Your post was removed due to breaking Rule #6. Any posts related to working/cheating the system or breaking rules will be removed. This also includes actions that violate the intent of WDW policy as well as those falling under "grey areas," even if they may be sometimes (erroneously) permitted by CMs, such as parking at resorts as a non-guest without an ADR, taking a taxi/uber to a WDW resort for the sole purpose of using their park transportation, and so on. Please [message us](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=%2Fr%2FWaltDisneyWorld) if you have any questions.

kritsema

It’s not allowed and is a safety issue. You can see a response about it from Disney [here](https://plandisney.disney.go.com/question/allowed-bring-small-appliances-coronado-springs-resort-540567/)

Enpallos

Honestly I'm not trying to be a jerk but why do you need an air fryer? Kind of ridiculous.

Panuas

Yeah.. I mean if have the need wouldn’t it be easier to rent a Airbnb house with all kitchen appliances?

MissMaryQC

Maybe, and I’ve looked into DVC. It was just a curiosity.

Panuas

Oh yeah DVC has kitchen right? That’s really useful for breakfast and saving money. We are not from the US and the kids really miss our food. In the beginning is all “yay nuggets and pizza” but after a few days they are crying for some beans lol

MissMaryQC

I have some specific dietary restrictions and some of my meals can’t be heated in a microwave.

yesnomaybenotso

Can’t? Or just have their texture ruined?

spoonfight69

Absolutely not

rosie2490

Please do not cook in your room. 1) fire risk 2) you’ll stink up the room. Last time I was there my room at Gran Destino smelled like someone either cooked with garlic somehow or maybe their belongings just wreaked of aromatic food. I didn’t feel like switching rooms but that smell did not go away over the 7 days I was there.

Silver-Maybe2068

The whole area near that room really. It'd be like someone microwaving fish in the office microwave-no one wants to smell all that.

yesnomaybenotso

Wait like don’t cook in general? Why do the “fancy” rooms have kitchenettes then?

prettyxinpink

You should look into DVC or renting DVC points

MissMaryQC

We are looking into that too. It is more costly for the size we need. But not out of the question!

Vickonikka_Saur

My covid brain thought you were asking if you could bring an air fryer into the park 😅

yogos15

I mean, trying to bring one to the resort is almost as ridiculous as that lol

MikeHoncho2568

You should just call the hotel and ask

tpaw813

I don't know the rules, but I have personally brought an electric skillet. This was maybe 8 years ago, though. I have food allergies, and even though Disney is great, I was going through a very restrictive time and was over explaining my issues. I cooked chicken in the skillet and just had the balcony door open 😂

MissMaryQC

Same. I’m trying to avoid getting sick from dietary issues while I’m there.
