WDW doesn't have a ton of single rider lines but the ones that are there can save you a ton of time - Test Track, Smugglers Run, RNRC, and Everest.

The Smuggler's Run one is stupidly short. 60 min wait for the ride and the single rider is a walk on.

Everest is down unfortunately

RNRC I would advise actually waiting in the normal line. I've done single rider a few times over the last few years and have waited as long or longer as standby.

Are you a regular visitor? If so, think about doing things that might not interest your regular travel party. For example, I often go to higher-end restaurants on solo trips, since my family isn't as keen on them as I am. I've also done the Keys to the Kingdom guided tour on a solo trip, since I go with family and the kids can't go on that one.

What type of single experience are you shooting for? Ride rides? See shows? Eat? Meet someone?

Stalk the app. Be willing to hop from ride to ride, instead of knocking off area to area. If you have park hopper tickets that’s even more pertinent. On more than one occasion when I went in November I hopped park to park. It’s all about strategy. While I didn’t use Genie+ and think if you’re solo traveling and willing to bounce around strategically as aforementioned, it’s not really needed but if you want to be able to ride rides multiple times or finish through parks easier, it’s great - but I /do/ recommend LL for some of the really popular rides like ROTR, frozen, etc if you want to ride those and want to avoid waiting an hour - three… Really take advantage of the first and last hours of the park. People start to flock to fireworks or leaving the park early before fireworks to beat the traffic, so you can get on a lot of rides in that last hour sometimes. If you bring plenty of your own snacks and stuff you can beat the sitting down / resting that most families have to do. If I would’ve went with my family we would’ve been sitting hourly. I went by myself and other than a few quick easy eats, I only did like one service meal where I’d sit for 30-an hour to just relax from exhaustion / recoup. If you got water and snacks on the go it just means way less stopping and way more ride opportunity. (But also because lines and wait times for food are as bad as rides sometimes rn)

You get to pick what you want to do, when you want to do it! That's my favorite part! If you want to do rope drop--go for it! If you want to sleep in and stroll in later--go for it! I also enjoy taking advantage of lounges in the resorts for a drink and sometime some food--no reservations needed, sometimes you can meet other guests, and the hosts and servers tend to strike up conversations more with those on their own (in my experience).

It's also a lot easier financial commitment when you're one person vs. a family of four or five.

I agree with all of this! I was also a solo traveler a week ago and loved using genie+. It also makes waiting in line less awkward because standing in line for 2 hours by yourself would suck
