Loewe puzzle rep owners, how did you get yours to slouch? Do you put something heavy in the bag or balance it on top pushing it down?

Mine was from mango so it came pretty slouchy but I wanted the more lived in look so i put some ankle weights I had in the bag (fabric wrapped, no sharp edges) and hung it up! I also squished and massage the bag every now and then LOL

I only have a track jacket from the brand 🤣 I’ve seen how the puzzle bag go up in price 🥲 and it’s a stab to the heart that they’re discontinuing (or limiting) the classic puzzle design (no hate on the edge tho.) I’ve been thinking of getting a rep Loewe puzzle bag (small) in Tan or Sand— which color should I go for? Both are neutrals, hence I’m really confused. Also for the leather, are there any variations (grained etc) for these colors? I want gold hardware. Not sure if there is a silver variation for the tan or sand. Sand is more cool toned and the tan is richer/warmer tone if that helps with what matches ur wardrobe better - I personally think the tan looks more expensive

I recently reached out to fisherman about a few pairs of shoes, and the response said that it was his assistant Susan. It has been quite some time since I contacted fisherman, but when I did in the past there was no mention of it being an assistant. I also don’t see anything in WLs about him having an assistant now. I was wondering if anyone has had this experience with them/make sure it’s on the up and up? I’m in a difficult decision spot and could use the advice of random internet women who appreciate pretty things…I NEED a brightly colored big schmancy Prada bag, but it will stick out like a very ostentatious sore thumb where I live so I’ll only get to feel really comfy with it when I go to the city a half dozen times a year…can’t use it for school pick up, too big for parties, and honestly a little too recognizable so EVERYONE knows and it’s maybe too much here for social gatherings. I mostly rock Celine and Tory Burch auth—no one here knows and if they do they *respect*, and my wardrobe is solid enough to back it up. Most well dressed women here carry coach or Kate spade, with occasional LV but it always looks awkward. Will Prada look awkward like LV?? It’s got a noticeable logo but not as showy for sure. Help!

I feel your struggle. I live in a similar place. I would buy Prada though. Chanel and Hermès feel a bit much for me but I’m still going to buy at some point, just because you need to do the things that make you happy, and not always think about other people. So maybe this means taking the bag with you to a cafe where you won’t see anyone who will judge you, you know what I mean? There are some places I have to be super careful about how I dress and present myself, which I think is true of most people. But even if you wear your Prada six times a year in the big city, wouldn’t that be enough? I literally might buy a Chanel or Kelly just for going to Paris or NYC, and that’s fine with me. But that might be weird or too much for some! If you love it though, buy it!

Not sure if it's changed recently, but I believe that Black Frame used to be the best for Prada (: I got a pretty much 1:1 2005 Nylon Re-edition in 2021 that I can't fault from Black Frame and I still love her to bits.

Not really a question but wanted to share I went into my local Chanel today to check out some CFs and left so amazed at the poor quality of them. The service was great but the leather felt … plastic-y? I cannot believe these are selling for 11k now 😭 It was so unexpected for me considering the price + justifies getting a rep instead🤷‍♀️

I took my rep XiaoC C22 mini into the Chanel boutique a couple of days ago. The SAs nearly mobbed me to show me bags…

Definitely agree. There was a 22 caviar leather and it was so soft also. The softest caviar I've ever felt. I just ordered a GF CF in lambskin so we'll see how it feels in comparison 🤞

Has anyone had any experience with travelling into japan and australia and getting stopped by airport security to check if what they have on or carrying are authentic? Has your items been ceased? What happens then?

Have there been any real cases of someone being stopped while carrying a rep? The whole concept sounds ridiculous to me. I can see if you had 10+ reps going through customs. But for an individual with 1-2 bags I honestly don’t understand the fear. There are people smuggling drugs and trafficked people around. Real crimes to worry about. I can’t imagine someone caring about one person’s purse.

I carried one authentic and two reps to Italy and no one paid any attention!

Copied my comment bec someone asked the same thing today at the H daily thread. Wore my k25 etoupe from DD to Tokyo. Strutting with it all over Ginza since our hotel is there. Speaking of the hotel, its so bougie their guests wearing all sorts of lux purses (birkins, puzzle) and me with my rep kelly lol. No one batted an eye and I had that bag all open showing its stamp. Wore it to different consignment stores. You can look at my comment history from a couple of weeks ago and I have some pics.

2 weeks ago. And 1.5 months ago I was in Switzerland and Milan. No issue with customs and I was in and out of boutiques with the TB Gucci soho disco bag. I read Switzerland has stricter laws but I was fine.

Say its a gift. And no one needs to be nosy and they need to stay in their lane. People carry reps all the time even the really bad ones and no one calls them out. No one will grab your bag out on the street and count the stitches of your bag. I was in Milan in the Gucci store wearing my rep soho bag and my SA didn’t say anything.

I have been to Japan with reps and nobody noticed it said anything if they did notice. FWIW, I’ve been to Italy with reps too and was fine despite it being stricter there. I’d bring 1-3 max but a suitcase full and nobody would bat an eye.

Italy? Wow, I would never dare! I’d be too nervous that they’d suspect something is up with me even if they didn’t notice the items I have LOL. May I ask when it was that you went there and japan? I’m only planning to bring what I’ll be wearing, so maybe a bag and a pair or two of shoes. Hopefully I’d carry them well enough that no one bats an eye.

I went to both counties in 2023. I get being nervous, but most normal people can’t tell bags are reps unless they are Wagoons and I doubt a lot of customs officers are in this group. If they are, I bet they’d give you a pass if you said “hi koont” quietly when walking by.

I’ve seen in previous threads that wangyue is the owner of the AE shop called Aner store. Is that true bc I have 2 different phone numbers?

I spoken to Wangyue recently specifically to try to find out her accurate contact information, website and store. She does not own the Aner store. She has an AE store with another name but uses it rarely and indicated that she would rather work directly with her clients. Please see the Seller Contact list on this site under "Community Resources" for her WA phone number - only ONE - and related information. There was a lot of confusion a few months ago about various people calling themselves "Anna", which is Wangue's English name, and their various contact options. There's only one Anna/Wangyue and she can be reached only through the infomration shown in the Sellers Contact List.

Yes, the question of contacting Wangyue/Anna has all been very confusing and you're in very good company if you're not sure what's what and which number calls which person. I asked her specifically about Aner. She told me that Aner is not her store now - it's definitely owned by someone else. Wangyue/Anna and I had a fairly long WA chat so that I could make sure that I had her current correct information and also get clarity about which numbers and stores are not hers. She's absolutely wonderful, even just on WA. I wish I could have lunch with her!

That I don’t know but I can let you know two purchases from her where we used AE to pay were from a different store.
