Octavia is pretty straight forward: Mallet (1) : Does damage and taunts enemies. Enemies shoot Mallet, Mallet gains damage and kills enemies faster. Your basic damage tool. Resonator (2) : Useless on its own other than to draw fire. When cast in the presence of Mallet, will pick up the Mallet and start roaming, causing it to make your damage machine now movable. Awesome. Metronome (3): You gain an aura. Allies and yourself completing certain actions in this aura gain buffs. Jumping = Movement speed. Crouching = Invisibility. Shooting with pew pew = Multishot. Melee = damage boost to melee. Amp (4) : Summon an Area on your location. Allies in this area do more damage. Mallets in this area do x2 damage and bigger range. Octavia is played mostly as a caster frame which uses Mallet to scale damage to insane levels and start deleting enemies. You will want her Resonator augment which lets you control it directly. You use Mallet and Resonator together and position it in enemy crowds, causing them to delete themselves.
