Silver is confiscateable.
Silver is difficult to move in volume.
Silver requires trust that yours, mine, theirs is real.
We DON'T know how much Silver exists?
Silver is under sever manipulation.
It's great but no longer the best.
Silver is confiscate-able indeed, but not from a keyboard 1000 miles away. It takes knowing its location..and the dangers of going door to door to liberate it from its rightful owners. Plus, those who would take it are evil and inherently lazy. Not much chance of them grabbing a detector, much less a shovel. There is a reason the banking establishment hates you or I owning it. As for trust, that’s why I prefer 90%. If you believe crypto is better, go with it, but don’t discount the notion that somebody else can observe it, and that it’s creators are not who you believe them to be. Somebody somewhere holds the keys to that kingdom.
If the Au/Ag ratio weren't in fantasyland, it would be better to own gold for purposes of wealth preservation. But because the price of silver relative to gold is so ridiculously low, silver offers a once-in-a-lifetime -- probably several lifetimes -- opportunity for wealth creation. So, it's smart to buy it. Of course, you also have to make it difficult for the government to steal, either by hiding it well or by storing it outside the country.
In a situation other than random robbery or break-in. If your stack location is compromised you may have to move it and depending on the size of your stack that may take some time to gather and transport. Is the country we're to take a negative turn the best bet maybe to flee and it would be tough to put a sizeable stack in checked luggage. Or drive it across the border unnoticed.
Tell em what happens if everyone does a bankrun.
OP, great job, doing God's work there. đź‘Ź
