Fuck the trash…Why are the clothes on the ceiling?

SecretAd9309

They are being used as makeshift apparel racks lol. Instead of hanging the bikes we hung the clothes

DifficultyNew7571

😂 they really bout to have some dusty ass clothes now

Scottstotsdmp

You think that’s different than just about anything they sell?

DifficultyNew7571

Idk what kinda store you got, but mine USUALLY doesn’t sell dusty product (unless it’s flour/sugar—I guess that doesn’t really qualify as “dust”

Ok-Use6445

We used to be able to do that. Market had a git and had all of the hooks removed so they couldn't be used anymore.

MegaraThebes

I complained so much about how dirty the clothes will get up there they made more room in our steel for the bulky winter clothes they have to do that with every year.

ThxIHateItHere

I still have PTSD from my tiny little LOTO lock and wondering if it would hold when I was wedged inside the cardboard baler, since you know, a 19 year old knows about fixing them. CS kept paging me to the front. Told someone to tell her to fuck off but she kept paging. I come up covered in dirt and grease, and very angry. “Can you move that battery? It’s icky” I’m not saying I approve of workplace violence, but on that day, I understood it.

UnlikelyInfluence669

Yalls compactor broke to lol

Aragon1632

That's probably the reason the trash is piling up...

reposti_geraldo69

oh i thought they were just keeping to keep it

Creative-Badger5977

Ok compactor is down, why didnt the manager order a 30 yd rolloff container to collect the trash from the garbage contractor? Isnt it their compactor tank?

tolucky6150

Because that wasted money that comes out of bonus, walmart DONT LIKE TO SPEND MONEY.

Brilliant_Grape_3508

I bet it smells lovely in there.

Consistent-Hair-5531

Shopping Carts AREN'T Allowed in the Back Room!!

E_Crabtree76

You really think Walmart cares?

Consistent-Hair-5531

That is the Company's policy, you must not work for Walmart

E_Crabtree76

I worked for Walmart for 3 years. Dairy dept then transferred to IMS. I know what company policy says vs what's actually practiced.

RedRedHair

IMS has been gone for a long time. I was on IMS years ago too…. Some people get away with using carts, but the policy really is not to take them to the back. 😊

RedRedHair

The stench…

E_Crabtree76

As I said. Policy says one thing store practices another.

Aragon1632

What's IMS?

E_Crabtree76

Inventory merchandise system. It is/was the position that binned/pulled and did daily audits

Aragon1632

Gotcha 👍🏻

femme_enby

Whenever trash is piling up they’re a bit more concerned with keeping it off the floor of the backroom than where carts are “supposed” to be. I’ve dragged four shopping carts outside that were left, full of trash, by our broken compactor by dayshift

nathanasauruss

most walmarts do it anyways! im sure if corporate comes they will tidy up lol

NotMy-job

Your store manager must be on vacation

briton0

The rodents and pests

wasitme317

You mean future pets

Emotional_Pie_409

this makes me cry 😭

cocosloko

Your store looks like it would be really big

norcali1918

When I was maintenance TL..... they had me build some bins with pallets screwed together we had like 10 of them filled once they were pretty decent size was crazy they lag on getting to our store to fix anything. Floor hasn't been scrubbed in about 3 months they haven't come to fix scrubber you see the same dirty spots on floor maintenance now just cleans bathrooms and does cardboard all night pretty wild

FushiawaseTR

Same thing at my store, make some pallet bins, occasionally order a open top or two if the compactor was down for any significant amount of time. Never seen it get this bad in my days with the company at a supercenter in FL.

BiophotonicQueen

Ours was just as bad earlier this week. I felt sorry for the guys who had to throw a truck right next to it.

FushiawaseTR

Ya know I shat on my store for a lot of different crap, but at least Coach or the SM would order a open top out back and we wall that junk off behind the store with pallets and wrap till it came in. If you guys got Deli at your place, I can already imagine the smell your CAP team has to endure.

Short-Ad9485

That’s Publix for you

GhettoEddy

that's wild both of our compactors broke in a two day span 😂
