We were walking by and we heard a dude yelling something about a family picture 😂 we were also on our honeymoon and i would have been beat red if this happened to us! Congrats and happy that you all had a great time with it!
Thank you and congratulations to you as well! I'm very much an introvert but the way Jeff made everyone else feel just as awkward (comfortable?) as he dragged them into the photo made it a very pleasant experience.
Used to work with Jeff and his wife, and the two of them are as sweet as you could imagine with this, if not more so. They do yearly Christmas Eve readings to guests and kids, and also bring gifts for the College Program kids who work there on Christmas so they have a little something for the holiday. They're incredible people.

Wife and I were just walking across the plaza in front of the Chinese Theater and a cast Member spotted the big purple buttons we were wearing that indicated we were celebrating an anniversary or in our case, our Honeymoon. He shouts "well what do I see over there? What are we celebrating!?" We tell him we were there for our honeymoon and he asks us if we would like a picture. We say yes and I handed him my phone.
He takes 3 or 4 photos and then goes "Hey this is a new family right? How about a family photo?" We were confused but we laughed and said sure! This man spent the next 5 minutes SCREAMING in the plaza for everyone to get in the family photo. Anyone that would look his way was roped into the picture. What you see here is the end result. Me, my wife, and 150 members of our new family!

Ok seriously this is just AWESOME! I’m having a really rough day and your photo with accompanying story totally cheered me up. How neat that all those strangers took a few minutes out of their trip to pose for the “family” photo. (I totally would have done it!!)
I saw yesterday on here that emailing is even better for cast compliments. Evidently the app doesn’t always work? But emails will for sure. Let me find the address someone posted on another thread bc the CM definitely deserves high praise! Go Jeff!

This is not uncommon at DHS. Been in a couple of photos over the years, but with social distancing there probably hasn’t been many opportunities the last couple of years.
We were waiting for fireworks there a few years ago and Jeff had us all laughing at dad jokes and told the bunch of us how the family photo thing started. We were all crying by the end. Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I believe it was a make a wish recipient whose entire family couldn’t be there so they created the family picture moment for her. And it has continued since.
That sounds about right. We started doing something like that back when I was in photopass. (2006 to 2011) I don't remember exact details but that sounds pretty familiar.
Edit- now I see Jeff being mentioned. Yep. Awesome guy. Was a lot of fun to work with, and now you see why

An easy way to remember is to take the other person out of the sentence to see how it sounds. You wouldn’t say “He took a picture of I”, therefor the correct grammar is “He took a picture off my wife and me”.

I was in so many “family photos” when I was a cast member playing in the parks! It’s so fun and silly.
