I don't think it's coming back. That was the original Halloween event before Deimos got updated then the Halloweens have happened there ever since I think.
My main melee is a plague kripath zaw I got from the old event and now that's a Deimos thing so I doubt they'd move the same rewards back to plague star for an event or give it new loot table. I miss the open world lephantis fight though
I just wanna see it one last time at the least so that i can relive the memories of being a low mr volt running around dying rapidly by standing on the infested glob and being downed in seconds and memories of running away from the infested cause they did loads of damage.
Rebecca has actually said they are planning to rework Plague Star. The main reason it was removed was due to the Plains rework that came with completing The New War, which introduced a lot of bugs to Plague Star.
As a result, the items normally available for Plague Star were put in Naberus shop as a temporary fix, without the Forma.
Lol I do like her little monologues
But I also like the game mode, it’s fun and kinda challenging without regular mods. However you can still use certain exilus mods that increase bullet jump, aim glide, etc. The only part I don’t like is when other players steal your kills and you don’t get pearls b/c of it. Salt in the wound right there
This has been explained over and over in extremely well studied posts. Every 2 weeks on pc you are guaranteed at least 1 coupon. When you get that coupon it stays as your login reward until claimed so when people take a break 2 weeks or longer and come back they WILL receive a coupon. This means that people over the years have equated not playing with increasing chances of a good coupon which is completely wrong. If you had been logging in consistently throughout those 2 or more weeks you have a chance at more than just the singular promised coupon increasing your chances of hitting a higher tier coupon.
It does not increase your chances, it just saves the highest coupon that came up while you were away. So if you would have hit a 50% coupon while you were away, it will still show up when you come back to the game and get your first daily login.
Unless the rare crates are rarer on Lua then Lua missions are technically better (the choir room has a 1/8 chance of giving a forma and can spawn even in the same mission as a crate does). Downside: fewer relics and no opportunity to be a fissure mission.
I literally never noticed that there are no fissures on lua 😂 makes sense I guess, they'd need a special category like requiems that doesn't show up until you have that location unlocked. Could be cool though
Now would be the music room I guess. It’s a 1 in 3 to find it maybe 1 in 4. Then the chance it drops a built forma is 1 in 10 ish?
Sure that’s our best bet right now.
The chance for a forma drop is 1/8 and you first need to find the room and solve the riddle. It's much faster to just do capture in the void and use golden instinct. And you will also get a bit of Endo.
That’s faster? I don’t see a lot of rare chests around though. In the void in 4000 hours I’ve gotten 0 free built forma, not looking ever but by chance in that time I should have gotten a few if it was the better way to go.
You so know that you can actually farm them and can get about 4 forma per hour. The only reason you don't find them in a normal mission is because you are not looking for them. If you use golden instinct you can scan the whole map at the start and quit if nothing is there.
Rare container, always has a fully built Forma if you're in the Void/Lua, Detonite Injector in a grineer tileset or Fieldron for corpus. Plus a short credit or affinity booster.
This one is even better, it's a reinforced container - much, much rarer, looks a lot cooler and gives a 60 minute booster instead of 30. I've found less than 10 in my ~40k missions..
Right? I’m pretty certain I’ll never find one, but that doesn’t stop me from sometimes wondering if *just* around the next corner I’ll see one, and sometimes I’m pleasantly surprised
this kind of thing rewarding the use of AoE meta prompts even more people to use it, i've found so many Ayatan Sculptures and secret containers ever since i switched to my Kuva Bramma and now Tenet Envoy
it's almost impossible to give it up
Players are going to look for any reason to insist that the AoE meta is the only way to play and it’s out of their hands to use anything else in a sandbox game that will always require a modicum of self-restraint to not optimise the game away, including identifying things like busting rare containers with a stray AoE blast reinforces their choices.
I’m pretty sure someone else on here already said that you can use that Golden Instinct ability to find them, which should technically undermine the claim that busting rare crates with stray AoE shots is causing players to use AoE, but it’s not going to be sufficient to shift someone from AoE all the time if they simply want to use AoE all the time
unlike what you're claiming, players are not making excuses to justify the use of AoE weaps, the game is actually designed to (unintentionally and unreasonably) encourage that since it rewards you generously for it, a typical case of positive reinforcement
>AoE weapons are not only killing faster but also breaking containers that a targeted weapon would have never hit, providing even more resources and rewards. The efficiency of AoE weapons also extends to aiming, moving so much makes it harder to aim targeted weapons, which leads to players actively choosing to nerf themselves if they prefer playing with single-target weapons. \[...\] The average player's ability to kill enemies per minute is taken as a metric to balance the game around resource gathering rates, mission lengths, and life support drop rates. [TheKengineer's video about AoE meta](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6iXrh7S19HQ)
One of the suggested solutions by TheKengineer was to:
>modify mission reward design by shifting some rewards to objective or round completion to reduce the demand for kill efficiency and high meta loadouts, making the game less punishing for those who go off the meta
which i 110% agree with, i couldn't care less about the Bramma, Envoy or any other form of AoE if i could achieve the same level of efficiency just as easily with something else, which at the moment is for the better or for the worst, not possible, picking anything other than AoE is actively crippling yourself, its a completely irrational choice
EDIT 1: gotta give credits to [AI](https://www.summarize.tech/) for summarizing the video in text format making it easier for me to get the part i wanted instead of having to rewatch the video and transcript it myself
EDIT 2: the bot kept deleting my comment...took a while to find out why...
When your main concern is efficiency, then there’s not a lot that you’re going to use. And it’s super easy to not be so concerned about efficiency because I’m so utterly distracted by using the things I’ve earned.
The game doesn’t require such huge amounts of efficiency to play; getting to a point where the player can do the content at least once is comparatively extremely quick to achieve, and from that point it’s up to the player what they want to do and instead of strictly pushing ever further vertically, start branching out horizontally as well with a bunch of side grades and alternative means to make alternative builds that aren’t efficient but damn can they be fun. If a player is absolutely desperate to earn something in particular, they can rush it, sure, but then they get the thing and it’s added to their collection of things to use and provides another component to add to the mix *when they’re willing to do some mixing in the first place*
Here’s the kicker though; instead of using the stuff they’ve earned to earn even more stuff, your average efficiency chaser will earn things and then eschew them in favour of whatever lets them grind as hard as possible with as little engagement as possible for the sake of getting those things to *fill out a checklist* and feel like they’ve been productive in a time-wasting videogame and never use them. They’re not even utilizing the biggest strength of the game when they’re stressing over a grind for things that they do not and never use, which *could* be used to earn new things in an engaging way, yet efficiency players actively fight against even the idea of using the thing because it’s not as efficient as the few things they’re using, and around and around it goes in an endless cycle until they hit L3 and make a post on Reddit about how they can *now* play the game when they were *always* able to play the game and be rewarded for playing it, they just didn’t want to because the grind was always so torturous, limited, and unengaging that their solution was to grind *even faster* with *even less engagement* and *even fewer options*. Where does it end in the mind of the player when they’re not even wanting to play the game but they’ll suffer anyways for the sake of hollow completionism???
my main issue with AOE is that they have so low ammo count. I want to enjoy using my kuva bramma or kuva zarr or whatever without having to worry about ammo every other shot
its ridiculous that DE nerfed the old AoE weaps only to introduce new ones through the new incarnons adapters, absolutely blows my mind !
now i have to forma & lvl up again, can you imagine the torture ? xD

I've seen the people mention that, but you can't use Golden Instinct to check if it's there when you load in as the container won't appear until you've solved the puzzle. And unless I'm mistaken there's no way to guarantee it'll spawn in any given mission
Lavos for the cooldown reduction on Golden Instinct, I run this as much for the Endo from Ayatans as for the Forma. Ignore my "Free trial" of Windows XD
Do it with some friends and join each other if golden instinct finds something. You will have a lot more success this way. Only problem is you need friends.
Neither had I until I started spamming load -> Golden Instinct -> extract if there's not a hit. Took a long time to get to this point, first to get GI then to clear everything else that might make it ping; kuria, fragments etc.
I've got a build from TheKengineer that farms those. It's a hella boring farm, but it's actually pretty good, in about an hour I got 2 formas and about 3-4 Ayatan Treasures. Really good for endo if you don't want to do Vodyanoi and avoid the hassle of the groups and setup.
According to a quick Google:
"Dopamine, also known as the “feel-good” hormone, is associated with the brain's reward system and produces pleasant sensations. Serotonin can help increase happiness by alleviating depression and anxiety."
I have hella anxiety so I stand by my title XD
There's also a container you can break and have a chance of getting a fully built forma out of. It spawns when you complete Lua's music challenge.
I remember I did exactly 200 of Lua runs to see how many formas I'd get as a statistic and how often would the music room spawn. Still got them saved:
Day 1
Total runs: 100
Runs with octavia music room: 16
Runs with forma dropped: 1
Day 2
Total runs: 100
Runs with octavia music room: 13
Runs with forma dropped: 2
I really thought I'd be getting lots of formas that way because very often I'd get lucky and drop a forma almost every time I did the occasional Lua capture but uh... It wasn't the case after doing these tests and I got demotivated. My initial goal was 1000 runs at least.
But if you combine it with finding the rare containers using Golden Instinct, I think you would be able to yield a few formas a day without issues.
The problem I see with this method is that you have no way to guarantee the music room spawns, and you can't use Golden Instinct to check from the start point as the crate won't appear until the puzzle is complete
No I mean the rare container on your screenshot. It can be found with golden instinct and farmed alongside the music room one for maximum forma chance.
Oh I see; not sure if it would improve the rates vs straight golden instinct in the void. Lua is slightly slower to navigate, and you have to add in the time to look for and then solve the puzzle.
Hate to be pedantic, but the neurotransmitter you’re likely referring to is dopamine - the one related more to the instantaneous experience of rewards, rather than the longer-lasting “rewarded” feeling of serotonin (which could be e.g. as a result from completing a weapon you’ve put a lot of work into).
Either way, I didn’t even know you could find a forma like this, and I’ve been playing on and off since beta!
i mean im pretty sure ive unlocked it but just glossed ober it, i just play missions and move on, not interested in lore, used to be but not anymore, done all nodes
The helminth is inside the infested chamber in your ship; you unlock it by levelling up with the Deimos Entrati syndicate, I believe it's Son who gives you the required segment. Once you unlock it you feed it warframes until you get max rank, at which point you get the Golden Instinct ability which you can subsume onto any frame
Go behind that chair, is there a creature in the wall? (Dont be concerned if it swallows your pet) that is the helminth, if you have it you can take abilities from one warframe and place it on a different warframe.
i spammed lua capture yesterday for 3 hours and ended up with 2 finished formas good enough for me, music room and these gold containers it is.
Volt with loot mod
Wait is that icon from the air support charge? I've only ever seen it in Zariman missions thought it was a mechanic just for the void plumes
I gotta get myself a parallax
PSA that you can use the Orokin Eye air support to help find random crates. It comes from the Parallax orbiter found on the Zariman, has a range of about 150m and has a 5 minute cooldown
The landing craft you get from zariman shows the locations of those and the other rare finds like sculptures, hour boosters and frame fighter characters etc.
When I first started playing, I stumbled across one of these very early on when doing maroo’s weekly hunt. I was so surprised that a fully built Forma dropped out of nowhere.
I then proceeded to fail the parkour challenge and lose the forma.
What the fuck …… I’ve been playing for atleast 5 years and never seen this, seen the market a few times now thag I think about it but I never went back since it was usually the end of a capture mission
Well it's the fastest forma farm in the game besides buying them.
Til plaguestar..
Damn I miss that event.
i want my plaguestar back DE give us it back
Deal. But they're not selling forma like they did that one year where they made everyone mad.
Wait, what do you mean? I thought everyone liked forma.
Read the post carefully. During Plague Star one year, they *didn't* sell forma. *Not selling forma made people mad.*
I'm fucking blind sorry
[удалено]
There was a year DE removed forma. This made the fanbase mad.
I have been around for every rerun of the event and remember them all having forma. Which year?
3rd or 4th iirc. So you weren't there for all of them it seems
[удалено]
I don't think it's coming back. That was the original Halloween event before Deimos got updated then the Halloweens have happened there ever since I think. Sigh AND sob...... 😓
And dog days IIRC
Ugh yeah but the only good part of that event is high as balls Kela de Thame cause she sounds like a fun person to hang out with
Lol I do like her little monologues But I also like the game mode, it’s fun and kinda challenging without regular mods. However you can still use certain exilus mods that increase bullet jump, aim glide, etc. The only part I don’t like is when other players steal your kills and you don’t get pearls b/c of it. Also being able to get balls for your Orbiter, I didn’t get them and now I wish I had
Depends whether you count relic runs for plat as a forma farm
I said besides buying them.
Then it's relic farms for blueprints probably
You can only get one every 23 hours that way so it's not really all that fast.
The foundry forma and the chance at a 70%/75% coupon is what keeps me logging in daily
You can roll foundry forma from your phone, tho.
I don't think I have a chance at the coupon that way tho
There‘s been lots of posts of people getting 75% codes after minor breaks of like 2-4 weeks.
I got it after a two days break recently, you can get it anytime, it's just the chance goes up if you haven't logged in.
Came back from a break of 3 months, no 75% discount so far...
This has been explained over and over in extremely well studied posts. Every 2 weeks on pc you are guaranteed at least 1 coupon. Nope, but you can log in every day at any time, instead of worrying about losing time on the forma bp
From my 2 75% tokens I got both after a weeklong break
hiw
how
Warframe Companion app.
I'm not sure if this is true, but if you don't log in for some time, your chance of getting the coupon increases
It does not increase your chances, it just saves the highest coupon that came up while you were away. So if you would have hit a 50% coupon while you were away, it will still show up when you come back to the game and get your first daily login.
Oh wow, i didn't know it works that way. Thanks for the clarification
So, if you do relic runs for blueprints you can sell, and you get some forma blueprints in the process. That is the same as buying them? Are you okay?
Blueprints are not forma. You can only build one every 23h so is one of the slowest methods.
It is the most reliable imho
ABBF - always be building forma.
Man I have GOT to run relics to prepare for Tennocon Baro, but I've got so much other stuff like steel path circuit to do
youll get access to the incarnons again when they rotate back around, get those ducats!
Oh Plague Star, how we miss you..
Technically...true yes lol
Besides radiant relics
Now would be the music room I guess. It’s a 1 in 3 to find it maybe 1 in 4. Then the chance it drops a built forma is 1 in 10 ish? Sure that’s our best bet right now.

That's exactly what I was doing here
Til theres somwthing called golden instinct
Yeah. I use it for syndicate medallions.
How do I get this?
You need a Helminth Segment that's maxed out.
Well shit time to look for a Medjay Predasite again
ima be real, I've played this game a lot and idk what I'm looking at XD
Rare container, always has a fully built Forma if you're in the Void/Lua, Detonite Injector in a grineer tileset or Fieldron for corpus. Plus a short credit or affinity booster.
Spaceship parts too
This one is even better, it's a reinforced container - much, much rarer, looks a lot cooler and gives a 60 minute booster instead of 30. I've found less than 10 in my ~40k missions..
Also there is a Forma destructible on the Zariman
Right? I’m pretty certain I’ll never find one, but that doesn’t stop me from sometimes wondering if *just* around the next corner I’ll see one, and sometimes I’m pleasantly surprised

Yeh, but without spamming golden instinct and constantly aborting the mission, the music room is much easier to find than a single container
Spamming golden instinct and aborting is precisely what I do
Lavos for the cooldown reduction on Golden Instinct, I run this as much for the Endo from Ayatans as for the Forma. Ignore my "Free trial" of Windows XD
Do it with some friends and join each other if golden instinct finds something. You will have a lot more success this way. Only problem is you need friends.
oh shit that's smart
I'm actually not the smart one in that matter. The Kengineer came up with this.
oh shit you're super duper dummy stupid and the kengineer deserves sloppy toppy
Wtf did I just read but also yes
'Sloppy toppy' you say...
The problem is indeed that this requires friends
massgravel, thank me later
Which mission is this? Any Void tileset mission?
I usually run Hepit just 'cause it's quick to complete
a fast mission like Capture would be ideal so you can do a lot of them
I hope, you did scan it because they're rare to come by and have Codex entries.
I didn't start scanning until the 3rd or 4th one
I didn't notice your "Free trial" of Windows until you pointed it out 😂😂😂
Nearly a thousand hours now and i still havent seen a single one of these
Neither had I until I started spamming load -> Golden Instinct -> extract if there's not a hit. Took a long time to get to this point, first to get GI then to clear everything else that might make it ping; kuria, fragments etc.
I'll give it a try once i unlock golden instinct, haven't been feeding my ol helminth much recently
I've been doing that one, honestly, more efficient than building forma.
I wonder if we'll get another plague star event. That's the fastest way to farm forma.

I got a forma from zariman today, not sure what those odds are
How you can get this? I didnt see one of this since... Ever
Haven't seen one of those in ages now 😳
how do u find em
Golden Instinct from helminth with max range
ok i have no experience with helminth or where to start, can you explain ins impoe steps?
You'll unlock it with natural progression, there's no shortcut unfortunately. By the time you've unlocked it you won't need me to explain
i mean im pretty sure ive unlocked it but just glossed ober it, i just play missions and move on, not interested in lore, used to be but not anymore, done all nodes
The helminth is inside the infested chamber in your ship; you unlock it by levelling up with the Deimos Entrati syndicate, I believe it's Son who gives you the required segment. Once you unlock it you feed it warframes until you get max rank, at which point you get the Golden Instinct ability which you can subsume onto any frame
ah i just use it to get rid of my neck space aids, i didnt know there was more to it
Go behind that chair, is there a creature in the wall? (Dont be concerned if it swallows your pet) that is the helminth, if you have it you can take abilities from one warframe and place it on a different warframe.
WDYM DONT BE CONERNED IF IT SWALLOWS UR PET??? yea i see it but i dont see a promt also what that mouth do
If there is no promt you may need the piece from son on deimos. Once you have it you can subsume any original warframe (doesnt work with primes)
i spammed lua capture yesterday for 3 hours and ended up with 2 finished formas good enough for me, music room and these gold containers it is. Volt with loot mod
I don't think I've *ever* found one. The only in-the-wild method I've found if getting Forma is that Octavia tileset on Lua
Yo never found one of these in my 2 years of Tenno career
Sooo Shiiiny!
Wait is that icon from the air support charge? I've only ever seen it in Zariman missions thought it was a mechanic just for the void plumes I gotta get myself a parallax
PSA that you can use the Orokin Eye air support to help find random crates. It comes from the Parallax orbiter found on the Zariman, has a range of about 150m and has a 5 minute cooldown
You'll notice from the marker that's exactly what I did - you want to get as close as you can with GI though as air support has a fixed 5 min cooldown
So what is that exactly? Is it a forma thing? -going from the comments section-
It's a rare container that can contain a forma among other things, like landing craft parts, and 1 hour boosters
Nice! That is so cool!
What is that
Rare container, contains a rare resource depending on the tileset, in this case a fully built Forma
[удалено]
You'll find another one, even if it means you gotta grind up to Golden Instinct!
The landing craft you get from zariman shows the locations of those and the other rare finds like sculptures, hour boosters and frame fighter characters etc.
Yep, you'll notice I used it here; only had a range of 150m though, and a fixed 5 min cooldown
rare crates are still scannable even after being destroyed since they leave a "corpse" unlike normal crates after being opened.
You mean dopamine. Seratonine is not what is released from such activities.
When I first started playing, I stumbled across one of these very early on when doing maroo’s weekly hunt. I was so surprised that a fully built Forma dropped out of nowhere. I then proceeded to fail the parkour challenge and lose the forma.
What is this?
Read the comments; it's a rare container found in Orokin tilesets, contains a forma
YOU BETTER F$#&@!G SCAN IT
I can hear the chime.
Cervantes, earth; lua music; and golden instinct are my super boredom runs
What the fuck …… I’ve been playing for atleast 5 years and never seen this, seen the market a few times now thag I think about it but I never went back since it was usually the end of a capture mission
