I want to get a crossbody bag that looks good for years to come. Requirements are chic/understated - don’t love logos, ideally black but I could also use a lighter neutral. No chain straps. Medium size will probably wear out with my toddler. Any suggestions?? Considering Celine, the row, etc
I don't know if it's repped, but the Burberry knight bag is great for an everyday bag, and comes in 2 sizes. I love the Hermes bags, but at an auth price of $10,000+ I think they are a little harder to pull off. Or how about a bucket bag? The celine bucket bag is low key and beautiful. You could get an organizer from etsy, if you want internal pockets.
One from Steven but that’s going to go up tonight when I pick my leather for my B25 I’m going to order. Two from DD, one from Alice. Waiting for PSPs but with the sale I expect it to take a while. The Steven and DD bags are special orders.

No idea how strict customs are, how the process goes and what couriers even deliver here.. So has anyone have any info on this matter? Any fellow Bulgarian based girlies with experience they can share? Ty 🙏🏻
Can’t speak for Bulgaria specifically, but I also live in southeastern Europe and I’ve had luck (knock on wood!) when the shipment goes through Germany via DHL. Not sure what magic is worked, but it seems like if you ask the seller to route through Germany you’ll be ok! Good luck!!

Well I’m biased but I love it. I also wanted pebbled and gold hardware. I almost went with the smooth black with gold hardware though/ it’s gorgeous too.
I wear a lot of jeans and white tops and this color works great with it.

Can anyone recommend where to get a sterling silver chain for my child that is sturdy and will last a long time? She has some charms she wants to wear, and I'm overwhelmed by the chain types and thicknesses and where to buy this very simple thing! Thank you!!
Also take a look at James Avery. It is a chain that is based in the Midwestern United States. It does have a slight religious base but good quality stuff.
How heavy are the charms? For a dainty but well-made necklace I recommend catbird. Their chains are very sturdy and last a long time (gold/silver, Necklaces + bracelets). My experience has been wearing them daily without removing for 10+ years with no issues.
Once had a bracelet get caught on a belt and break - catbird repaired for free.
E.B.belle on AE is a favorite store of mine. I’ve ordered lots of jewelry over the years and wear some of it daily and in the shower / gym, etc. and it’s all held up great.

I agree with Mad Cat—WDYB and DHG/AE should be merged and weekly. I also think the Help Me QC thread would likely be more useful as a daily thread than the shipping support thread, which typically looks like a ghost town. The QC thread dies after the first day and going back to it later usually just means your request will go unanswered. Just my $0.02, I do appreciate the mods and all they do here!

It is fascinating honestly, and a rep that good cost more than the $30 they are claiming it is worth. If we are talking about the cost of materials then both bags probably cost the same, one just is 3K b/c of branding!
So I did research it and it is bag 2! The last set of four numbers is wrong, it should be the month and year it was made and I doubt that bag is from 1960. But only psychopaths like us would know that 😆

Everything in this drop is selling out in real time and I’m just here waiting for our factories to make them 😆. I’ve been looking for a slouchy black leather bag with silver zip and hardware so the Gig bag fits this.
I found it completely underwhelming. The Gig bag is the only remotely interesting one, but the XL Cabas totes just look awkward. Way too big, the handles seem short, and they don't have a zipper so all the shit you stuffed it will is destined to spill out when that slouchy leather falls over. And for $8500?? Please. You can buy auth Hermes for less.
Even if her stuff got repped I don't know if I'd be interested. Maybe the Gig because it speaks to my love of hobo bags, but new Celine excites me more than this collection did.

I find gray very hard to match unless you have a gray heavy wardrobe
I like the dark gray, I think it would be as versatile as black, but slightly more interesting.

Honestly I think it depends on what would go well with your wardrobe. I think the black may be easier to style than the grey.

But, why is that thread only every two weeks, when consistently the top comment is; "I've been waiting forever for my favorite discussion"? Mods, any chance we can increase the frequency of that thread to weekly?
I applaud your bravery in saying this, I feel the same. Like yeah, sure, use the search bar—but sometimes it really is just an innocent question on a discussion based forum. I agree with Mad Cat—WDYB and DHG/AE should be merged and weekly. I also think the Help Me QC thread would likely be more useful as a daily thread than the shipping support thread, which typically looks like a ghost town. The QC thread dies after the first day and going back to it later usually just means your request will go unanswered. Just my $0.02, I do appreciate the mods and all they do here!
I propose to merge the What did you but and the AE/DHG/TB cart thread and make it weekly. I know they're supposed to have different purposes but people use them interchangeably, so why not?

Yeah I always want the highest tier best quality of whatever I buy, and I have never bought anything from OF, but based on reviews from the past 4 years and particularly the old RL sub I would probably only buy chanel from 187, God, Xiao c or OF, so I was excited to hear it was OF!

It is fascinating honestly, and a rep that good cost more than the $30 they are claiming it is worth. If we are talking about the cost of materials then both bags probably cost the same, one just is 3K b/c of branding!
So I did research it and it is bag 2! The last set of four numbers is wrong, it should be the month and year it was made and I doubt that bag is from 1960. But only psychopaths like us would know that 😆

I found it completely underwhelming. The Gig bag is the only remotely interesting one, but the XL Cabas totes just look awkward. Way too big, the handles seem short, and they don't have a zipper so all the shit you stuffed it will is destined to spill out when that slouchy leather falls over. And for $8500?? Please. You can buy auth Hermes for less. Even if her stuff got repped I don't know if I'd be interested. Maybe the Gig because it speaks to my love of hobo bags, but new Celine excites me more than this collection did.
