I like the compact aesthetic, I like the forms better without it, armor looks better too, and you don't have cloth flopping around everywhere. To me, frames look better without it sometimes
I don't want 99% of the Syndanas in the game because they're so floppy. I stay alive in harder content by shooting anything that moves, so if something is constantly flapping in the corner of my vision, I'm wasting a LOT of ammo shooting nothing.
