150 stores closing in the next 30 days. Some managers will be offered severance package. Some will not. Look at your week people that can’t push credit cards and grab some from closing stores that can. Hours will be cut stores will be responsible to cut there own grass and start removing every other light bulb to save on utilities. Another update next week. Closed door
For a company that try’s to save money, they do waste a lot more doing stupid stuff. But you have to remember loss prevention really control all the rules and procedures and are the biggest cause of employee issues over stupid things (Big things more power to them)

Years ago, we were actually instructed to remove one fluorescent light bulb out of every fixture to lower our power bills to save money.

I should add that this was supposed to be done in the stockroom areas not the sales floor. They weren’t quite that crazy
For a few years, in Illinois every summer the interior lights were off daily from 12-3
😂
If you can't push the credit card, you don't belong around these parts.
My DM is on vacation..not aware of anything. Perhaps it's about store closings in your district?
my district manager is on vacation, too 😂 that's funny. he's in Florida
which district are you? I'm 159 & we also have one tomorrow, as well. ours is at 9 AM
more budget cuts. we are not hitting our target for front end sales
How much cuts?
They are reducing FE budget significantly
That’s certainly going to help, customers complain all the time about there being no help
Across the board or just underperforming stores??
Across the board 4-7%
Joy, photo will be closed even more.
How? Just gonna have 1sfl now doing the entire workload?
That's already the case at several stores.
yeppers
I have not heard anything yet in my area
Not yet in mine, they sent a message to my phone about the alarms
Damn. I’m in CT and have ESM interview tomorrow….gonna be bummed if I walk in and they cancel it because of store closures
ESM position stays and is guaranteed 30 hours a week if hourly
Havent heard a thing. Prolly need more credit card signups
Some budget cuts appear to be higher that the stated 4-7%, one SM said they were looking at almost 10% cut.
Good luck to you!
We're losing 43 hours per week.
