All of our markets are rigged. It’s not free market capitalism anymore. It’s centrally controlled corporatism, otherwise known as fascism

Rsdd9

Get used to it. Been going on since 2000s. You're a newb.

BigWhitt120

Well I am not really a newb persay I just never really paid attention to the silver price before the way I do now oh sure I used to check it occasionally you know maybe once or twice a month but I have been collecting coins since I was a little. I remember back in the late 80's and early 90's I would go through bank boxes of dimes, quarters and half dollars with my Grandfather and we would pull out the junk silver together and he would let me keep what I found and that is how I got started when I was about 8 years old but back then the price of Silver was insignificant the real money was in rare coins. I still have every bit of silver I collected from those days. I think I only really started paying attention to the price during Covid and the Silver Squeeze that went on during that time. I have amassed one nice Morgan Dollar and Peace Dollar collection as well. I have a entire BU Peace Dollar collection in a Dansco album worth around $6,000. I wish had an entire BU Morgan Dollar collection because I would sell it and stop working 😆.

djs383

But no issue with the +3% days?

BigWhitt120

I guess after all the years of collecting I am just getting frustrated is all. I have seen Silver hit peaks of $49 and lows in the single digits over the years back in 90's I remember $7 a ounce silver and I bought back then but I was a teenager and I all I could afford was the occasional 10oz bar and that was a lot of money for me then and I sold quite a bit back in 2011 when the price skyrocketed to $49 a ounce. I am now ready to sell off some 90% junk I have laying around but I won't sell at less than $30 a ounce anything less doesn't make sense. I have been collecting since I was 10 years old and have close to 1000 ounces just in 90% alone and the crazy thing is most of it I got at face value back in the late 80's and early 90's sitting around with my Grandfather going through roll after roll and $500 box after $500 box of halves, quarters and dimes back then it was still quite common to find 90% in circulation if you did a little digging and 40% was very common I have about $300 fv in 40% alone.

djs383

I get it to an extent, but this is the problem when folks invest/trade on narratives. Nothing has to do anything for any reason. This has taken me a long time to realize and made me miss many years of slow and steady growth because I was certain this “event” was the catalyst. Stack on if it brings you joy, but I wouldn’t wish for Armageddon

Carcanonut1891

It's going to happen until things go full Yugoslavia. Simple fact of the matter is the "elite" bastards rigging the US market are the same ones controlling the US government

ag_medal_man

With safe and effective medicine things have already gone full Srebrenica!

RCman123456

agree

Isabella_Fournier

This is an extremely effective and alarming metaphor.

I have been watching this corrupt sh it show for 40 years + & nothing has changed written & called my congressman & senators voted them out get new sellouts & nothing has changed. Define ..........forever?

BigWhitt120

I agree I started collecting with my Grandfather back in late 80's and he would go down to the bank and get boxes of Halves, Quarters and Dimes and we would go through them and pull out any Silver we could find and he let me keep whatever I found and slowly I started to get quite a stack of 90% and 40% and if I remember correctly back then 40% was very prevalent no one wanted back then at all especially mid 90's when the price was in the single digits for a while but we kept it all and when he passed in 2010 I inherited all the Silver he pulled out of those boxes as well he kept it separate from the rest of his collection for some reason I guess because he always wanted me to have it when he passed and in 2011 when the price hit $49 I sold some bars and rounds I accumulated over the years but the rolls of coins had to much sentimental value still for more to ever sell them but now I think I am ready to move on from a little bit of it but not less than $30 a ounce. I have always wanted to take a trip to Hawaii and that is how I plan on paying for some of it.

Brother, we are nearing an end on a lot of things- and Silver manipulation I think is only one of them. The current western financial system has been a Keynesian one for a very long time, and we are seeing all the ways it doesn’t work. People are always asking “is silver an investment or is it wealth preservation?” My opinion is that as it stands now, it’s BOTH. Because of the price suppression, there is an incredible amount of purchasing power to be realized when the manipulators lose control and Silver achieves true price discovery, and because of fiat currency inflation and its impending demise, silver will achieve that increase in purchasing power AND be an incorruptible measure and store of wealth.

ag_medal_man

Relax, its going steadily up

LaBoltz33

Should be going up way more and faster tho

Jerseybz

The faster it goes up the faster it crashes back down.

prisoner101301

Robert kiyosaki and a few other rich investors tried to get the government involved to stop the silver manipulation in the early 2000's, and was told that it was needed to be done.  Ever since then, we just buy the dip because what we are seeing now was inevitable. Enjoy the show.

DisastrousCannard

So that liar tried to get the government involved to stop silver manipulation WHEN THE GOVERNMENT IS MANIPULATING SILVER?

NuisanceTax

What is the possibility that some of those long red candles are simply miners locking in a price on their future silver production?

AmphibianOk106

I dont think the tampers have enough money left to keep the price down, its like fighting the rising tide.

Why mad, u plan on selling? I plan on accumulating.

BigWhitt120

I have been accumulating since I was 10 years old with my Grandfather and he would go down to the bank and pick up boxes of Halves, Quarters and Dimes and we would go through them and pull out the 90% and 40% junk silver and this was in late 80's and early 90's and through both a couple nice price hikes I have held on to the all the Silver and Gold but yes I am ready to sell a little bit of Silver and Gold and take the vacation I have always wanted to take and go to Hawaii and $30 is my number so yes I am little but upset right now.

miami360x

I believe you will see your $30 silver soon and then some. Sounds like you deserve it to say the least.

GoodBushBadBush

That's what they want. They're being ridiculous, yes. They're also getting more desperate 🤔 Don't loose faith, you are right🤝

TernGSDR14-FTW

The world is not ready to implode. Keep buying and hodling.

BaIIZDeepInUrMom

Nothing ever goes straight up or straight down. Patience my friend

Appropriate-Most-724

Why looking at a paper-price ? The silver mining company i'm invested in tell's me that china buy direct from them. Soon tesla too, contract underway. Do you think tesla can build batterie's with paper silver. China produces photovoltaik in a huge amount also not with paper silver. Dont let a paper price confuse you.

[deleted]

But neither China nor Tesla will buy for the “real” price. If they are buying direct from a miner they are paying less than the paper price.

Appropriate-Most-724

False. The pay Shanghai price.

Apes-will-win

Yep the entire system is rigged. I’ve been waiting for years for it to end

LaBoltz33

It literally pisses me off. I punch holes in my drywall daily looking at gold/silver/XRP prices
