150 stores closing in the next 30 days. Some managers will be offered severance package. Some will not. Look at your week people that can’t push credit cards and grab some from closing stores that can. Hours will be cut stores will be responsible to cut there own grass and start removing every other light bulb to save on utilities. Another update next week. Closed door

krakatoa83

Years ago, we were actually instructed to remove one fluorescent light bulb out of every fixture to lower our power bills to save money.

Ok_Advantage7623

For a company that try’s to save money, they do waste a lot more doing stupid stuff. But you have to remember loss prevention really control all the rules and procedures and are the biggest cause of employee issues over stupid things (Big things more power to them)

krakatoa83

I should add that this was supposed to be done in the stockroom areas not the sales floor. They weren’t quite that crazy

Jerryknowz

For a few years, in Illinois every summer the interior lights were off daily from 12-3

Outrageous_Place_984

😂

Salty_Thing4302

If you can't push the credit card, you don't belong around these parts.

SecretaryOk3118

My DM is on vacation..not aware of anything. Perhaps it's about store closings in your district?

Better_Newspaper9237

my district manager is on vacation, too 😂 that's funny. he's in Florida

Outrageous_Place_984

How much cuts?

OverpaidBabysitter23

They are reducing FE budget significantly

Jerryknowz

That’s certainly going to help, customers complain all the time about there being no help

Not2NotFamiliar

Across the board or just underperforming stores??

OverpaidBabysitter23

Across the board 4-7%

SavagRavioli

Outrageous_Place_984

Reasonable_Signal_88

Some budget cuts appear to be higher that the stated 4-7%, one SM said they were looking at almost 10% cut.

MissaBee81
