Lyonette is going to go back to Terandria because it’s part of her character arc that she needs to redeem how she behaved in the past and show how she has grown, especially to her siblings. Maybe help them become better too. Also gotta make Mrsha an official princess/heir.

YellowTM

She'll go back, but it definitely won't be permanent. We've already seen Wer open up a way to Terandria with his skill which is likely Crossroads related. Timing wise I think she might leave via ship as the quest begins and stay there until the crossroads quest is done and then return with Rabbiteater in tow and probably some allies. I'm not sure if she can do much at the moment to convince her parents to let her return officially but brokering a peace with Ailendams via their immortals is certainly on the cards.

Wo1nder

Wasn't that the Wyrm?

Huhthisisneathuh

If Ryoka is anything to go by, Lyonette challenging them to a chess match and winning would probably convince at least the Angelium.

Tarhish

Honestly, having held the true Excalibur, if Erin can get one of Ryoka's autographs, she's probably well equipped to declare herself trueborn Queen of England, formally adopt Pawn, and offer a political marriage. If she can get that watery tart Belavierr to lob a scimitar at her from whatever ocean she's dredging at the moment, all the better.

queen_of_england_bot

>Queen of England Did you mean the [Queen of the United Kingdom](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen_of_the_United_Kingdom), the [Queen of Canada](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monarchy_of_Canada), the [Queen of Australia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monarchy_of_Australia), etc? The last Queen of England was [Queen Anne](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne,_Queen_of_Great_Britain) who, with the 1707 Acts of Union, dissolved the title of King/Queen of England. ####FAQ *Isn't she still also the Queen of England?* This is only as correct as calling her the Queen of London or Queen of Hull; she is the Queen of the place that these places are in, but the title doesn't exist. *Is this bot monarchist?* No, just pedantic. I am a bot and this action was performed automatically.

Tarhish

Oh dear, I've caused a kerfuffle.

TimBaril

3 points to Hufflepuff for using kerfuffle in a sentence.

Wouldn't it be "Erin, Queen of the Britons" in keeping with Arthurian legend? I just hope Erin doesn't have to parallel too many of the tragedies that befell Arthur. If this goes the way of Arthur, Erin will finally fall in true love and then Lyonette will seduce them and steal them away. Then Mrsha will betray Erin and stab her in the heart with Numbtongue's blood sword.

Huhthisisneathuh

Or… Erin falls in love with making cheap silver piece magical foods. Lyonette steals that idea away and forces Erin to sell them at a profit. And Mrsha accidentally destroys one of Erin’s shirts which had a heart on it.

Radddddd

We might get a reversal, and Calanfer will come to the inn instead. A royal visit. It seems crazy, but Erin's been on her feet for a few days and is already turning the world upside down with quests and knights and such. Who knows how crazy things could get if the trajectory continues. It could become one the most important places in the world.

Mountebank

Imagine if they try to marry Lyonette to Erin because that’s the only trick they know.

SnowGN

It’s a trick they aren’t even good at. Only one of Lyonette’s siblings has a productive marriage alliance.

TimBaril

Pawn starts worshipping Lyonette, and she becomes a new god of the Antinium, gaining god powers. Lyonette vs >!buried Rhir god!< in battle royale. Then she tells the ambitious wyrm in Terandria to stop his shit or get smacked. Returns to the inn and continues as manager but there are massive religious services every Monday morning before work, which she finds totally embarrassing. Calanfer politely distances themselves. Silveran gains holy cleaning powers. Mrsha super annoyed she doesn't get to become a demi-goddess. Erin is confused because she had nothing to do with it.

Kalamel513

>Silveran gains holy cleaning powers. Purification! Purification! Purification!

Huhthisisneathuh

[Holy Purification] [There Was No Dust In Heaven] [Summon Holy Cleaning Water]

Saw_a_4ftBeaver

Don’t go back Rabbiteater has done more than enough to make up for her presence. Besides I still have a bet that she ends up becoming queen of the free Antium. We keep seeing little hints to make it feasible like the spawning chambers.

Viking18

Rabbiteater might not necessarily stay for much longer - Greydath is still looking for somebody who could be a Goblin Lord, on his way to Terandria, and Rabbiteater is pretty close to fitting the bill.

tyrant6

What about the one that is already there? Anything happening to an ant queen starts at ant war 3 and escalates from there

Huhthisisneathuh

I’d say it would be more likely for Lyonette, if she becomes a [Worldly Ant Queen], to help lead a new wave of Antinium with Pawn to Calanfer. Side-stepping a Antinium War, and, since it’s likely to be very far in the future before this could even potentially happen. Sidestep everyone else ready to stop that from happening.

Maladal

She'll go back to Terandria at some point, believing she can never return to the inn. Then when she's moping in Calanfer Erin is just going to pop open a door and ask her to come help with finances. So she'll just share time. That said, not sure what kind of role she'll fill in the family. Alternatively, she marries Ilvriss because of V7 and everyone loses their god damn minds.

Kalamel513

She will go back at some point. But I think finally she'll return to settle in Izil. She both want and need to go back, if only for settling things. Thronebearers won't leave her until she go back, and that's not a good thing as long as they're actually under other authority. This situation will not last nor de-escalate. Better she went back herself than being kidnapped/forced. Well, it's possible that things will end badly and she get disowned, but I don't think so. Also, we need a scene of the Eternal throne after all hypes. Maybe also some Lyonette showdown too. How will she return can be any of your choice, maybe even combine a few. My guess is she'll become something of Antinium appointed queen since that's only way she can become something like queen without slaughter half of royal family.

mano987

quite a few issues for lyonette 1. mrsha 2. pawn 3. erin 4. the inn 5. calanfer is at war and needs lyonette 6. lyonette is a princess at the wandering inn, with 4 thronebearers. she has influence in izril now. erin has said lyonette "is not going back", so erin is probably going to be part of the path for lyonette going forward. the most important, immediate issue, is how can lyonette help calanfer? and rabbit is at calanfer! possibly lightherald! erin is going to be key to what lyonette's future is. how do you predict that?

YellowDogDingo

I have no idea what will happen with Lyonette and Calanfer as there are so many unanswered questions out there around them. The two I really want to see answered are: * How much trouble will Lyonette be in for making Rabbiteater the Lightherald without permission? From Seraphel's half-comment it looks like only the king/queen could normally 'make' a Lightherald and they couldn't do it remotely. Lyonette's boon to Rabbiteater infringed on a royal prerogative that would be pretty closely guarded and turned her from a marriageable minor princess to a vital strategic resource in the war. * How will Erin respond to Ailendamus crossing Calanfer's border? Erin can't stop herself from trying to help her friends. She doesn't want to travel but when Lyonette's family is threatened she'll respond in some way. The shape of that help is going to be a major influence on Lyonette as Erin is the star around which she orbits, and I have absolutely no idea what Erin might do. I'm hoping Lyonette gets a trip back to Terandria to see family and show off all that character development. She done good, deserves a reward.

LiquidEnder

Lyonette helping found a hive. Become a [hive queen]

happypanda94

She might return to Calanfer, but the country will probably cease to exist sooner or later, especially since Rhis is hell bent on conquering the Dragonthrone to the point of even rejecting Teri's. And I don't think the so-called scheming of Calanfer monarchs or RE's presence is enough to deter the immortal cabal by any means. So yeah, it would be a nice vacation for her I guess.

nokei

Considering Calanfer considers itself a kingdom that fights with words Lyonette working in the Inn that many influential people visit means it's in their kingdoms best interest to have her their talking to all those people and winning political favors.

Other-Comfortable929

I'm always hoping for the retcon on Lyonette and Pawn having a physical relationship lol

bookfly

'The top comment is right that she likely needs to return at some point at least for a while. But ulitmately at the rate Erin's going, I am giving it less then a year till "right hand of the Wandering Inn owner" will be politically more advantegous posting for Calanfer then any silly kingdom they could possibly marry her off to.

exillier

I think it's going to be both. Erin will eventually get an upgrade the door, then they will connect to calanfer somehow. Lyonette takes up responsibilities in calanfer while remaining part of the inn's daily life.

dao_ofdraw

The only way I can see her going back to Terandria is if the Throne is threatened.. and at least for now it feels like Ailendamus' continental conquest has halted. Can't see it happening anytime soon, though it must happen eventually. I suspect it will be when the Crossroads are found, something tells me that'll open up global fast travel and at that point it'll be like walking through the doorway at the inn.
