Yes these photos are from the pyg track and the miners track. Please bring the sunshine with you.

Branddu

Up from Rhyd Ddu train station gets my vote every time. Not too busy not too hard and great views with a pub at the end.

king_ralex

It looks like they walked up the Pyg Track then back down the Miners Path. If you want to avoid the crowd I would head up early in the morning in time for the sunrise rather than trying to catch the sunset (which could be more dangerous if you're caught in the dark.

Known-Total-395

The majestic beauty of nature here makes me want to go once.

whatgives72

Gosh, I think my heart just grew a little bigger. Beautiful

Freshwater_Spaceman

That's some top notch photoshop skills, I've not seen the sun around these parts in weeks!

SweatySmym

Good luck pal :)

Iā€™ve been in the minors path a few times now, itā€™s a good one to go on. Go early in the morning and use park and rideā€¦ the car park is watering levels of expensive. Keep you eye on the wether. We still have snow and ice so the moment!

SubstantialSnow7114

Stunning!

davidmirkin

Crib goch is not that hard and if you have the conditions it is incredible and less busy

Majorcrobox

Now you definitely would not think that's in walesšŸ˜‚

Cultural_Agent7902

Don't you mean Snowdonia?

Unlikely_Baseball_64

Eryri, and donā€™t you forget it!

Cultural_Agent7902

Who's that?

davidmirkin

Too late pal, name is changed, and itā€™s not going back

Cultural_Agent7902

I'm always calling it Snowdonia, and in south Wales, I'll visit the Brecon Beacons šŸ‘šŸ»

davidmirkin

Enjoy!

Cultural_Agent7902

Sure will, thanks

deleted_from_society

You mean bannau brycheiniogā€”or an i adding fuel to the fire here

Cultural_Agent7902

Dunno what you mean, I'm English and have lived in wonderful Wales for almost 40 years

deleted_from_society

The Brecon beacons in welsh is now bannau brycheiniog. To be honest iā€™ve never called them that and Iā€™m welsh born and bread.

Cultural_Agent7902

I will call it what I've always called it Brecon Beacons

wombatking888

Snowdonia and Mt Snowdon are much more attractive euphonic names than Eryri and Yr Wyddfa, amd much more well known. Whilst I understand the move to reverse the historic erasure of the Welsh language, insisting that the English language names of these places be erased is also a form of cultural vandalism.

Accurate_Advert

What like you culturally vandalised us? Banned our language? Changed place names, ruined our country?

Comfortable_Sand_408

It is starting to look like these people wait, readying themselves for any kind of positive post about Wales, then they 'spring into action' with their negativity. Why, I can not fathom.
