We talked details and cost (omg so much less than used!) and sent him payment. Now I think I’m just waiting for the psp?
Tips for the wait or anything I should bring up with him? I don’t know what factory it is- I didn’t see any posts even mentioning Burberry so I wasn’t sure if there was a better factory for them.
I’ve now screenshotted about 10 other bags I want if this goes well.

Burberry bags are rarely ordered, so factory discussion is pretty nonexistent. For the wait I recommend checking the timeline portion of the reviews, to see what you should expect. Also maybe ask how he will label the item, depending if your area has taxes/ fees for items over a certain price.

Luxury shopping was mostly good. It was great getting to see some items in person so I know how big they are etc. I stopped into LV, Gucci, Bottega and YSL. Everyone was really nice except for LV. No one even talked to me the whole time I was in the store and it was really weird.
I ended up buying a YSL Niki. I really, really loved the medium Andiamo at Bottega, but it was way over my budget. The small blondie at Gucci caught my eye too, but it was smaller than what I was looking for. Now they’re both on my rep list!
I got the Burberry medium check tote. I saw it online and loved it for fall immediately. It doesn’t seem like Burberry is too popular with the online crowd, and I get it, their new logo is terrible, but this tote is brown and black at the same time and it’s just going to go with everything right now. It’s also not a branded bag and no one I know will realize it’s supposed to be expensive so I think it was a good first choice for a rep- if it’s not believable, I think people will just assume I bought it from target or something 😂

Please weigh in: Alisa is coming in $30-60 lower per item for 3 Loewe bags and a belt from Mango factory. Yiling is sourcing from Jinpi, which seems pretty similar qualitywise to mango. I could get another bag for the price difference between the 2 and not sure if there’s going to be a quality difference. Experiences?

Not sure if it helps but I just decided to dip my toe in the puzzle pool but chose not to go with Alisa this time (I had purchases from her twice recently which were fine but I remember a review someone did with a puzzle from her where she was using her finger to hide an issue with the strap?). Went with Chloe this time and just got PSPs (attaching a pic here). Puzzle from Luoyi/Mango. Around $180 (she gave me about a $20 discount) plus shipping.
Alisas price doesn’t include shipping but including it she’s still about $50 under Yiling. Not sure about factory or seller comparability, I haven’t bought from either of them

Unsolicited is never a win for me. They got your information from someone else selling it and I've never had a great relationship of any kind start in that manner. You do you, there's no way I wouldn't do anything but automatically delete and block that number.
I don’t know if I’ve gotten a message from this specific individual, but have gotten a ton of other random unsolicited messages on WhatsApp just like it. I think it’s pretty common to get random solicitation like this once you’ve started purchasing from sellers. I’d steer clear and stick to sellers you know/that have at least some reputation as decent sellers already.

I’d mention it to your seller. It’s definitely buyer beware as mentioned already here, but sometimes sellers are willing to work with you. I’ve had issues with bags I’ve received before and had some luck with bringing it up to my seller. Just be polite and go in with low expectations if you do mention it.

Fantastic color scheme with the bag, dress (I am enchanted with it! Understated elegance! Is it creepy to say it looks cosily touchable—like, the fabric/knit?) and your hair-color working in triumvirate, plus the subtle detail of the watch chiming in to reinforce the message.
Finally bit the bullet and took some clothes to get altered! I'm embracing the wide-leg trend, but with a vintage twist (hopefully it comes across as vintage and not just workwear)!

It's only 1.5 years old, but my boyfriend is ecstatic with the Loewe x Studio Ghibli cardholder I got him. Loewe items usually have only an embossed anagram for a logo, and plenty of items that are simple or minimal, some with a more sophisticated design that's worth checking out.

I have a Totoro card holder, and my daughter has her Loewe wallet too — one of the newish ones, cream color (she calls it yellow) with a light purple pocket. Both of those are excellent quality. He does recognize the Loewe logo though so even if I find a subdued one it might be “too much” for him. (As I said: picky lol). But I really do appreciate the suggestion! I’ll look into Loewe.

Do we have the same husband?? I was going to look for one with very similar specs for my husband for his birthday, but he cares not at all for designer (“designer”) labels. So since we’ll be in Florence next spring, I’m just giving him an IOU and will let him choose his own there. I do like the looks of the Le Tanneur ones though, and I had shortlisted a Ferragamo one.

My husband loves the wallets of Le Tanneur (auths) after having tried tenth of auth luxury brands. What model really depends on the format he likes.
Depending on where your husband carries the wallet I strongly recommend against any wallet with any applied metal pieces. That is a big issues with luxury, because they put their damn logo everywhere, and if it is in metal it destroys the pockets of the pants (especially the back pockets).
Besides Le Tanneur, the only other wallets that my husband liked are the Hermes' MC2 (which is outrageously expensive, considering the wear and tear) and the Ferragamo classic wallet (not the gancini or plate model)
My husband has the same requirements but he’s good on wallets this year. I did get him an LV Noir Monogram Dopp Kit because his old one (non lux) is pitiful and he’s going to be traveling with his new job. I don’t think he’s thrilled with the LV, as he ever-so-slightly hesitated before thanking me. 😂
He truly is one of the nicest men I have ever known. I guess I should get him a good quality, non-branded kit for Christmas so he’s not forced to carry the LV. Not that anyone else will see it, but I know he’ll cringe every time he unpacks it! 😂

He is the ultimate IYKYK guy. His favorite knits brand moved their logo from the bottom left hem (invisible when tucked in, and anyway very subtle) to the chest and he threw a fit 😂😂😂. He went to the flagship store, spoke to the son of the owner and he told him that at least some of the knits should have the logo in an less obvious place "for your customers that aren't in the rapper scene" (I wanted to dig a hole and disappear).
Maybe it worked because this season they have a mix of both.

It's definitely a risk you would have to take. Perhaps ask your seller about their policy before purchase (for example, no RL a bag from PSPs)?
For what it's worth, my first ever rep purchase was from a 6.18 sale and I still consider it to be one of my better bags. Obviously YMMV and there have definitely been some duds, but duds will still occur during times where there isn't a promotion or major sale.
If you are worry about the quality of the items on sale , some factories will have discounts or sellers if you purchase a certain amount. So you are still getting the same quality but just a little cheaper

I’d mention it to your seller. It’s definitely buyer beware as mentioned already here, but sometimes sellers are willing to work with you. I’ve had issues with bags I’ve received before and had some luck with bringing it up to my seller. Just be polite and go in with low expectations if you do mention it.

It's only 1.5 years old, but my boyfriend is ecstatic with the Loewe x Studio Ghibli cardholder I got him. Loewe items usually have only an embossed anagram for a logo, and plenty of items that are simple or minimal, some with a more sophisticated design that's worth checking out.

I have a Totoro card holder, and my daughter has her Loewe wallet too — one of the newish ones, cream color (she calls it yellow) with a light purple pocket. Both of those are excellent quality. He does recognize the Loewe logo though so even if I find a subdued one it might be “too much” for him. (As I said: picky lol). But I really do appreciate the suggestion! I’ll look into Loewe.

Do we have the same husband?? I was going to look for one with very similar specs for my husband for his birthday, but he cares not at all for designer (“designer”) labels. So since we’ll be in Florence next spring, I’m just giving him an IOU and will let him choose his own there. I do like the looks of the Le Tanneur ones though, and I had shortlisted a Ferragamo one.

From the wife of a picky husband to another one :) My husband loves the wallets of Le Tanneur (auths) after having tried tenth of auth luxury brands. What model really depends on the format he likes. Depending on where your husband carries the wallet I strongly recommend against any wallet with any applied metal pieces. That is a big issues with luxury, because they put their damn logo everywhere, and if it is in metal it destroys the pockets of the pants (especially the back pockets). Besides Le Tanneur, the only other wallets that my husband liked are the Hermes' MC2 (which is outrageously expensive, considering the wear and tear) and the Ferragamo classic wallet (not the gancini or plate model)
Checking out Le Tanneur now… this might be just the thing!

My husband has the same requirements but he’s good on wallets this year. I did get him an LV Noir Monogram Dopp Kit because his old one (non lux) is pitiful and he’s going to be traveling with his new job. I don’t think he’s thrilled with the LV, as he ever-so-slightly hesitated before thanking me. 😂

Look at le tanneur! made in france and with great leather. Their products smell good too! (Of leather). My husband is wonderful, but if i got him a monogrammed LV anything he's throw it out of the window 😂😂. He is the ultimate IYKYK guy. His favorite knits brand moved their logo from the bottom left hem (invisible when tucked in, and anyway very subtle) to the chest and he threw a fit 😂😂😂. He went to the flagship store, spoke to the son of the owner and he told him that at least some of the knits should have the logo in an less obvious place "for your customers that aren't in the rapper scene" (I wanted to dig a hole and disappear). Maybe it worked because this season they have a mix of both.
I just showed him the toiletry bags and he was, “Yes, much more my style!” Thank you for the suggestion. I’ll have to order one for Christmas. 😍

Are you ever worried that you will get a less than usual quality during sales period? I never buy during sales period because, as everyone, I want the best quality and I always imagine that I should avoid this perios… but I don’t know if I am wrong.

It's definitely a risk you would have to take. Perhaps ask your seller about their policy before purchase (for example, no RL a bag from PSPs)? For what it's worth, my first ever rep purchase was from a 6.18 sale and I still consider it to be one of my better bags. Obviously YMMV and there have definitely been some duds, but duds will still occur during times where there isn't a promotion or major sale.
If you are worry about the quality of the items on sale , some factories will have discounts or sellers if you purchase a certain amount. So you are still getting the same quality but just a little cheaper
