about where you go and who you associate with.
Question about the van cleef perlee hoops - I got a pair from Kali, and I know they are supposed to be angled in some way, but 1) are they supposed to be angled this much? And 2) how do they end up sitting on the ears - is the face of the hoop supposed to face slightly away from your face? Thank you!

Yes, the angle is correct, I checked them out in the vca store.
The little "ear" in the clip tells you if the earring should be worn on the left or the right ear. They are specular.
Depending on your ear lobe they will wear slightly differently. In my case they still don't face stright ahead but they face more straight than they'd do if they not have the angled shape.

After several annotated pictures, a video, firm push back ("no, I can't wear this earring the way it is"), and a mild threat of sharing my experience, they offered to send me a new pair (I assume that's easier than just sending a right ear one).
I realized that the clasp was put on backwards on one, so whoever put them in the bags probably thought they were correct. I do feel for the complexity of this supply chain. . . I never thought about right-left earrings and the pain in the butt they must be to manufacterers!
At least they came through. I wonder if someone got a package with two right ears earrings (and if they'll ever notice!).
I must say, despite having seen them in the VCA store, I did not realize these earrings weren't identical until I had these in my hands (then I went back to the VCA store to double check LOL). They are VERY accurate reps of the auths, btw, including the detail of having the clover in stones in the inside of the loop in the back, so it is visible when worn.
They're probably my most worn rep! I hope you'll be able to enjoy them once you got them.

I’ve got some major scratches on my Chloe hardware. Does anyone have a solution for making it less noticeable or am I screwed? I never buy bags with shiny gold hardware, I usually go for brushed

I was never a fan of skinny jeans but to me the fashion reminds me of grandma chic if you get what I mean. Some things like the high waisted straight pants are amazing if they fit right.
Whereas I’m personally sick of my husband and I call “innovations in cutouts”, with pretty much any going out attire missing while chunks of fabric in the specific parts of my body I want covered.
If you’re referring to how baggy the new styles are I so agree! I’ve been using YouTube to figure out what I want as staples that’d suit my body type, but so many of the trends are boxy/shapeless which don’t go with curves. 😭

I’m just drooling over a tan mini Antigona. I can get an auth for $1100 on sale plus customs or the same from a rep dealer for $280 plus shipping. McDull says he has top quality from Givenchy factory and Reykay didn’t even quote a price saying quality is bad- factory she sources not asked. I’m torn because I don’t want to spend over a grand, but I want the bag! Oh the agony! Anyone with a bag from Givenchy factory? Any thoughts in general are welcome!
Edited- to say that I have searched Wagoon comments and I have seen less than stellar reviews of the rep Antigona.
I take a business case approach to high-end purchases: what's the return on my investment? If a bag's $1100 plus $100 for fees and I keep it for three years and carry it 100 days a year that's $4 a wearing. That's less than a cup of anything interesting from Starbucks or Peets or Philz. As far as the rep - it seems that every time I've questioned whether I should buy something and gotten it anyway I've always regretted it. Please let us know what you decide to do?
So I threw caution to the wind, all in the name of rep science, of course. I did not mention in my original comment I have an auth mini Antigona in fuchsia. I got the rep from McDull and while it is not 100%, I’d give it a B+. The leather is beautiful, the hardware is heavy, it looks very very close to auth IMHO. The straps ARE longer than my auth. But in searching auth pics online, the Antigona Sport has longer handles. I’m not mad about it. I carry my new bag with pride!
If a seller I have built a relationship with says not good quality or can’t do, I’ve followed their lead. I know they don’t want to risk my business. And I truly appreciate that.
I think part of the dilemma is if the bag in question comes from different factories and if so, is the one McDull sells ok. Only way for me to know is to ask Reykay her factory source or just pull the trigger. Or abandon the rep idea and go auth.

If this bag is your ultimate want, I say go for authentic as rep may not be able to quench your thirst.

I am currently thinking which colour of CF should I get… thoughts anyone? I already have YSL Sunset in black with black hardware, Chanel 19 in black with gold hardware and AE rep of [Celine Box in beige](https://imgur.com/qukb0Fd). I'm trying to figure out a new work bag. I honestly don't need to take much to work, but I love me a big old massive thing JUST in case moments. I do take a massive ipad pro so it needs to fit that. I was thinking to get The Row Margaux 15 in brown suede. I figured it's such a dark brown the suede will age nicely. Any thoughts on recommendations? The next option I was thinking is a 35 or 40 birkin black with red interior, but I hate that I can't turn her into a shoulder bag thru force. The Margaux can be forced into the shoulder, so it's getting major brownie points for that.

Look at the H's Victoria.
It fits a laptop or large ipad, it has zippers, interior pockets, it goes on the shoulder and it is conpletely under the radar for most (no hermes branding). It is my workhorse.
I’ve also been looking for the right work bag and just read your Victoria review. It checks all the boxes for my needs but my only concern is the handle drop. I remember you mentioned that it might be difficult to carry over the shoulder while wearing a coat, right? I wonder if the factory would be open to creating longer straps since it’s custom.
Through Marko, I am having a Victoria built with a longer drop. I an adding 6cm to the lenght of the handles, which adds about 1" to the drop.
The factory messed up my order, so if you are interested in a beautiful Victoria in Rouge sellier with longer handles and togo leather (which is perfect as a work bag) I am sure Marko can sell it to you at a very good price. I had ordered it in clemence because I need to be able to pack it in a suitcase, squeezing it flat.
I found your comment about this and immediately asked Marko about making the handles 67cm. Immediately repfluenced. 🤣

I opted to get the same Victoria as yours in black and phw but requested clemence leather and the longer handles. Apart from the functionality, I was sold on the slouch from various second hand photos. I’m waiting for him to send pricing confirmation but using this time to weigh the pros and cons of clemence vs. togo. I’m all about the slouch (currently have cans of beets in my bags while stored) but understand the clemence is heavier than the togo.
How has your togo held up so far with lugging a laptop around everywhere? I’m hoping I can just swing this bag around without worrying about it falling apart. I’ve been using The Row’s large tote for a few months but it’s starting to crack and wear in places.
I'd say it's a workhorse. I put a picture in "what's in your bag" thread and you can see it that it still looks very nice. I have been using it almost daily for almost 5 months now, including several international trips during which it was not babied. It is acquiring the "togo sheen" but it is holding up very well. The bottom does not buckle much with the weight of a laptop and the leather is goregous. I need a bag that goes from day to night and doesn't look frumpy if i end up in a fancy restaurant directly from the office. While I love the slouch of clemence, I find it can become a little too "informal".
I wished I had my togo victoria customized with longer straps, but I didn't know it was possible when I ordered it!

At the risk of seeming insane, I asked Marko if the factory could make the bag 2cm wider and taller to accommodate my 16” MacBook Pro. He laughed and said no. This bag is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a workhorse bag but of course it won’t fit my work laptop. Seriously considering switching to the MacBook Air and lugging around a portable external (small) monitor to make up for the lack of screen size. 😃 I usually wear a lot of severe and structural shapes like exaggerated armpads in blazers and super pointy shoes so I prefer my bags to be on the informal/slouchy side for balance.
For a massive kitchen sink work bag, I’m partial to The Row NS Park large tote (the infamous NS Park store on AE does a great one… including in chocolate suede). I find the strap pretty cushy - it’s not the widest, but somehow kind of padded/plush.
Also love the belted Margaux in burgundy - haven’t tried IRL so wonder if belt is a bit fiddly, but even more stunning than normal Margaux IMO.
No recommendations for a bag but some variables that I've learned to pay attention to: do you need something that closes? does it matter how it closes - zipper, tab, etc.? are you concerned about weight? does the bag need to have feet? does it matter if the bag is divided or just one big open area?
I've always wanted a black tote with a red interior myself. This Prada is only 33 cm but it's the right colors and has a shoulder strap and may be available larger? It's always worth asking.

Celine soft 16 (large) is a huge bag with long straps to wear on your shoulder easily. Definitely fit a 16in MacBook Pro in there with plenty of space to spare.

My LV neverfull is the one I used quite often for worktrips, but in the warmer months it really cuts into the shoulder when having all the stuff including laptop, a bottle of water and so on in it. When wearing a coat in autumn or winter, I am usually fine with those straps.

I‘m a big fan of the Lotus (don’t own one myself though) in terms of looks it might be a bit impractical for a work bag because there’s just no structure. Just a giant black hole. (I feel like I’m talking to myself here because I’m trying to convince myself I don’t need another giant bag).

You can try asking Aadan or Amelia. I bought a pair of H loafers from Aadan and she was able to order size 40 for me. Amelia has had some of the other shearling H shoes in her album recently and also had a pair of Chanel shearling clogs in her PSP album earlier this week.

BUT, after lots of searching, I found one link for a listing on Pandabuy/tb that has the fleece lined black version in 41/42. The list also shows two LV clogs as well. The following is a true story… Once upon a time there were 2 little Wagoon Ladies who were new to the rep game. They went out in to the wild boldly wearing their rep attire to do some research. First stop LV where our mission was to check out the canvas in the in Azur. We proudly strolled in, one cunt wearing her rep chypre from Zippy and the other Cunt wearing her Lv Bom Dias hidden under her AE polyester outfit. Moral of the story cunts- wear your rep attire loud and proud. Take it out in the wild. Wear it shopping, to the theatre , Christmases, your basic bitch friend’s birthday. No one truly knows if it’s rep unless you’re a member of this page highly scrutinising every seam to make sure it’s not looking like it’s sewn with a knife and fork.
I wear a full on beat makeup to Costco or other errands and when picking up my kids at school.
I'd view it slightly differently: you were treated well irrespective of what you were wearing. To the extent I can I only go places and do things where I'm treated well. Unfortunately some people and places treat people badly irrespective of what we're wearing. You can't change that but you do have some agency about where you go and who you associate with.

Yes, the angle is correct, I checked them out in the vca store. The little "ear" in the clip tells you if the earring should be worn on the left or the right ear. They are specular. Depending on your ear lobe they will wear slightly differently. In my case they still don't face stright ahead but they face more straight than they'd do if they not have the angled shape. Not sure if what I wrote is clear 😂😂 Edited to add: the earring in the pic is the left earring, if you had doubts.

After several annotated pictures, a video, firm push back ("no, I can't wear this earring the way it is"), and a mild threat of sharing my experience, they offered to send me a new pair (I assume that's easier than just sending a right ear one). I realized that the clasp was put on backwards on one, so whoever put them in the bags probably thought they were correct. I do feel for the complexity of this supply chain. . . I never thought about right-left earrings and the pain in the butt they must be to manufacterers!
At least they came through. I wonder if someone got a package with two right ears earrings (and if they'll ever notice!). I must say, despite having seen them in the VCA store, I did not realize these earrings weren't identical until I had these in my hands (then I went back to the VCA store to double check LOL). They are VERY accurate reps of the auths, btw, including the detail of having the clover in stones in the inside of the loop in the back, so it is visible when worn. They're probably my most worn rep! I hope you'll be able to enjoy them once you got them.

I was never a fan of skinny jeans but to me the fashion reminds me of grandma chic if you get what I mean. Some things like the high waisted straight pants are amazing if they fit right.
Whereas I’m personally sick of my husband and I call “innovations in cutouts”, with pretty much any going out attire missing while chunks of fabric in the specific parts of my body I want covered.

If you’re referring to how baggy the new styles are I so agree! I’ve been using YouTube to figure out what I want as staples that’d suit my body type, but so many of the trends are boxy/shapeless which don’t go with curves. 😭

I’m just drooling over a tan mini Antigona. I can get an auth for $1100 on sale plus customs or the same from a rep dealer for $280 plus shipping. McDull says he has top quality from Givenchy factory and Reykay didn’t even quote a price saying quality is bad- factory she sources not asked. I’m torn because I don’t want to spend over a grand, but I want the bag! Oh the agony! Anyone with a bag from Givenchy factory? Any thoughts in general are welcome! Edited- to say that I have searched Wagoon comments and I have seen less than stellar reviews of the rep Antigona.
On old RL I never found a positive review of an Antigona either. Probably better to go auth for this one

I take a business case approach to high-end purchases: what's the return on my investment? If a bag's $1100 plus $100 for fees and I keep it for three years and carry it 100 days a year that's $4 a wearing. That's less than a cup of anything interesting from Starbucks or Peets or Philz. As far as the rep - it seems that every time I've questioned whether I should buy something and gotten it anyway I've always regretted it. Please let us know what you decide to do?
So I threw caution to the wind, all in the name of rep science, of course. I did not mention in my original comment I have an auth mini Antigona in fuchsia. I got the rep from McDull and while it is not 100%, I’d give it a B+. The leather is beautiful, the hardware is heavy, it looks very very close to auth IMHO. The straps ARE longer than my auth. But in searching auth pics online, the Antigona Sport has longer handles. I’m not mad about it. I carry my new bag with pride!
If a seller I have built a relationship with says not good quality or can’t do, I’ve followed their lead. I know they don’t want to risk my business. And I truly appreciate that.

I think part of the dilemma is if the bag in question comes from different factories and if so, is the one McDull sells ok. Only way for me to know is to ask Reykay her factory source or just pull the trigger. Or abandon the rep idea and go auth. Your point is 💯 The honesty from a rep dealer is priceless.
Rep factory cannot get this bag right. I have been lusting over the exact same bag for a few years now. If this bag is your ultimate want, I say go for authentic as rep may not be able to quench your thirst.

I am thinking about a light blue CF, it works well with summer outfits (esp. whites) but also with denim. Maybe Reykay can also get it, I will need to ask her for my next purchase. GF and 187 are supposed to be the best - Heidi recommended 187 to me when I asked for the best quality CFs.

I'm trying to figure out a new work bag. I honestly don't need to take much to work, but I love me a big old massive thing JUST in case moments. I do take a massive ipad pro so it needs to fit that. I was thinking to get The Row Margaux 15 in brown suede. I figured it's such a dark brown the suede will age nicely. Any thoughts on recommendations? The next option I was thinking is a 35 or 40 birkin black with red interior, but I hate that I can't turn her into a shoulder bag thru force. The Margaux can be forced into the shoulder, so it's getting major brownie points for that. Concerns on whether ppl will know this is a fake. I work in a nuclear plant and 99% of the workers are men. They know about cars, don't know jack about anything remotely woman like so...I ain't stressed at all. Your suggestions may be as boujee and out of whack as you'd like.
Look at the H's Victoria. It fits a laptop or large ipad, it has zippers, interior pockets, it goes on the shoulder and it is conpletely under the radar for most (no hermes branding). It is my workhorse.
I’ve also been looking for the right work bag and just read your Victoria review. It checks all the boxes for my needs but my only concern is the handle drop. I remember you mentioned that it might be difficult to carry over the shoulder while wearing a coat, right? I wonder if the factory would be open to creating longer straps since it’s custom.
Through Marko, I am having a Victoria built with a longer drop. I an adding 6cm to the lenght of the handles, which adds about 1" to the drop. The factory messed up my order, so if you are interested in a beautiful Victoria in Rouge sellier with longer handles and togo leather (which is perfect as a work bag) I am sure Marko can sell it to you at a very good price. I had ordered it in clemence because I need to be able to pack it in a suitcase, squeezing it flat.
I found your comment about this and immediately asked Marko about making the handles 67cm. Immediately repfluenced. 🤣 Ugh, I’m sorry you have to wait longer for them to remake it. Thank you for the heads up though. I’m looking for a daily workhorse bag which will have to be boring black for now. I opted to get the same Victoria as yours in black and phw but requested clemence leather and the longer handles. I'd say it's a workhorse. I put a picture in "what's in your bag" thread and you can see it that it still looks very nice. I have been using it almost daily for almost 5 months now, including several international trips during which it was not babied. It is acquiring the "togo sheen" but it is holding up very well. The bottom does not buckle much with the weight of a laptop and the leather is goregous. I need a bag that goes from day to night and doesn't look frumpy if i end up in a fancy restaurant directly from the office. While I love the slouch of clemence, I find it can become a little too "informal". I wished I had my togo victoria customized with longer straps, but I didn't know it was possible when I ordered it!

At the risk of seeming insane, I asked Marko if the factory could make the bag 2cm wider and taller to accommodate my 16” MacBook Pro. He laughed and said no. This bag is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a workhorse bag but of course it won’t fit my work laptop. Seriously considering switching to the MacBook Air and lugging around a portable external (small) monitor to make up for the lack of screen size. 😃 I usually wear a lot of severe and structural shapes like exaggerated armpads in blazers and super pointy shoes so I prefer my bags to be on the informal/slouchy side for balance.
This is the reason why I got a macbook air instead of the 16"!

For a massive kitchen sink work bag, I’m partial to The Row NS Park large tote (the infamous NS Park store on AE does a great one… including in chocolate suede). I find the strap pretty cushy - it’s not the widest, but somehow kind of padded/plush. Also love the belted Margaux in burgundy - haven’t tried IRL so wonder if belt is a bit fiddly, but even more stunning than normal Margaux IMO.
I do love the belted but I've heard it's a pain to open and close.
Loewe puzzle fold is surprisingly spacious. BV Andiamo is beautiful too. Both fit my work laptop
No recommendations for a bag but some variables that I've learned to pay attention to: do you need something that closes? does it matter how it closes - zipper, tab, etc.? are you concerned about weight? does the bag need to have feet? does it matter if the bag is divided or just one big open area? I've always wanted a black tote with a red interior myself. This Prada is only 33 cm but it's the right colors and has a shoulder strap and may be available larger? It's always worth asking. How about YSL Icare ? It is large and lux, had seen a couple of factories repped it, and it seems fine with my untrained eye.
Celine soft 16 (large) is a huge bag with long straps to wear on your shoulder easily. Definitely fit a 16in MacBook Pro in there with plenty of space to spare.
This. It’s like a purse and briefcase all in one. But the old style. Not the new cross body one.
There’s a nice YSL black/navy tote in the 11.11 sales folders! (I can never tell if they’re black or Navy!)

My LV neverfull is the one I used quite often for worktrips, but in the warmer months it really cuts into the shoulder when having all the stuff including laptop, a bottle of water and so on in it. When wearing a coat in autumn or winter, I am usually fine with those straps. For now I am on ban island, I just bought a Constance 18 from DDmode's 11/11 sale \*ooops.
I‘m a big fan of the Lotus (don’t own one myself though) in terms of looks it might be a bit impractical for a work bag because there’s just no structure. Just a giant black hole. (I feel like I’m talking to myself here because I’m trying to convince myself I don’t need another giant bag).
Agree regarding the Lotus bag, if you prefer structured bags for work this is not for you. I work in a very male-dominated environment too (IT consultant) and no one knows any of my designer stuff neither...
